They took my kitchen project ideas and created spaces far above what I could ever imagine. I looked forward to meeting with them and watching my little kitchen space evolve before my eyes. I received so much attention it felt like I was their only client. Unlike my contractor, Guido, and Victoria were always available to me. Always. Guido is an experienced, creative designer with excellent taste who thinks outside the box. He went with me to pick my stone and backslash even offering to drive me to the Bay area for more choices. Victoria did all the 3D plans in order that my non-3 demential brain could see exactly what the space would look like, as well as the plans to submit for a permit. Guido and Victoria helped me pick and buy appliances, which is not easy these days. Every detail was handled including buying hardware. They even purchased for me so I got discounts. They created a three-ring binder that was a godsend for the contractor. They were my support system and I will never forget that without them, my gorgeous kitchen would never have happened. Grazie mille!

He has an eye for all the details that are essential in creating a warm and inviting space. Thank you Guido! Cindy/Carmel, Ca.

Thank you while introducing himself as Henry. When I told him what I was looking for (a bit overwhelmed at the size of the store), he very politely said, "let me show you where they are". We ended up finding the perfect farm sink with Henrys knowledge, professionalism, and kindness assisting me every step of the way. I would definitely recommend this showroom and a big thank you to Henry Hume for being so helpful and kind.

Even after politely saying I was just browsing, they'd continue shadowing me. It felt less like customer service and more like I was being watched for shoplifting. The knife sharpening disaster: Brought in 4 knives on a Saturday. When I greeted the owner, he completely ignored me and just stepped aside for an employee to ring me up. Already awkward. They said the knives would be ready Monday. Showed up Tuesday - not ready. "We'll call you when they're done." By Friday, still no call. Went in to pick them up anyway - no apology, just handed them over. When I got home and tried using them, I realized none of the knives had actually been sharpened. Not one. The pattern: After this experience, I checked their reviews and realized I'm not alone. Multiple people have complained about similar treatment and service issues. Bottom line: Overpriced merchandise, surveillance-style customer service, unreliable work, and zero accountability when they mess up. There are other options in Monterey for kitchen equipment - save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that values your business.
