My kid came every day with scratches from there and they would never write a report about him. It was always him who hit first which was not valid. On top of this, their teachers spend most of their time scrolling through social media most commonly Facebook and Instagram, and I guarantee you that as soon as a parent walks into the room they act like they pay the most attention to your child. How do I know this you may ask? I had a second child attending this place who often would walk into the different rooms and see this behavior from mostly all the teachers except a select few. Or if they're not on a social networking site I can guarantee they are talking crap about your child. Most important of all they act a certain way with you and another with your child especially if he or she has special needs. My child who attended has special needs but they could care less he was treated badly and with no respect for his condition whatsoever. Also, let me tell you this place has a serious case of cross-contamination. They let your child's water/milk bottle touch other children's mouths. They also treat you very fake with the biggest smile and everything and your child is over on the corner crying and hurt at least that is what happened in my situation. Overall this place is not worth your child going to if you worry about any of these problems above.

I must say...I was impressed. Maria at the front desk was so nice, professional, and took her time giving me a tour of the school and explaining everything. I didn't feel rushed or didn't get the vibe that person didn't want to be there. The kids looked so happy! The facility was impeccable. It smelled great and all the teachers were interacting with the kids. I will be enrolling my little one in the next couple of days! The down part of it is that it's in PSN and traffic is insane in this area but I really don't care. I am willing to sit in that traffic and be at peace knowing my baby is in good hands! I'm excited!

My son Dorion had been there since he was a little over 3 years old. He is now a happy, well-adjusted boy thanks to the staff there. I have to admit that this place treated and educated my son more than any public school has. My son has developmental delay and has little communication skills ,but everyone at Jumpstart treated him like family and the thought still touches my heart. I owe so much credit for this to everyone there especially Christina. They have excellent experience with infants, toddlers and preschoolers and are patient and kind. The kids get plenty of outdoor play and do many fun activities. I am so happy that I found them because they really do love children. They offer a loving and safe environment for infants and children to thrive. I would be happy to provide anyone with more information. Come take a look, you will be surprised at all that they have to offer!!

My third child left VPK reading. As a result, he excelled in kindergarten. They have a caring environment, and excellent customer service. The Director is very accommodating, understanding, and a big supporter of education in general. She is always making sure Early Years is keeping up with all trends and educational tools, books, etc. In VPK, my child was challenged, and when the teacher saw he mastered a skill, she would work with him individually, giving him more advanced work.

The teacher was mean and rude. My child cried daily! He was punished for things like eating too slow! There is a huge turn around of teachers. My child constantly had his teachers switched because they would leave. The director seems lost and doesn't discipline teachers even if they have several complaints against them. She covers it all up. The last straw was when his teacher took him on a field trip without my permission. I had not trusted them to take him so I did not send permission slip. They took him anyway. Talk about negligence! That's just scary! Do not put your child at this school. Specially not VPK. Save your money and put them in public school.

The first day we went to look at the school, Yillian, the girl who greets you at first, who does not even look is old enough to have a full time job, did not know what denomination of Christians they were, she did not even know what the word meant. Nobody is Christian at that place, so don t get fooled by their name. My son, one day came home with a huge bruise on his leg, the following day I asked the teacher, because of course, nobody told me and there was no insident report, like it should ve been, and the teacher did not even remember what had happened. I showed her the picture I took, and she was surprised and did not know what happened, then she tells me, oh yes, that he was jumping on the stool infront of the water fountain and felt, but she checked him and did not see anything. I got one day an insident report saying my son had hit another kid and after I requested to watch the video when it happened, they had seen it before me, and told me that it was a misundertanding, that they were playing and in no where in the video it showed he had actually hit the kid. Another day he had taken a test on Monday, I asked the teach on tuesday how did he do it and she told me he had done great, more than half of the letters were done and everything good, I asked to see the test on Tuesday, they told me the teachers were still grading the test, on Wed, nothing, thursday nothing, finally I come in Friday and the lady at the front, Amelia, who is the only person who really cares for the kids and who is truly called for teaching, tells me, that my son did not want to do the test and that the teacher, as a special treatment to my son, sat with him and 3 other kids to do the test again and he had gotten A+ and at that point, they showed me the test. On Monday I told teacher Jeannette that what she had said on Monday was not true, she tells me that the office lied to me, that my son did do the test, but they misplaced the 4 tests and could not find them anywhere and that was the reason why they had to re-do the test. 3 different answers to the same question. My son did an assessment test, I was notified that he did wonderful I asked to see the test, since I have confirmed with several other daycares and teachers, that those records should be online available to the parents and a copy should ve been given to me, and nobody could give me an answer and to this point, I still don t have the copy of that test. My son was having little bruises on his arms, like finger tips marks and every day he would come with them, until the day I told teacher Jeannette, a few days later all the bruises were gone and never had them again. I had to put several snacks in my son s bookbag, because the amount of food they give the kids are so small, they are super hungry when you pick them up. He never brought a project home, no extra activities to keep the kids engaged in the learning system, one day I asked how many hours they watched tv, because my son would come home everyday telling me all the movies he watched, and the teacher said to the office that I was complaining because my son was watching too much tv. Overall, I don t even know how this schools is still running as a business. Don t bring your kids to this school, my son now is behind in the new school where he is going now because of the horrible learning techniques these people have, all the kids are reading in his new schools and he is now learning to blend the letters in. They only see the dollar sign in the kids forheads, there are many schools in the area where you can take your children and they will learn and be happier than in this place. Be aware and compare places, ask all the questions before you put your child in a daycare like this. A very Concered Mother!

The amazing staff with so much heart and caring mindset allows our daughters strive. After completion of her daycare through pre-k studies at PWA, our oldest daughter just won student of the month award amongst her 1st grade class in her new school. From yoga to music class, letter sounds or climbing the rock wall outside, she is engaged and continually learning throughout her day. It's not just me who finds PWA to be an outstanding educationally centered preschool. My friend, an elementary teacher in the area, says that children who attended PWA come into her class ready and prepared for kindergarten. In addition to the exceptional learning environment, PWA goes the extra mile to promote a clean and healthy environment. The school is very clean and all children wash their hands when they arrive at school and throughout the day. My daughter likes the food and I like the meal choices/healthy snacks. All of my daughter's teachers have been warm, organized and responsive. I can see what my daughter is learning using the school's communication app. This is a huge plus for me - her teacher uploads pictures throughout the day, we can chat and share documents digitally. My daughter wakes up and wants us to take her to school (even on the weekends). As a working mom, it's such a blessing to find a preschool that not only teaches my child but also genuinely cares about her. Thank you PWA for all you do.
