Disappointed and dissatisfied, my laptop was stuck on automatic repair. The screen went completely…read moreblack, and I couldn't reset it or access recovery. After searching for a nearby repair store, I found this one. I took it in on a Thursday afternoon. The employee there was very professional and told me the repair would take about three days. I paid the initial service fee, and three days later, I received a call saying my laptop was ready. When I went to pick it up, I learned that it would have to be wiped clean. This meant I would lose all my saved documents since they had done a hard reset. I understood that, but when I arrived, I couldn't use the touchpad to move my mouse. (On the day I picked up my laptop, the "boss" was there.) He initially told me to use my wireless mouse. I told him I had one but didn't use it. He seemed slightly irritated because I was waiting around after paying for my fixed laptop, which now had an issue I didn't have before. I asked if I should walk around the store, and he said he would call me when it was ready. That was on a Sunday. Four days later, on Thursday, I went back when they called to say it was fixed. The employee there wanted to make sure I could log in and use the touchpad, so I left thinking I was satisfied. When I got home to prepare for a team meeting, I noticed the camera wouldn't work. I called the store, received no answer, but someone texted me back, and I decided to take my laptop back while heading to the store. During the trip, I received a call from the employee, who said his boss told him to call me. I explained that the camera wasn't working. The employee said they hadn't done anything to the hardware or software, just "whitewashed" it. When I mentioned that the camera software might have been wiped out, he responded with something smart. I told him to tell his boss that I'm not happy with the service and that I'd be writing a review. The employer then said, "Have a good day, ma'am," and hung up on me. Now immediately after, I received a text message. I felt the employer was rude and insensitive. I wasn't being unreasonable; I was just expressing my concern, and he hung up on me. Athens Ga in Walmart on Lexington Rd.
