There have been instances where the process took my child 15 mins and others where she would linger for 45 mins or so. The staff here is always friendly and they take time to listen to their little clients. On a few occasions, including yesterday's recent visit, Ms. Emma was the employee to assist and interacted with my toddler. I appreciate her creating conversations, being patient, and uplifting my child during the entire process. Slime creating is a bit costly but the fun and confidence my child has when she exits the establishment is well worth it.

I have known Rachael Cruz of Team Cruz Productions for nearly 14 years. In our local community,…read moreRachael has a remarkable reputation for pulling off the most impressive, thoughtful and fun events. It was without hesitation that I hired Rachael to be my partner in crime to plan my brother's wedding rehearsal dinner for 50 guests - which I was hosting. I wanted to be actively involved with the planning and execution - but with work and family, I also didn't want to be too stressed. Working with Rachael, I was able to strike the right balance. I hired Rachael for a set amount of hours for her expertise in creating a cohesive look and feel, as well as design and production of key pieces of collateral. LOCATION & CONTRACT I had already decided on the location and signed a contract with the restaurant for a private dining room before I hired Team Cruz Productions. Because Rachael has such deep experience with events in our area, she was very familiar with other events at the same venue. The truly impressive part is that Rachael successfully renegotiated my contract minimums, thereby saving me $500. The restaurant manager has only had complimentary comments about Rachael and told me that "she is very detailed and REALLY knows what she is doing." COLLABORATION Rachael and I worked together to pull off this event. We started by sharing a Pinterest board. She found themes from everything I pinned and narrowed down a color palette, centerpiece idea and general look & feel for the graphic design pieces. We went to the flower mart together and she showed me exactly what to buy to pull together the centerpieces I had envisioned (or, as Pinterest had envisioned for me!). DELIVERABLES A distinct skill that Rachael brings is graphic design. This really helps streamline the event planning process because it eliminates another vendor - and because she is working directly with you, her client - there is nothing to get lost in translation. Rachael custom designed the invitation, menu cards, name tags, favor bag and greeting poster for us. She handled all professional printing. Because I wanted to be involved in some of the work, I got out my glue gun and assembled the name tags. COMMUNICATION Rachael communicated with me constantly throughout the planning process. She knows that I get busy with work and family, so when we were up against deadlines, she would text me reminders. She also texted me on the day of the event and followed up the day after. She takes great interest in you and your event and her customer service shows that. I am already trying to come up with another reason to throw a party just so I can work with Rachael again!

She made sure to include BOTH kids in the planning and put together a truly spectacular event. The adults couldn't stop talking about what a great time they had, how beautiful it was and how well organized. Rachael made sure that all guests were taken care of at the party, no matter what their individual dietary needs. It was truly flawless and I was able to relax and enjoy myself without a care in the world. Before the party, Rachael put together gorgeous hotel welcome bags and her creativity is endless. She designed an amazing logo for the two kids that we were able to use on everything from the invitations to the centerpieces. She even figured out a way to get it onto the light fixtures in the ballroom, which was a lovely surprise for us when we arrived. She found the perfect centerpiece idea and helped us implement it. All the vendors she suggested were also wonderful to work with. If I was having a second mitzvah in my family, I would definitely hire Rachael again.

They color coordinated everything in beautiful shades of beige and pink. As a bonus, they even added teddy bears all around the soft play area! We had the 12ft x 12ft Soft Play Area. The little toddlers were having a blast. They played in the ball pit, jumped on small bounce house, climbed everywhere, and went down the mini slide. You can hear their giggles and laughter across the room. As for the ballon drop, it was exactly what we inspired it to be. I would say one of the most affordable places compared to the other quotes around the area. Needless to say, it was a very popular photo area and added that extra touch we needed. The setup was about 90 minutes before the actual event time. Everything was beautiful. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Dear Ms. Rowley: Your company contracted to cater my…read morehusband's 60th Surprise Birthday for September 18th, 2016. I fulfilled my monetary obligation according to the contract and you did not. According to the contract (which I enclosed) my event started at 11:00am and food was to be served starting at 12:30pm, dropped off at 12. Food was not served until 1:45pm (1 hour and 15 mins late) and it was only served at that time because my sister and I had to help set up and put the food out. Not part of the contract. We had to help because the servers arrived late at 1:00pm with nothing ready and did not have the proper equipment. The food they brought still needed to be prepared, warmed up, plated and put into chaffing dishes. (Per our discussion and follow up email, this was to be handled differently.) I ordered appetizers and they were to be passed at 12:30pm. The servers did not have the appetizers ready to go nor did they have plates to put them on. When the servers finally did arrive, they were preparing the appetizers. I had to stop them and tell them it is way past lunch time and they should be getting the buffet going since people were hungry. They started to work on preparing the lunch buffet with my sister (who was my guest!) while I quickly put out my 3pm snacks that I had prepared, so the guest would have something to eat. Next I got my utensils and prepared the buffet. While in the kitchen; the servers were warming up food and putting it into the chaffing dishes. My sister assisted with the getting the salad out and I helped to get the food out once it was warmed up. You were to provide a tablecloth but did not and there were not enough utensils. The food was horrible, no one enjoyed it and they left the food on their plate. There was so much food left over! The food the servers brought was nothing like you described in the contract, the company's catering menu and website. The servers where actually embarrassed by the food and the terrible situation you put them into. You know this is true because they were texting the contact left and right about all the issues they were having. Per the contract: I was to have BBQ chicken, not boiled chicken thighs with barbeque sauce thrown on top after the chicken was warmed up in the microwave. The chicken arrived in Ziploc bags and the servers had to warm it up, did not arrive in chaffing dishes as you stated in your email. Enclosures: Pictures with descriptions Email chain of timeline and process Contract Agreement Grilled Lemon Salmon, was oven baked salmon in foil,- It arrived in individual pieces cooked in foil, the servers had to unwrap pieces of salmon, warm them up. They had no spices, herbs, or garnishes. It did not arrive in chaffing dishes you stated in your email. Chili beans looked like they were from a can, not like what explained and what your show on your website. Green Salad was from a bag and in a plastic bowl, not like what you have on your website. Salad dressing- only 1 bottle for 100ppl, which was already opened and half way empty. A leftover opened salad dressing, not refrigerated is a violation of a health code. One server had to leave to go to the store when they were already and hour late to get more salad dressing and paper plates because there were not enough paper plates to start serving lunch, this delayed the lunch further. Watermelon- Not sliced, it was cube and soggy, tasted terrible, no one ate it. Passed appetizers, not served at 12:30 as contracted, they were plated by 3:00pm on my plates and put on the buffet. Deviled eggs, arrived not stuff, the egg whites were so flimsy your server threw half of them away, she told me she could not serve them, they were not acceptable. Bruschetta did not have a spread, they needed to be warmed up because the bread was stale and there were no garnishes. - refer to pictures I included of how it should have looked per your website. Quiche, there was not enough for 100ppl and it had to be warmed up. According to your contract and your emails it is evident that you did not provided the service and product that was agreed upon. I included pictures from your website which you told me to look at to get an idea of the food I would receive for my husband's 60th surprise birthday. The appetizers should have been plated and ready to be passed at 12:30pm and lunch was to be served at 1:00pm. That is what was discussed more than once verbally and communicated through email. The food should have been prepared properly so it would be tasty, look appealing and reflect the contract.
