Because when you feel like "My skin needs this" and then you have a long wait or no openings makes you put off treating your skin right. (or maybe its just me). Okay back to the scheduling of this appointment with Aesthetic Theory Detroit (ATD). I click on the tab to request appointment on yelp and I love that right away i was taken to a quick few questions what my concerns were along with a few other questions. Because when deciding on a facial it can be a bit overwhelming if you don't know what would work. I was happy that it didn't take long before i got a reply back with suggestion what facial would work based on my concerns. I got schedule for a few days later and I was on my way to having a Dermal infusion. Day of my appointment everything was smooth from the minute I walked in, I answered a few questions and then I was taken to a room where my facial started right away. It didn't take long maybe 45min total if you count the time it took me to fill out the information on the ipad, now let me tell you BEAUTY IS PAIN and this might not be for everyone but the end results is so worth. And of course consistency with your skin care regimen is a must, I saw the difference in my skin with just 1 appointment. It also helps that they take before and after pictures so you can see the progress but honestly I saw it after 1 visit. I did schedule for another one in about a month because its a PRICEY but 1's a month you can make it work because your skin will thank you. I loved how i didnt feel pressure to buy anything or like I was being given a sales pitch during my facial. 2 days after the facial I did get a few little breakout but I was told that would happen because of the treatment from the Dermal inusion. But Heather did a fabulous job and i'm looking forward to getting my skin right and the next appointment I have. Recommend management have "secret shoppers" calling to rate their interactions with staff to find out where the weak link is and fix it. Very disappointing as this practice used to be where everyone wanted to go, but seeing the lackluster reviews shows that owners really could care less about patient satisfaction and are putting more focus on the cash cow of spa products and service.

My nails looked like they'd been run through a wood chipper and I needed to refresh my face.  My husband gifted me a spa day at Revive Salon in Trenton, Michigan.  I had a wonderful day getting spoiled!  Apryl gave me a perfect manicure, and Lana's pedicure was delightful. I ended my wonderful day with a facial by Kelly. Every one of them was so sweet to me, and I feel like a glamorous superstar!  My manicurist was Apryl.  She has been doing nails for something like 30 years!  She is very talented.  My nails look beautiful (see pics).  She listened to what I wanted and worked efficiently to meet my needs.  I loved talking to her, too.  I was impressed that she has so much experience but still up to date on trends.   Lana did my pedicure.  She is also very experienced.  I loved how tender she was with my feet, but she also worked on them to make sure they were super soft.  She was kind and made me feel very comfortable.  I am kind of self conscious about my feet as I haven't gotten a pedicure in a super long time, but she made me feel good about them.  I ended my wonderful day with a facial by Kelly.  Omg!  That was so relaxing, and my face feels super soft. The facial was an hour of heaven!  Kelly was informative about the products she used, but she didn't once try to sell me anything.    I love how each of them were efficient but took their time.  With all three, it was a nice balance between chatting and relaxing quiet. She does a great job every time and is very thorough. Leecis is so cool and personable, really makes the task of being completely nude from the waist down a lot easier. If you're looking to get a Brazilian for the first time or are a repeat offender I would definitely get down here! I have also seen her for facials and skin care.
