But, I think it would be fair to post another one after the issues have been corrected. I was contacted by a representative of BlindsToGo and they asked to provide some details about the issues. I shared a couple of pictures and I was assured that this is not how it should be. I was offered to return the shades to the store and wait for a few days to have the issues corrected. Since even the spring mechanisms had issues I had really nothing to lose so I agreed. At the store I was provided with some temporary paper blinds, just to cover the windows. That was a nice gesture. I've been working in this room doing the final touches of the renovations and that sort of privacy was indeed appreciated. I have returned the shades on Thursday evening and I have received a message today, on Wednesday, that my new shades were ready for pick-up. These shades are much more like what I was expecting - good straight cuts, nothing loose, clean painted surfaces and the spring mechanisms working properly. So, the customer service does deserve a positive review, the issues have been taken care of with minimal incovenience for me. Thanks!

I stumbled upon Canadian Shade during one of my searches and low and behold within 15 minutes I knew what I wanted. The website is so well laid out with dimensions, options and pricing that I knew straight away what I required. A phone call to Canadian shade the next day was answered by Chris who was at a job site but put time aside to chat about my project. Another call was placed to Brenda and voila I had a quote within days to my specifications. The 19x12 foot Pergolino unit was dropped of months later as COVID was holding up the production line. He was very knowledgeable on the products and allowed us to weigh the pros and cons of the different systems available. Three weeks later, their crew came and installed the awning. They were very courteous and completed the job within a few hours. A few months later, we were having an issue with our wind sensor and thought it was broken. We called Canadian Shade and Chris was back the next day. As it turns out, it was just an issue with the battery which he replaced that day. No cost. No complaints. He was happy to help. Chris called us recently and asked us share our experience and we were more then happy to do so.
