This was our 5th stay in 3 years. It appears to have changed ownership a couple of times, but…read morethings still seem to be operating pretty well with a few changes recently. They have simplified the entrance/exit making it easier to come and go. The pool was in great shape this time. But the splash pad is not turned on yet. I did see where they added new jump pads, one normal size and one huge! This is right next to a new zip line and the kids seem to love both. I decided to splurge on one of their deluxe patio sites since this was my birthday/Father's day present. We got a very nice site back in the BOONDOCKS area which is a nice secluded area not too far from everything else. It does have a nice shower that is ADA compliant, but my only suggestion would be to put a handicap sign up so more abled people can use the others first. Since I was splurging this week, we did take advantage of firewood and ice delivery and they were quick and courteous. I did have an opportunity to reach out for help with their management when an unexpected storm came through. We have a pop up that once you setup and put out the awning, its difficult to get down in a hurry. I used their text number and requested a small step ladder to help me get the awning down and they quickly responded. That was a big help. All in all it was a great stay. My only real issue is with reserving a deluxe patio site, some have propane grills and others have charcoal grills and I don't think you know till you get there, so we had to run our for charcoal.

We drove 2.5 hours…read more The pool and splash pad not open and we didn't find out until arriving,(closed for a few weeks so it could be replaced). Our site was nicely furnished but no shade/trees. The wagon ride was cancelled on Saturday with out a notice. We walked on the trail with the kids but it smelled terrible like sewage and there are no trail markers so we had to back track a few times. One trail took us to a house. The sun catcher paint event was not well put together. They were gone in 1 minute and not enough paint for everyone. Walked to feed the animals and didn't realize it cost a quarter to feed. Absolutely no cash on us. And we lost a headlamp we bought in the store, went to buy another the morning we left and told we were not allowed in the store and it was closed for an emergency. For the amount of money we paid just expected a little more being the holiday weekend. Don't see us coming back. Likes: bathrooms were nice, kids liked playground and jump pad, the paddle boat and life jackets, patio furniture at our site.

That said you pay a hefty price so there should be some good "free" stuff to enjoy. We were in a fairly big lot for a pull through space. The pool was jampacked until Sunday morning. That was when we decided to visit it. There seems to be a lot of seasonal campers that are catered to. That is the first place we've stayed at that had a full bar! There is a small kitchen that does some great pizzas and chicken wings. Thursday through Sunday the kitchen is utilized for breakfast and lunches as well.

I even have people still commenting how how good even the salad was, and that was the most basic part of our menu! There were no leftovers for sure!! They have such amazing options and they made our day run so smoothly! The butlers even came outside to offer us some of the hors d'oeuvres:) I know usually the bridal party doesn't get to eat much!! The bar had wonderful options of draft beer and I was told that it was so cold and refreshing and even the basic bud light tasted better than usual...lol Any issues that did arise were handled very well and the wedding was a success!! Alisha was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had. She and her staff were wonderful to work with!! I would recommend this venue 100% to anyone who wants a beautiful location and venue!! I can't forget to mention that the food and drink minimums were far less than many other places we checked out in and around the Central Ohio area!! He locked me out of the portal to book tee times when people weekly dont show up for their golf scheduled. I have the voicemail he left me if anyone would like to hear the way he talks to his members. Ive been double charged the last 2 months and he will not refund my credit card and Im out $1500 right now. Ive asked 3x for help and he holds a grudge against people. Save your money go to Wyandot, bent tree, or somewhere else for $40 and save your money. If this is how upper management will allow their so called managers to run a private club, you are wasting your money Let's talk food, Ive never had a carry out meal come as ordered. Good luck getting food also within 30-45 minutes of when you order. Last time we sat down I dont think drinks came out for 10-15 minutes when I was entertaining and food at least a half hour after. Id suggest saving your money and going to a profession operation like The Lakes or Medallion who actually cares about the member and the experience. I hope this just is enough to make sure you are aware before signing up and spending your hard earned money. Spend a little more and go somewhere you feel good and have good people around you

Giving 4 stars because the spa pool was only open from 3-8 when it was supposed to be open from 10-8 every day we camped. Once it opened, it was packed and not always enjoyable. Also, this lake could really use a good skimmer; the bottom was full of leaves and muck, unlike the Jellystone Campground at Mammoth Cave. We loved the shows and all the camp decorations for the Hulu event. We will be back, I just hope the pool will be open more hours.
