Lisa at Concordia Travel Center FAILED/NEGLECTED to tell me that we needed visas to travel on the vacation package she booked for us, and because of that, we were stuck 2 nights at the connecting flight location to obtain the required visa. This not only cost us additional hotel and travel expenses at the connecting flight location, but we also lost 2 nights of hotel at our original travel location, which was at about $1,000 per night, and we also had to pay an additional $800 for re-booking the connecting flight 2 days later. Then the joy of disputing charges through your credit card company begin! They will also book activities for you and then you'll arrive...the vendor will have no record of your booking whatsoever!! ScanAm travel (more like ScamAm) added undue stress and anxiety to our trip...and here we are almost 2 months later, still dealing with this headache!! They keep saying "your refund check is in the mail". As if this isn't enough, days before our departure to Norway they fired the travel agent that was handling our account. They never told us, never reached out to us, didn't transition us to a new agent, nothing! We had to find out from the former employee herself after blowing up her phone out of desperation for answers. Completely unprofessional. Tom (the owner) was zero help through the entire process. He couldn't have cared less about us a customer. This company will be out of business soon. Don't say I didn't warn you...

This is not enough to get my deposit back from them. They have now held my deposit for over a year and refuse to refund us. They are requiring me to get a lawyer to fight them for $1500 that could really help me and my family during this rough time. I will NEVER use a travel agent EVER again after this experience.
