My dog has had one rabies shot in the past , and had a bad reaction. She has received an exemption from our vet clinic. Dr Holt has argued with me on multiple occasions trying to tell me exemptions aren't covered in a public place, they're only for your vets office, which is completely untrue. I had spoken with the city of Holyoke's dog registration office, I have spoken with Vetco corporation and both have told me it is allowed. It is under MA law (Section 145B) that if you have a written exemption from your veterinarian than it is as acceptable as having the shot and she is allowed in public places. I'm only trying to protect my dog. I had called Vetco and complained about her. They wrote it in a note on my file that it is allowed and my dog is able to be seen. I complained about this vet and she did not like it apparently because the last time I booked an appt and waited in line, she then tells me she is refusing to see me and that I'm still incorrect regardless of pointing out the law and showing her my exemption. This lady was extremely rude and should have consequences for her actions.
