There's 8 different types of falafel (apparently - but they weren't shown on the menu on the counter!!!), so I opted for the falafel burger and chips which came to £4.99. We'd arrived about 1.15 thinking it wouldn't take them long to make up and we'd take our food back to the office to eat. I arrived back at the office at 2pm - considering I only have a 1/2 hour lunch break that's not really very good! We felt that the chef didn't really have a handle on multi-tasking and took far too long getting 4 takeaway meals ready! The food wasn't bad (if a little over-cooked) but the chips (I watching him pour the frozen chips into the fryer) were actually nice to eat. No doubt it's early days for this company and I don't think they get much clientele in spite of being opposite Harrow and Wealdstone station.

Try the cardamom tea with a whiskey shot and the Oreo or Ferrero milkshake! As for the shisha, go for something with vanilla and if you're not into mint stay away from the bubble gum, too. Also, it's better to split a shisha between two of you, unless you really come from the Middle-East! As for dinner, don't skip the hummus with pita bread and definitely go for any of their wraps. But, don't over-order, because the portions are generous and you'll be full quickly. Spice-wise, don't be afraid, they don't overdo the pepper. If you feel brave, try the red dipping sauce next to the complimentary garlic paste that they offer. For a portion of hummus sawarma and a falafel wrap it's around 8£. Shisha split between two of you will cost around 7.5£. Add some tea for 3£ and you'll cruise the Mediterranean for no more than 20£. UP: - Affordable and absolutely great shisha, dinner and drinks! - Close to Harrow Campus of the University of Westminster. - Happy, friendly and cheerful service. Definitely worth a good tip! Cheap, generous portions (£2 chips and cheese) - the staff is extremely friendly, the cooking facilities are very clean and you can see all your food being prepared. Even the salad is fresh and clean. Highlights include the chips, cheese, and chicken (£4, and you get a ton of grilled chicken and chips and cheese and salad). The hot sauce is quite spicy, but the real highlight is the garlic mayo - it's incredible. The kebabs are great, the chips are well-fried, and all of the food tastes fresh, and, crucially, is cooked really well. Definitely a step above the other street food in Oxford.

We happened to be around the Gloucester Green square and the row of stalls on the opposite side caught my eye. The Falafel House was the one on the very end, and as soon as I heard other customers ordering in a foreign language, I knew it would be good. Paid £3.50 for falafel and baba ganoush, which seems like a steal after being in London for a few weeks. The falafel was hot out of the fryer (unlike another reviewer, mine weren't greasy at all!), veggies were fresh and crisp, all in a chewy thin wrap. I also got hot sauce, which, combined with the onion, made for a spicy kick. I had to take a picture before I left, and the guy behind the counter even posed! I'm in love. I've been here a few times and its been delightful. They give you a free falafel to try while you're waiting which is something very rare in London. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a decent size lunch or dinner around here. Spot on!!
