A Murphy bed that could have been a real problem with some guests we were expecting. Anyways, in the years since, we love that closet like crazy, and the Murphy bed was eventually fixed. When we contacted them for a new closet closet in a new house, we found out that the problem we had with our Murphy bed several years ago was because our contact person had retired so our communications with them were not received. If I had known at the time it would have been an easy problem to solve. And to be sure, the experience our contact person brought to the job was what made the difference... drawers sized well and a display cabinet for some of my pretty things... more than enough space for shoes and dressing and a good use of the storage areas. She had ideas we'd never have had if we did it on our own (and which closet factory's competitors didn't address in their bids and suggestions). We will check to see if they've got another designer with as much experience, but the quality of their work (other than that one hiccup that got solved before our guests arrived), made for closets that my friends envied. And to be sure, when friends noticed a new member of our group was visiting my house, they'd insist that the new member get a home tour to include my closet! Seriously, my closets were so nice that friends wanted other friends to see it. It was kind of funny, but nice. And the way this closet lasted over the years (and helped sell the house once we were ready to move), is well worth a 5 star review!

Worked through this company here in Phoenix on three separate occasions. Found them through Costco…read more Initially did our master bedroom. Then the other three bedroom closets and then finished up with the laundry room. In every case, the designers were excellent to work with. The initial master bedroom has been the real problem. Initially 3 of the drawers in 1 section started to go delaminate or separate from the veneer or whatever coating is used on these. The delamination started with three drawers right in the middle of a cabinetry section. The company initially thought it was water damage, but could not locate any damage above or below the three drawers in the middle of the section. The person who came to do the assessment said it must be an assembly defect and The company was gracious enough to replace the drawers facing per their lifetime warranty. A follow up issue happened with the laundry basket below the drawers started to delaminate the same way as the drawers... However, on this encounter the company refused to replace it under their warranty program and claimed it was water damage. I assured the person on the phone that this facing on the laundry basket area aligned with the drawers just above it from the previous damage, but she insisted... Without seeing it and only through The use of photos that I sent her...... keep in mind that we've spent over $50,000 in cabinet services from them with all the rooms I spoke of earlier. They are now refusing to repair this laundry basket face. They are planning on charging us $165. obviously the price is not the issue... It's the principle of them not sticking behind their lifetime warranty. there are plenty of closet companies out there offering similar lifetime warranties. I would definitely look to another company besides closet factory. Our plans to continue closet work in the Casita as well as another property will not be done by this company. It is a shame that a company would lose a loyal customer of $165 It's just one person's humble opinion about a company. Save yourself a headache in the future and move on from the closet factory if they are one of your choices

The movers brought their own supplies despite being told to use mine (which were the same), and I did not authorize or request any additional materials--yet I was charged for them. About two hours into the job, they stated they were out of boxes, even though I still had boxes available. When I said it was okay for them to stop and leave at that time, they refused, stating there was a four-hour minimum, which directly contradicts the one-hour minimum listed on Thumbtack at the time of booking. In addition, Rosemarie provided information to me directly that later turned out to be untrue, which further added to the lack of transparency around the service and billing. Despite the job lasting under two hours, I was charged $747 for four hours, none of which was disclosed or agreed upon in advance. After raising these concerns, the company refused to offer any refund or adjustment. Based on the lack of transparency, misrepresentation of terms, refusal to stop at the requested time, and unwillingness to resolve the issue, I cannot recommend this company. PS...They boxed a cell phone in a box with knives and screws who packs like this!

Monty is terrible at returning phone calls or texts, we usually have to reach out to him two or three times before getting any response, if we get one at all. We hired Closet Masters to design and install our master closet, and they ended up installing the entire thing in the wrong color. The whole system had to be ripped out and redone, which was a major headache. To make things worse, one small section was damaged by our contractor, and we've now been waiting over two months just to have that single board replaced. At this point, Monty has stopped returning our calls and texts altogether. No one has sent me an invoice for the $150 board, nor have they sent our contractor an invoice. So we have no clue what is happening as no one is getting back to us... we are stuck waiting. Overall, the attitude from Closet Masters has been that they'll get to our project whenever it suits them... leaving us to wait indefinitely and hope they eventually finish the job. There's no sense of urgency, accountability, or customer service. We regret choosing Closet Masters and would not recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth or professional experience.
