Tonkotsu Ramen (spicy)
Meeko P.

I tried the Tonkotsu Ramen and ordered it spicy and yes this pork broth soup was spicy, the way I like it. It was also filled with plenty of noodles, that were a little over cooked. There was a good amount of sliced pork and other toppings nestled in the broth. I also enjoyed some Takoyak, octopus balls, though under cook inside they were some of the most delicious Takoyak that I have had with plenty of small chucks of octopus inside. Service was adequate and the place was kept clean. Over all I would recommend My Ramen for a decent bowl of Ramen and Takoyak.

I've only ever had this place when I've ordered it through Uber Eats but wow, it's delicious! I'm always impressed when restaurants are able to provide high-quality to-go orders as if they are prepared and served right there in house! I live over in Santa Rosa Beach, but I'm looking forward to venturing out of my bubble and visiting in person soon!

Black Garlic Ramen

Food was amazing, the service was good, the lady up front was super nice, and good ambiance. Would definitely go again

Staff: Very nice and welcoming. Greeted me with a smile and was very attentive. Environment: pretty cozy little spot, there use to be a pokee place there before and still looks very similar. Food: I ordered the black garlic ramen and the chicken karaage appetizer. I was kind of scared because the food was ready so quick. When I go to Pho Express (local spot) it still takes 10 - 15 minutes at least. It's perfect each time.....this however... - (Black Garlic Ramen).......bland bland bland. I saw a review on Yelp saying the same thing and I thought to myself there's no way that's possible. Well today I learned that is very much possible. It was bland, ramens broth is KEY to ramen. Without it it's nothing and this broth was terrible. Also the pork belly was dry. How? - (chicken karrage) nothing like the nuggets in the photo on the menu haha. I thought they'd be more like Taiwanese nuggets because that's what the photo looks like but I was wrong. The nuggets were ok I guess. They were very hot which I like but it was so hot it melted the plastic lid for the sauce. Overall: I just wasn't impressed, maybe one day I'll give it another shot but I've had better ramen from Walmart on the shelf.

Squid tentacles

Hoped for good things but was disappointed. First - the decor is bad. Like - Dollar General outfitted it. The Squid tentacles were too chewy to eat. The server/hostess was terrible and seemed somewhat annoyed. For a Ramen place they had ONE soy sauce dispenser for the entire restaurant. The ramen was very very bland. After we finished and we're waiting on a check there was only one other table in there waiting on food we saw the Kitchen put their appetizer out and watched her let it sit there for 15 minutes while she sat on her phone at the front desk. Won't be back.

I really wanted to like this place! I wasn't going to be swayed by the negative reviews, especially since the majority of them only posted negative reviews. We ordered the black garlic, tonkatsu and octopus balls. The black garlic had the most flavor but was still very bland. The tonkatsus only flavor profile was bamboo shoots. It was overwhelmingly terrible. The noodles were soggy. The two things they got right were the soft boiled eggs and the charshu pork, delicious!!! I grew up eating ramen in little Tokyo, Los Angeles. I also ate ramen all over Japan. What they serve is not ramen :( On a positive note, I did enjoy the octopus balls. Unfortunately, the service was very bad. The girl in the front was socializing with a non-customer who kept coming in and out. She was too preoccupied with her friend to be bothered with getting out order or checking in on us. She even got annoyed when we asked for plates so we could eat our appetizer. We will not be coming back.

Save your money! Black Garlic Ramen - Something so foul smelling in the ramen, it's horrible and smells rotten. I've lived in CA and visited Japan many times, this is not even OK. Spring rolls, all roll and not much filling and it's smushed, far from what it's claimed. Forgot the to-go utensils and send hot a bright red sauce with the spring rolls, I can't place the flavor and not at all flavorful nor familiar. I don't think a person even unfamiliar with the food would think the smell of the ramen was ok to eat.

Had to stop by to see for myself after seeing the reviews. Either the reviews are wrong or some things have changed. The ramen dishes we ordered were absolutely delicious! I had the Black Garlic Ramen and a friend ordered the Tonkotsu. Both very good but I preferred the Black Garlic broth flavor. Egg cooked perfectly and pork was amazing. Portion size was more than I expected and I am not complaining. It was pretty quiet inside during lunchtime, plenty of seating. Service was quick too. I would definitely go back to try other dishes.

I've been here twice and everything I've had was incredible. Medium spice black garlic ramen, best ramen I have had. Pork bun so tender and perfectly balanced with the soy bbq sauce. Highly recommend. They didn't have a yelp so I threw this up for the squad.

We ordered the Sake Maki rolls to start with. For $18 you would think the rolls would be larger. The pieces were small but, at least the salmon taste fresh and didn't smell fishy. Wife got the Nanbu Ramen which had a really sweet broth. We've had plenty of ramen all over the US and this one can be considered a dessert ramen with how sweet the broth was. The broth overpowered everything else and we couldn't overlook the sweetness. I got the Beef Bulgogi rice bowl. Nothing to rave about. Some of the meat was juicy and some were overcooked. The pickled cucumber and rice were the highlights of the dish. The kimchi and carrots did not bring anything to the table. Definitely a Japanese fusion place that needs a little bit more work. Left hungry and wanting more so we went and got Chicken nuggies from Mickey D's lol...

Atmosphere is great very good vibe we went on…read morea Saturday night and it was packed inside and out so I feel that reservations are a must at least on weekend nights. We ordered a round of drinks I got their old fashioned which was great! They also have a wagyu tallow inspired old fashioned as well, more on that here in a minute. Staff were super friendly and didn't keep us waiting. Inside seating is rather limited, but they do make up for that with what I'd say is a larger proportion outdoor seating. The tables and seating outside tho are done well and not like cheap patio furniture. The food; so there are a few other sushi/ Asian fusion places in the area but this one is a Strong contender!! The rolls were excellent if you would rather have the more traditional Nigiri or Sashimi they have those options as well. We had the spicy salmon and Mahi machi rolls and they were so delicious that we ordered another round!! Which brings me to the last item as we were too full to try any desert a friend and I did opt for the Wagyu tallow inspired old fashioned. While it was good it just seems to taste like the other original we had ordered. Perhaps there was a mixup or that was the intent, but the price didn't back up the difference which was more expensive. YMMV on that one but something to keep in mind. Bottom line is if you are in the 30A Rosemary beach area and craving sushi with some good vibes do not pass this place up!! We will be coming back!!
