I thoroughly did my research reading all the reviews and set up a consultation with the owner figuring I was in good hands. I left after our consultation feeling confident that we were on the same page. There were a couple of red flags though, he said I should go blonde and that women should have long flowing hair. I have an edgy bob undercut. Shorter hair suits me best and it's me! I left his salon with uneven extremely brassy highlights after showing him many photos of what I wanted. Again he said yes, of course. I went into his salon with damaged hair from highlights previously done at another salon and left with even more over processed hair. Needless to say they lost a client. This brings me to R&H. Brian took the time to listen to me and was honest with me in that he didn't want to lighten my hair at this point because of the state my hair was in. We talked about our options and decided to do a gloss. From the beginning he said due to the different colors and unevenness of my hair, the gloss would add shine and tone down the brassiness. While it's not where I want my hair to be, it's a work in progress and for now I'm treating it with Olaplex and hair masks. My hair is shinier and softer. I appreciated Brian's honesty and candor and plan to visit him in the near future.

BEWARE This review…read moreis WAY OVERDUE. I have a horrific experience here and it alllll started when I called to book an appointment with a MASTER STYLIST and long behold I was placed with the lady who does nails and they were TRAINING to cut hair. SHE REUINED MY HAIR!!! Please refer to the photo. I mean it will be years before I can grow my bangs out, they go all the way back into by head far beyond my ears. BUT. I don't blame the stylist, she's new to the game. I BLAME THE STAFF. Starting from the receptionist who booked me with a trainy when I asked for a MASTER STYLIST. Down to the manager who I have yet to hear back from regarding a my refund. She litteraly just doesn't want to give me my money back and this happened In OCTOBER and we are now a few days short of JANUARY!!! I was taken at the Kendal location for a "fix" and while yes it blends better my hair is messed up and will be FOR A WHILE. If your reading this I WANT MY REFUND mainly because at this point I feel disrespected. COME ON PETER OF LONDON!!!

Desperate, since I was ling overdue for a dye(and had requested the day off of work just for this appointment), I decided to check out Yelp for salons in my area and came across Qiu. I did a little Instagram research and decided to call and schedule. The girl at the front desk was extremely accommodating and fit me in for the same day. I was scheduled with Noel and showed him what I wanted. He went right to work and explained each step in detail as he did my hair. It did take some hours but I left happier than ever and can't wait to go back. I've already recommended 3 friends over. Their attention to detail and the amazing products used were unmatched

Dear Claudine, I…read morehave been a loyal customer of your salon for approximately five years, which is why this recent experience was especially disappointing. During my latest visit, my stepdaughter and I were encouraged to try a new nail technician and were quoted $150 for both hands and feet, including designs. The appointment itself was extremely time-consuming, taking about four hours for me and about two hours for my stepdaughter. Due to the length of the appointment, I was asked to return two days later to complete the service, which I did. Prior to returning, I confirmed by phone that there would be no additional charge for the toe designs. However, when I arrived, I found you seated and having your cuticles done by the nail technician. As I sat nearby waiting, you began having a heated conversation with her regarding pricing. I was not involved, but I was close enough to hear the exchange clearly, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable as a customer. Situations like this should never take place in front of clients. I then sat down and began my service, but the situation continued. The nail technician began escalating the discussion, and I could also hear comments being made from a distance. After listening to both sides, I felt increasingly uncomfortable with the environment and the way the situation was being handled. I ultimately chose to stop the service, got up, and left. I was refunded for the pedicure at that time. While I was seated earlier, the environment had already become uncomfortable, with ongoing loud comments about pricing, customers, and money that were clearly audible. At one point, remarks were made suggesting that customers who could not pay should not return. This was upsetting and inappropriate. In addition, the quality of the nail work did not meet expectations. Within less than a week, the stones began falling off and the finish deteriorated significantly. After years of being a client, this experience felt disrespectful, disorganized, and far below the level of professionalism I would expect. Clear communication, respectful treatment of customers, and basic service quality were all lacking. I would also like to note that Dina and Cary have always been very professional and excellent at what they do. I will greatly miss them. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make improvements to avoid similar situations in the future. Sincerely, Irma

She was so kind and friendly we had a great time as she cut my hair. I asked for a butterfly cut and I believe she did great job.
