Buy before you try ... I don't think so.
We asked for a tasting before we signed a contract, expecting to pay them for their time and trouble, this was their response:
"Hi there,
Actually, we are not set up to do tastings until a contract is
signed and have a deposit. Since we are not a restaurant, we do
not have these menu items always on hand. I can however put a
complete tasting together for you for up to 4 ppl at no charge,
once a signed contract and deposit are made.
I am also happy to provide referrals/emails from prior clients, from
both Special event and corporate clients.
Hope this helps, thank you.

We then said that the process seemed a little backward and that other caterer would do a tasting before a contract. That seemed to make them mad:
"ok,I hear u
Let me start with the fact that we have been in business for 20 years my husband Chef Mark was the night chef of the #1 Italian Rest. in San Fransisco in1992 , when he moved here he was Chef Owner of Mi Piaci in Addison for 4 yrs . We love our business, and would not take a penny from u all if u were not happy. That being said the Ship has Sailed for Tasting as we can give u more recommendations than u could field in a month. Was that too harsh ?????????? U can come by any day and we will be happy to give u all something to take home for dinner. LOL

I think it speaks for itself. Would you pay this person for food you had never tried? I don't think so. read more
