AMAZING FOOD and SERVICE. Great quality, great price! I am critical when it comes to Asian food. The Thai food her won't disappoint; very authentic. The flavor and spice is very good (not sweet or salty; perfect). I absolutely love the papaya salad as well but inhaled it before taking a photo. :)

For the Thai side, all I had was tofu Tom Kha soup. I did have a special sushi roll with soft shell crab topped with filet mignon! I ate that bastard all on my own. Shouldn't have! Is a must-share. So filling Hot sake cos I had a sore throat! this is a beer and wine only. No liquor Need a return visit to try the typical Thai platters Located in walkable area on Beck ave in historic Saint Andrews area near the bay! Definitely stop at Burgunbarrel after for more wine and a cool vibe

Full disclosure, I'm not a big Thai food fan, but my wife wanted to try this place, so here we are. We started with the crab rangoon and dumplings, both were incredibly tasty and flavorful. I enjoyed the pork dumplings more. The rangoon didn't seem to have very much filling, but they were crispy and savory. We moved on to the soups ordering Miso and Wonton. The Miso soup was ok, but not as flavorful as my wife would have liked. The Wonton soup was a generous portion, packed with veggies and dumplings that satisfied my craving. Moving on to entrees, we ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and the chicken and vegetables with basil sauce. I wasn't a big fan of the sweet and sour shrimp. Although it was loaded with shrimp and vegetables, the sauce wasn't sweet at all. I didn't even eat my dish, because I couldn't get past the taste of the sauce - I couldn't tell if the shrimp was too fishy or if there was just too much vinegar in the sauce, but I knew I didn't like it. Again - I'm not a big Thai foodie, so maybe it's just me and my expectations for sweet and sour sauce shouldn't be paired with how it is at my favorite Chinese restaurant (Dragon Inn of Kansas City). My wife enjoyed her dish, it was well seasoned with tender bites of chicken. However, in my opinion, the real star of the meal was the house fried rice. It was a large, delicious portion of veggies and fried rice cooked to perfection. We both enjoyed our side dish and ate every bite. Hands down one of the best in town. I'd go back for the fried rice alone! The service was friendly and attentive - no complaints there. I'm sure Thai Basil is every bit worthy of a 4 or 5 star review as others have shared, but I'm stuck on the fact that I couldn't eat my dish, so 3 stars is all I can muster up for now.

I needed another Thai food fix while we're on our travels so while staying in Panama City Beach in our RV, we stopped at Thai Basil so I could get her to go order!!! The inside was not very large, but looked clean and comfortable. I ordered the drunken noodles.(again) flavor wise. These were more traditional than the last location I was at in Sarasota. Flavor was awesome not a ton of vegetables on there, but I did get the chicken which was tender and perfectly cooked. I also got the pan fried dumplings, which I'm gonna say are probably some of the best that I've tasted since moving from San Diego. And the crispy spring rolls which were also very good! They said it would be 15 minutes, but it was more like 25 but I'm not gonna take a star off for that because it looked kind of crowded on the inside.... If we lived in the area, this would definitely be a regular stop for me on a weekly basis lol.

The food is authentic and amazing. Real Thai not some Chinese fusion. Great service.

Worst absolute service in the entire world. This server right here in the blue shirt was extremely rude from the very beginning. Extremely slow, it took 45 mins for our server to come take our order and took over two hours to be fully served. I do not recommend going to this place...food wasn't even good. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Went here from out of town with my family. When we walked in we immediately were hit with a smell of mold. I went into the restroom and on the way there was black mold everywhere. The floorboards, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. We ended up leaving immediately and told the other customers and the manager acted like she did not care about the situation. It was disgusting and I would not recommend going here.

(If you have ever had this dressing it is a burst of flavor!) My husband picked up the order and asked if the two dressings were in the bag. The girl said yes everything was in there because she bagged it up and checked. So my husband gets home and opens the "salad" and there basically is no salad, it's beef, cucumbers, onions, and tomatoes drowning in the dressing. There wasn't any lettuce and everything in the container was soggy!! My husband called and addressed the issue, they said they would make him another one or refund him BUT he had to bring the "salad" back. As much as an inconvenience this was, we were less than 10 minutes away so we took it back. When we got there my husband said there were other unhappy customers inside complaining about their meals/experience as well. They remade his salad and gave him some Eggrolls for his inconvenience. We get home with the new salad and it's someone else's dinner!!!!!! Someone is missing their fried rice and beef stir fry with carrots, broccoli, and cabbage!!! At this point I'm aggravated and ready to eat my other food that has been getting cold. My husband said he wasn't calling or going back again a third time. The food and the experience has gone way downhill since they opened 6 years ago.

We ordered a round of drinks I got their old fashioned which was great! They also have a wagyu tallow inspired old fashioned as well, more on that here in a minute. Staff were super friendly and didn't keep us waiting. Inside seating is rather limited, but they do make up for that with what I'd say is a larger proportion outdoor seating. The tables and seating outside tho are done well and not like cheap patio furniture. The food; so there are a few other sushi/ Asian fusion places in the area but this one is a Strong contender!! The rolls were excellent if you would rather have the more traditional Nigiri or Sashimi they have those options as well. We had the spicy salmon and Mahi machi rolls and they were so delicious that we ordered another round!! Which brings me to the last item as we were too full to try any desert a friend and I did opt for the Wagyu tallow inspired old fashioned. While it was good it just seems to taste like the other original we had ordered. Perhaps there was a mixup or that was the intent, but the price didn't back up the difference which was more expensive. YMMV on that one but something to keep in mind. Bottom line is if you are in the 30A Rosemary beach area and craving sushi with some good vibes do not pass this place up!! We will be coming back!!

Big and small fire pits and chairs on the sand for those who want that, as well as a big open-air deck with a lot of tables. It's hard not to have a good experience in this setting. Seafood and sushi are their main offerings, though there are several steaks and other plates that will serve the non-fish people well. They've got a number of great looking apps, so you have variety for sure. We tried the trio of dips with cucumber and pita bread. I wish one of them hit it out of the park, but none did. The smoked feta was way smoked and too rich, while the guac option and the edamame option were nothing special. We'll try something else next time. The steak salad came was over-dressed... give the patron the dressing on the side to let them choose the right amount. The ravioli special came with two large pieces of grouper and, while slightly over cooked, contributed to dish with a lot of different tastes that went well together. In terms of drinks, the only NA offering is one Athletic lager ... please lean in on that and bring some more creativity to the NA cocktail and NA beer list. All said, though, it was a good meal and we'll come back with visitors to the area to share the place with others.

So we placed an order online through their website, which went through SmileDining. Upon ordering, I was told it would be 15 minutes, and 23 minutes after that, I got an email that it was ready for pickup. When I arrived a couple of minutes later, it was indeed ready. Since I was in and out quickly, I didn't get to see much of the restaurant, but I did notice they had both a bar and a seating area. For dinner, I went with the basil stir fry at spice level 3 and chose chicken as my protein. My wife went with the green curry at spice level 1 and also picked chicken. My entrée was described as basil, carrots, onion, sweet chili, bamboo shoots, mushroom, green bean, and green onion. My wife's was described as eggplant, bamboo shoots, green bean, onion, sweet chili, carrots, and basil. I ended up enjoying my meal quite a bit, especially the sauce on the stir fry, which had a strong basil flavor. All of the vegetables made it feel healthy, which I appreciated. Even though I picked a spice level of 3, I thought it was pretty spicy. It wasn't blow-my-head-off spicy, but it was definitely more than I expected. My wife also enjoyed her meal, though she had the same comment I did about the spice. And she only ordered a 1! The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. While our meals were spicier than expected, I love spicy, and I thought that my meal was enjoyable.
