Also, this is the only private christian school in north texas to offer something like the Eagle Success center that can really provide academic programs suited for true gifted and talented children (not just academically advanced) as well as programs for learning differences. And the Smart labs are second to none. Check it out - you won't regret it!

As a proud member of the unofficial Special Staff, I can confirm that Levine Academy is filled with…read moresome truly special people. Everyone here is specially gifted in their own unique way and the teachers aren't just teachers -- they're specialists. The smaller teacher-to-student ratio means students receive an incredible amount of individual attention, support and encouragement. The extra care given to each child is obvious from the moment you walk through the doors. And yes, with that level of care and attention to detail-- things occasionally involve thoughtful discussions, careful planning, another meeting and perhaps one more meeting just to discuss the previous meeting's findings. Excellence takes time specifically in this Special Environment. Of course, no review would be complete without mentioning Sal the Stallion, lovingly known by some as "Special Sal," proudly representing a community that's not afraid to celebrate what makes everyone unique. A great logo made by someone especially gifted! Five stars for the staff, the students, the families and the wonderfully special community they've built together. ¡L'Chaim! Long story short, I always looked for Jesus and wasn't raised in a religious family. The Heights,…read moreat the time, truly seemed accepting at first. During a long, hard divorce, where we tried to keep our kids invested in their church, my kid's youth mentor told my child "I'm so sorry you have a mother like yours." She was heartbroken. And refuses to return. None of us are prefect, but I'm private and only one side was heard. Grace wasn't given, love needed to be earned. This church was the final straw and after decades of me searching for God, this Church taught our family that Faith comes from us and not a building full of judges. My kid saw it before I ever did. And that's heartbreaking. Since we left...we coparent and our kids are thriving without having to meet so many moral expectations. So maybe the heights saved us in the end.

As a volunteer, the staff treats you with respect and like you're a family member-after all, the program only survives on volunteers for classes to assist the instructor in each class. Ellie is the volunteer coordinator and she is so easy to talk to and makes it easy to communicate with her via text/email! She and everyone there make a point to thank you every time you come in too! Why do they need volunteers for class? Well, As many as 3 volunteers could surround and support a beginner or riders with more emotional or physical needs by holding them in the saddle, maybe just putting a hand on their leg so they know they are safe, etc.... While maybe 1 volunteer would be used for an experienced rider to simply lead the horse. I can't say enough about this place!
