They've taken great care of all three generations of our cats. Kind compassionate and caring.

Vista Veterinary hospital - My pup at ease in the exam room.

This was my first visit with my newest addition, Evie I was so pleasantly surprised and pleased…read morewith our experience. The staff was extremely helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. I felt confident in leaving her with them while they took care to clean up and stitch her wound. I have now made this my primary vet when I'm on the Cape, which is often.

I've heard nothing but good things about Vista Veterinary Hospital and I understand why; the care,…read moreservice, and facility are the best I've experienced when it comes to the well being of my pets. The people there are great. They're all at ease which helps keep our pups at ease. They're professional. They take time to get to know your pets and to speak with you to ensure you know what's all going on. There are chairs in the exam room for us but none for the clinical team. When they come in, including Dr. Todd, they get down on the floor to meet their patients eye-to-eye on their level. There isn't even an exam table; it's hidden away like a Murphy bed. All of these things helped our pups stay calm throughout the entire visit. Today I was blown away by their service. We were faced with a shortage of meds and the team there went above and beyond my expectations...but it seems it's just 'what they do'. They have processed in place to resolve issues with east for folks in my situation. What they do is far greater than any other vet we've used. The clinic itself it the cleanest and most well maintained I've been in. I've seen a few clinics over the years so this says a lot. I'd go so far to say it looks as great as it did when they opened their doors two years. Would I recommend Vista Vet? Absolutely!

We knew before we traveled to MV that our senior black Lab, Molly, was having some serious issues…read more When they flared up again after we arrived on the island, we brought her to Dr. Dunnigan. Molly was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer, and Dr. Dunnigan helped us make decisions on her treatment. We cannot thank her enough. We were walk-ins to her practice during the busy month of July, yet she patiently answered our questions, and treated us and Molly with gentleness and compassion, as if Molly had been her patient forever. The staff there also recognized our sadness and treated us so kindly. We highly recommend Dr. Dunnigan and the Vineyard Veterinary Clinic.

If I could leave zero star I would. The staff at 276 vineyard veterinary clinic are extremely rude…read moreand unprofessional. because of them my poor puppy was placed at risk!! And To add to the insult they charged me $102 for anesthesia! After I stop them from going forward with with the dogs procedure. I find it strange that they kept reminding me how much I paid for the dog, (both verbally and written) base on a receipt amount on the dogs informational packet, because I ask about the available funding awarded to pet owners for spaying dogs. Cathy the receptionist said I would have to have that gift receipt months! Ahead she then went on to say" more over your dog is a purebred" implying that I shouldnt be asking about any award/funding. I do not know Cathy from a whole in the wall, she does not know my past or current situation or whether or not the money used for the dog was a gift. Besides, it's none of her business but she made it her business. when I told them I don't want them to work on my dog they told me there is only one other vet on the island that neuter/spay dogs. I spoke to a Dr Williams who stated to me in a phone conversation that he was the owner, apparently he didn't come on the phone to apologize or to make nice he just wanted the rights to the show they were putting on. as I tried to explain to him the manor in which his staff spoke to me he didn't want to hear what I had to say he kept yelling on the phone "do you want us to continue with the procedure or not? As a tried to stop him to explain the concern, he kept yelling on the phone"do you want me to wake up your dog or what? I then told him yes! Wake her up because at that point I did not trust them with my pet. I told them I will take her elsewhere. I reviewed my dogs documentation and have noted, that these people, again, made mention in the documents the cost of the dog. Once more, assuming my circumstances. This guy as well as his staff was So unprofessional!! While talking to Bridget Dunningan by the receptionists station and reiterating how rude the staff was to me, both receptionist who appears to be grandmothers sat there giggling like two school girls. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemies. I have coworkers who have dealt with this clinic and agreed how rude and disrespectful they all are, and have taken their pets elsewhere.

From the front desk staff to Dr Elizabeth Murdock this is by far the very best care your fur baby…read more(pet) will ever receive. They truly care for every patient (pet) that comes through the door!! Their upfront and concise communication and compassion is superior. Mizzou, our 17 year old cat, truly loves her visits with Dr Murdock and her staff. She gets compliments, extra snuggles and gentle loving scratches. Honestly, my husband, me and Mizzou trust the staff here and we know they will do all they can to keep Mizzou healthy and pain free. Highly recommend East Bay Animal Hospital!

Sadly, we had to bring our senior pet to be put to sleep as she had developed serious health issues…read moreand was in pain. East Bay Animal Hospital was able to give us a same day appointment. When we arrived, we were able to park in the lot behind the building, and there is a ramp leading up to the entrance. The waiting room is clean and spacious, with separate spaces for dogs and cats. Animals are required to be leashed or in a carrier. We were treated with kindness by the veterinarian and technicians, and the room we were placed in was also clean. The veterinarian treated our pet very nicely and everything went smoothly. I would recommend this practice to anyone needing end of life care for their pet, and the only reason I am giving them 4 stars rather than 5 is that the cost of this service was much higher than expected. In fact, it would have been less expensive for us to go to a 24 hour emergency veterinary office. Otherwise, the kindness and care we received here was excellent.
