AMAZING FOOD and SERVICE. Great quality, great price! I am critical when it comes to Asian food. The Thai food her won't disappoint; very authentic. The flavor and spice is very good (not sweet or salty; perfect). I absolutely love the papaya salad as well but inhaled it before taking a photo. :)

Full disclosure, I'm not a big Thai food fan, but my wife wanted to try this place, so here we are. We started with the crab rangoon and dumplings, both were incredibly tasty and flavorful. I enjoyed the pork dumplings more. The rangoon didn't seem to have very much filling, but they were crispy and savory. We moved on to the soups ordering Miso and Wonton. The Miso soup was ok, but not as flavorful as my wife would have liked. The Wonton soup was a generous portion, packed with veggies and dumplings that satisfied my craving. Moving on to entrees, we ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and the chicken and vegetables with basil sauce. I wasn't a big fan of the sweet and sour shrimp. Although it was loaded with shrimp and vegetables, the sauce wasn't sweet at all. I didn't even eat my dish, because I couldn't get past the taste of the sauce - I couldn't tell if the shrimp was too fishy or if there was just too much vinegar in the sauce, but I knew I didn't like it. Again - I'm not a big Thai foodie, so maybe it's just me and my expectations for sweet and sour sauce shouldn't be paired with how it is at my favorite Chinese restaurant (Dragon Inn of Kansas City). My wife enjoyed her dish, it was well seasoned with tender bites of chicken. However, in my opinion, the real star of the meal was the house fried rice. It was a large, delicious portion of veggies and fried rice cooked to perfection. We both enjoyed our side dish and ate every bite. Hands down one of the best in town. I'd go back for the fried rice alone! The service was friendly and attentive - no complaints there. I'm sure Thai Basil is every bit worthy of a 4 or 5 star review as others have shared, but I'm stuck on the fact that I couldn't eat my dish, so 3 stars is all I can muster up for now.

For the Thai side, all I had was tofu Tom Kha soup. I did have a special sushi roll with soft shell crab topped with filet mignon! I ate that bastard all on my own. Shouldn't have! Is a must-share. So filling Hot sake cos I had a sore throat! this is a beer and wine only. No liquor Need a return visit to try the typical Thai platters Located in walkable area on Beck ave in historic Saint Andrews area near the bay! Definitely stop at Burgunbarrel after for more wine and a cool vibe

I needed another Thai food fix while we're on our travels so while staying in Panama City Beach in our RV, we stopped at Thai Basil so I could get her to go order!!! The inside was not very large, but looked clean and comfortable. I ordered the drunken noodles.(again) flavor wise. These were more traditional than the last location I was at in Sarasota. Flavor was awesome not a ton of vegetables on there, but I did get the chicken which was tender and perfectly cooked. I also got the pan fried dumplings, which I'm gonna say are probably some of the best that I've tasted since moving from San Diego. And the crispy spring rolls which were also very good! They said it would be 15 minutes, but it was more like 25 but I'm not gonna take a star off for that because it looked kind of crowded on the inside.... If we lived in the area, this would definitely be a regular stop for me on a weekly basis lol.

I really like this quaint little Thai food restaurant near the beach. It has turned into quite the local hotspot as we have emerged from lockdown. I usually get the pineapple chicken and shrimp. This dish is a floor explosion! The peppers and onions really add a nice kick. I also like the portions sizes the offer and how hearty their meals are. They also have a pretty good craft beer selection. I like that they serve most of the beer the offer in pints. Restaurants like this make trips to Panama City worthwhile.

The food is authentic and amazing. Real Thai not some Chinese fusion. Great service.

Worst absolute service in the entire world. This server right here in the blue shirt was extremely rude from the very beginning. Extremely slow, it took 45 mins for our server to come take our order and took over two hours to be fully served. I do not recommend going to this place...food wasn't even good. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

The server shared with me what they were famous for and gave me some great recommendations. I had the fried wontons for an appetizer. They were so good. They were crispy on the outside but full of chicken on the inside. My lunch entree was the shrine Pad Thai. All I can say is WOW!! Everything in this dish jumped out at you. From the flavorful noodles to the juicy shrimp, nothing disappointed from start to finish. This is definitely a go to on my list. If you want fresh, flavorful food that isn't commercial, get her tomorrow!!!

I have decided to pity this place and give them 3 stars rather than the 2 I feel that they deserve,…read moremostly because they were quite busy and apparently had a lot of online orders. We arrive at 5:30 on a Tuesday. At the time of being seated, less than half of the tables were full. There was only one waitress for the entire restaurant, and despite the restaurant being mostly empty when we sat down, she took at least 10 minutes to bring us our drinks (which she got wrong the first time around). As an appetizer, we ordered the special Takoyaki which was squid stuffed balls of rice. We did not finish these on account of they were bad. It took at least 20 minutes for our food to arrive after ordering, and my partner's father was served his food well before my partner and I were given ours. My partner ordered the Bangkok Chicken which was decent, and I ordered the Chicken Lomein which was not great. In my whole entire dish, there were 2 tiny pieces of broccoli and there were not any other vegetables, which was disappointing. Also - not necessarily her fault, but since the kitchen was so behind and the one waitress was covering the whole restaurant, they had someone from the back running food and drinks out to tables and it was very clearly her first time doing this. She got drinks wrong multiple times, handed us a to-go box that was leftover from the dirty table behind us, and all around was just clearly not trained to be waitressing. It was an unfortunate situation, but because of that, the service was just painful.

It has a full bar but we didn't take advantage of that due to the driving we had planned and 98 can get busy. We were greeted by the person that was our server, apparently it is a family business and he may be one of the owners because he did a great job like it was his own business AND with a smile We opted for the Pad Thai and the Pad Kee Mao that comes with a salad and one crispy vegetable Spring Roll that is 2die4 The salad dressing is just out of this world and is very light but it hits the spot like a thunder and wakes up your taste buds for the duration of the indulgence, I left no dressing on my plate, I didn't want any of it to go to waste We ordered an appetizer, you guessed, pork Spring Rolls that came out piping hot and beautifully decorated like every dish that comes out of that kitchen, reminds me of a Peruvian restaurant in Raleigh. Flavor was on point and matched the size. The entrees were absolutely delicious, it is a slightly different flavor than the traditional Thai but still very good.
