Mindy came highly recommended from two close friends. My wife and I knew we wanted to visit Bora Bora and Mindy helped us plan the honeymoon of a lifetime. She introduced us to the island of Moorea as well and we couldn't have been more pleased. I'm typically not one to utilize a travel agent as I enjoy planning my own itineraries but I don't think I'll ever book a trip without Mindy again. I must also add that Covid-19 postponed this trip about 5 times. Mindy worked with me and my wife at all hours and weekends to ensure we were still scheduled. Prior to arrival, we were required to provide Tahiti with extensive documentation to allow us into the country. We saw people get turned away at the airport due to lack of documentation. Mindy worked with local contacts and travel boards and provided us with organized lists of everything we needed. This certainly is not the norm and likely is not the typical level of service you'd receive from any travel agency. Mindy was as excited for us to arrive in Tahiti for our honeymoon as we were and we felt like she was a part of our journey there. We received a beautiful bottle of champagne upon our arrival with a note from her which truly made it even more special. I'm not one to ever write reviews but Mindy deserves every word of it. If you're a trip planner like me or just want a hassle free, wonderful experience with the best recommendations possible, work with Mindy! read more

I contact Mindy a month before my April 2011 honeymoon. Although it was short notice, Mindy's service and professionalism was anything but short. Mindy is helpful, professional, experienced and has her clients best interests. She took the time to personally know husband and I. She was interested in our travel likes, dislikes and additional info, so she can create an itinerary for "US". Prior to contacting Mindy, I had one resort and date in mind. She was able to assist in the right direction on a resort more suited for my honeymoon plans and on a date that accommodated my budget. My husband and I were VERY happy with our honeymoon results. It was our own lil paradise. I recommended Mindy to my friends and will be contacting her for my future Rivera Maya's travels. read more

Mindy originally helped us plan a wonderful trip to Greece for June 2020; however, Covid caused us to change our plans. Due to the restrictions and our wishes, we decided to change our honeymoon destination and have it a year later. Mindy and her staff helped us change our plans, and gave us a few great options in the Caribbean. We ultimately decided on Antigua with her help. Her suggestion was to stay at Hermitage Bay, which was completely breathtaking. She even helped us upgrade to a beachfront room. It was truly a seamless operation due to Mindy, My Vacation Lady, and her staff. read more

I spoke with Mindy from My Vacation Lady in March of 2018 after being directed to her by an incredibly large number of my coworkers. At least 10-15 people where I work all raved about the outstanding vacations she booked for them! I called her to inquire about booking a honeymoon on a pretty tight budget. Even though she wasn't expecting my call, she jumped right into the challenge. Immediately, she was researching affordable flights, wracking her mind for the best resort deals of which she knew, etc. I also appreciated that she spoke to me honestly-- letting me know exactly what she thought would and would not be out of my price range. If you want to ensure you're getting the most for your money and not being upsold on packages, I feel confident you'll be in good hands with My Vacation Lady. After the initial consultation, she sent a detailed questionnaire to me and my fiancé. Afterwards, she scheduled another one-hour conversation to review our answers and present us with her recommendations. The amount of time and detail she put into getting to know us as a couple clearly illustrates that My Vacation Lady doesn't hawk the same packages at everyone. The trips they design are custom-made. I highly recommend using her for your travel needs. You won't be disappointed! read more

As soon as we started thinking about our honeymoon, we knew we wanted to use a travel agent so that the trip could be one less thing we needed to plan! Well, Mindy far exceeded the help I imagined she'd provide. When we spent over two hours consulting on the phone with Mindy, discussing our dream honeymoon, our likes and dislikes, and our budget, I knew Mindy would design an amazing trip for us. After our consultation, Mindy helped us narrow down our location to Costa Rica, which we had never even considered when thinking about our honeymoon. When Mindy sent us detailed Costa Rica itineraries to choose from, they were all so great it was almost impossible to pick! We never imagined we would be able to stay at the luxurious resorts she selected and experience the amazing excursions while still staying within our budget. Throughout the entire process Mindy was professional, thorough, and extremely responsive. I literally emailed her a million random questions (I wanted our honeymoon to be perfect!) and she always answered me within minutes. Even while on our honeymoon when we had a small issue during check-in, Mindy responded within minutes to help straighten things out. Our honeymoon in Costa Rica was AMAZING, the best time of our lives (second to the wedding day!) Mindy designed a split stay for us - 7 nights at a brand all-inclusive new resort on the beach in Guanacaste, and then 3 nights at one of the top resorts in the world in Arenal. The only negative aspect to our honeymoon was leaving! If you're looking for a stress-free, budget friendly, honeymoon planning process individual tailored to meet your desires and needs, Mindy is definitely the agent for you. read more

My Vacation Lady is the best! We just returned from a trip to Panama and can't stop talking about it! Mindy has planned five vacations for us over a ten year period. Her attention to detail is so valuable, as she often thinks of things that we would otherwise forget. I am so thankful to have booked my honeymoon with Mindy! She truly made the planning process stress-free and seamless. From our initial conference call with Mindy, my husband and I knew we were making the right decision. Mindy is extremely knowledgable, and offered great advice in helping choose the perfect location for us. I wanted a tropical experience, preferably with an overwater bungalow, while my husband was deadest on an all-inclusive to ensure a worry-free trip. We both wanted something relaxing, with great food and optional excursions (we're not big on nightlife). Mindy thoughtfully suggested Riveria Maya (a location we hadn't even considered) as a destination for us, as they just opened the first overwater bungalows in the area -- we couldn't have been happier with the suggestion! The trip was perfect!! My husband and I spent 7 days at a larger resort near great excursions and activities, and then transferred to the Palafitos of El Dorado Maroma for the last 3 days of our trip. The palafitos (overwater bungalows) were an absolute dream come true- from glass floors in each room, to a private pool, private ocean access, and two butlers (yes, butlers), we truly felt like royalty. Mindy also scheduled our private car transfers to/from the airport and resorts to make sure every aspect of our trip went smoothly. It was apparent that booking with Mindy had some great advantages too- at each resort, we had the best room possible (top floor, ocean front infinity suite at the first resort and then the bungalow at the end of the pier, facing the beach to watch sunsets every night at the Palafitos). Both resorts also offered a gourmet all-inclusive package with a great quality and variety of food. The entire trip all we kept saying to eachother was how much Mindy nailed our wishlist. She truly provided us with a once-in-a-lifetime experience!! Thank you, Mindy! We can't wait to book a future trip with your guidance and expertise! read more

It's been so fantastic working with Mindy! We called her a year ago to begin plans for our 25th anniversary trip to Maui for my husband, myself, my mother, our daughter, son-in-law and two small grandchildren. She was so very helpful with all her recommendations and before we knew it she had everything locked in for us for the trip of a lifetime! Then.....two months before we were to leave the coronavirus struck. Mindy was on top of everything from the get go and we rescheduled to October and then just recently again to May 2021. I can't imagine how difficult it would have been to redo all of these arrangements, not once but twice and it's been a dream having Mindy taking care of everything for us! We've never had to contact her to find out what's going on with the current travel arrangements and restrictions; she's always reached out to us first and is always quick to respond to emails and inquiries. Now, we're looking forward to celebrating our 26th anniversary in Maui and have Mindy to thank for it all! read more
