Dr. Teglia has been taking care of my kids for the past few years now. We moved offices for an appointment. I was super disappointed that another Dr. practiced an outdated practice/ recommendation for one of my kids. We came running back to Dr. Teglia. This office is accommodating and schedules my kids at the same time, so I'm able to fit their appointments into my busy schedule. Like clock work we're here every six months. Dr. Teglia takes great care of my kids and my little one loves getting his cleanings. We will see you at our next 6 month visit. read more

I would give no stars if yelp allowed it!! Made an appointment for my child with this dentist office gave them all my insurance information. Everything was all good even put in the PTO at my job then they call me the day of the appointment and canceled because they don't take my insurance. Why did you not figure that out ahead of time, what a waste. You guys want your customers to give you a cancellation notice of 24 hours but it's OK for you to do it the day of the appointment within hours of the appointment how is that ok?! Sadly we left the practice after many years. It has grown and changed and is no longer a good fit for my family. When we left, there were extremely long waits for appointments and staff was snippy with me when I asked questions. Perhaps it was just growing pains. I have no ill will but I can no longer recommend either. read more

Dr. Teglia and her staff are wonderful. The front desk ladies are so kind, helpful and understanding. Dr. Teglia cares about the whole patient not just the teeth. Her hygienists are patient, kind and fun. My three grandchildren don't have any issues with their care. I usually get all three kids in at the same time. They are very efficient getting the kids in and out. They have been patients for almost three years. I do recommend this office! read more

My daughter today had 3 crowns put on and an extraction. We were both nervous to say the least! They were so thorough about explaining the process to not only me but my daughter as well. They showed her every tool, showed her what sounds they make, explained each step as they went. I loved that they asked her questions so they could use that to engage her in conversation and keep her mind off the procedure. They had a TV on the ceiling also! My daughter loved that. They continually asked her if she was OK and twice she answered no. They were quick to stop and help make sure she was numb enough, comfortable enough, etc before proceeding. All my 3 kids are seeing Dr. Duffy and he's such an amazing dentist! He's good with the kiddos, and is very thorough, which I appreciate. His assistants change every time obviously lol, but on our recent visit, the lady assisting him was great as well! Definitely made my daughter feel safe. We switched to this location from the one on Double R because our kids' dentist moved to the Sparks location. For us it's not about the convenience of the location, as both seem like they are just as far away from us (quite a trip!). We like our dentist, she is very nice. The service is still great, and we would now be able to recommend both of the My Kids Smile locations to friends and family. We have never had any issues :) we bring the kids in every six months. The reason I gave this location 5 stars instead of the 4 stars I gave the other location is because our wait time has been significantly less here at the Sparks one. We always show up slightly early to appointments, and the Double R location I've noticed typically runs at least 15min past your scheduled appointment time. Here at the Vista one we get in pretty quick! read more

We are fairly new to the area and my 5.5 year old was needing her routine teeth cleaning. Service on the phone was very helpful and friendly. Was able to get an appointment for the following week. Today we arrived- the waiting room seems pretty inviting although we were called back as soon as we checked in. My daughter is very dramatic and freaks over most things but they were really understanding (or at least acted like it). Anna was the hygienist and was really nice- moved us to a private room when my daughter started crying. The dentist (the owner I believe as well) was so kind, made my daughter feel more at ease... We will be back in 6 months. Hopefully without a crier! Ha! read more

A nice pediatric dental office with friendly staff, a welcoming little waiting room with kids movies playing on the TVs and some iPads loaded with games my son loves to play with. Although the waiting room isn't as impressive as the original My Kid's Smile location we went to in Reno (they had a bigger area and a lot of toys to play with) it was still nice enough. Dr. Teglia has been very personable and the hygienists clearly enjoy working with children. read more

Amazing! My sons first dentist visit ever and the assistant was just amazing with little kids! I wish I knew her name to give her this credit. the office was nice also they have a little iPad station for kids in the waiting room. And they are really good with kids there. I usually don't write reviews unless I'm really happy. As a mother you always want what is best for your child. To me that was Dr. Gookin he attempts to make your child comfortable and helps you understand what he recommends. He doesn't push you into making a decision and is willing to try to accommodate you if he feels like it will benefit your child. Dr. Gookin is friendly and takes the time to make sure all your answers are answered. I will continue to refer my friends and family over to Dr. Gookin. read more

This place is the best place in Reno/Sparks for dentistry. We LOVE Dr Teglia! We will follow her where every she goes. She is so patient and kind. She never says the typical dentist judgy stuff. It's hard brushing kids teeth and making them floss. She completely gets that. The office staff knows their stuff as well and are equally as awesome. They greet everyone by name.
