We reserved a "special" extra large premium area so they could be together along with their own bedding and toys. We got home a day early and stopped in to pick them up. They told us to wait out front while they got them but I followed them in anxious to see my "babies" They were in small individual cages well apart from each other, wet, and no bedding or toys. To top it all off, these people had the audacity to try and charge us full price saying that they had only been moved temporarily while their original place was being cleaned. Problem was, I passed by their enclosure I had rented and reserved and there were other dogs in there. Next trip we brought our dogs to Cape Veterinary in Yarmouth. Beautiful place, clean and they took wonderful care of our pets.

He apparently escaped through a door her two large dogs opened. I snatched up the dog who was still there wet and shivering on the table while she looked for the one who got away. My 9 lb dog was lost for 7 nights before he was safely caught by the Animal Control officer in a havahart trap. I owe many thanks to the local people who were so kind and responded to my flyer asking for help in finding my dog. We were very lucky to get him back and hope you heed this bad review. In the 7 days I searched for my dog I heard nothing but bad things about this woman. She is well known on the cape. I don't want anyone else to have to go through what we and our dog went through. I didn't want to insult the woman in charge, so I left my cats with her for the afternoon to get groomed. Worst decision of my life. I got a call an hour later saying that one if my cats, who was disabled, was being unruly and not letting Carlotta groom her. I said that was fine, just leave her alone and don't stress her out. When I went to pick them up, the worst had happened and my one cat was dead in the carrier I brought her in and my other cat was cowering in a back room, half groomed. I don't know what she did to have killer my cat -- whether she did something directly to subdue it or it was simply scared to death. She clearly cannot handle animals and was too rough with them. She also had her two huge dogs out which obviously would have stressed and scared my cats. I don't know what she was thinking and I wish more than anything I had trusted my gut when I first got there and never left my cats with her. NEVER bring your animals here.

Once caught in the lie, she back peddled and claimed to just be overwhelmed. Told me she'd be giving me a refund for the sessions she no showed and those I'd paid for in advance. Started seeing massive delays in her response time, got a bunch of sob stories as to all the things going on in her life explaining why she couldn't pay me back, got the inkling that I was going to get ripped off, and only after saying I'd be escalating and insisting upon at least a payback plan did she attempt to make things right. Got 2 small installments back via Venmo, and then big surprise! Nothing. Followed up in text messages. Followed up on FB. Such a shame. I will still be escalating because hey- you shouldn't rip people off. It's just that simple.
