My kids have bad experience with one of Pediatric assistance who is caucasian. They have been…read morehaving same time appoints for a few years and each of them would have the same assistance for each appointment. For the past few cleaning appointments, my older kid have been complaining about how painful it is for the cleaning. In the mean time, my younger kid has never had any complain with the asian assistance. I have been given the staff the benefit of doubt since I know my kid isn't doing good job of brushing, could just have sensitive gum. After two of those visits, I started to pay more attention to the assistance. She seems very serious every time we see her. My explanation for her is that she might just be tired since we always have late afternoon time. In the mean time, I told my boy to do better brush and floss before next visit so I can be sure that he wasn't the issue. The last visit, my younger kid had the Caucasian and older boy had the Asian. I was with my younger kid first. In the middle of cleaning, my younger kid asked the Caucasian, "Can you please be gentler?", She responded "I can't, I have to get the cleaning done!" . I was still on her side at this point with a little shock on her response. The dentist confirmed the my younger one had a little swollen gums. Then dentist and I went to see my older one. Not surprise that my older kid has the same issue. The surprise was so he does not complain about the process. He confirmed later with me that the Asian assistance was tender and merciful. The final feedback from my kids are they would rather to break up the time to wait for Asian assistance to do cleaning for both!

I was nervous because my previous dentists have been rough and rude and it made for an anxiety filled event. Not here, the office is clean, the staff is super nice and they work hard to make it a great, calming experience. Today I woke up with excruciating mouth pain and they fit me in (I'm assuming everyone missed lunch bc of it) without question. They never made me feel bad for coming in and fixed me up in about an hour. We have referred many people to this practice and everyone is just as satisfied as we are. They didn't do what they should have done, and wanted to jump straight into surgery. Way to much, when a simple cleaning fixed my issue. I'm actually glad they refused to do my cleaning, there's no telling what damage they would have caused. To sum it up, my second exam revealed my dental issue is no where near as bad as they made it out to be. They had me worried for nothing. There were a lot of red flags, and I'm glad I trusted my gut. I have been here twice. The first time was a consultation to find out what the procedure would…read moreentail. Everything was explained in easy to understand terms. I filled out insurance paperwork. It took about a month before I got a letter from my insurance company telling me what they would pay. I called the dental office and made a 20 percent down payment before setting up the appointment. On the day of the procedure, I showed up on time after preparing by following the printed instructions I had been given earlier. Someone called me a couple of days before my appointment to make sure I understood. Dental procedures can be scary and produce great anxiety, but this one did not. The staff and Dr.O were so calm and reassuring, my procedure was done before I realized it. Having IV sedation helped that along, of course! Dr. O called me the next day to see how I was and answer questions. So far, so good. If I follow the after care instructions, I'll be able to put this adventure behind me. Recommend!
