When my boyfriend graduated college a few years ago, he got his diploma framed here. When I graduated college, he referred me here to frame my diploma. Now, he's back again to get his master's degree framed! Safe to say he really loves this place and only trusts them. Speaking from my own experience, the staff is super friendly and patient. They swiftly provided several flattering color combinations for diplomas and were very patient waiting for me to decide which one I liked best. I also got the UV-protected glass. While the total cost was quite steep (especially for a new college graduate), there seems to be promotions going on most of the time which helped me out. My boyfriend also reminded me that (for my specific case) it's an investment piece made to last. He didn't get the UV-protected glass for his first diploma, and the school seal colors faded after a few years. This time, for his master's degree, he sprung for the museum glass and it's so clear it's as if there isn't any glass there at all. Within a week and a half, they gave me a call to pick up my order. I always start off this way, but I rarely leave reviews. Either I'm really upset about something or really impressed to leave one. Luckily, this time was the latter. I had brought in a photo of my parents wedding to gift for their wedding anniversary. First of all, I have no knowledge of framing things but know I didn't want to buy some typical frame at a Target or something. This photo had value and was super old so I asked around and heard this place did a really good job. Come to find out, they go above and beyond for you. The owner was there the day I went and she was so knowledgeable - that hearing her suggestions helped me create such a better gift for them than what I had in mind. The staff is really helpful and friendly which is a plus, because (I won't say where) but another place I had gone to seemed uninterested in taking the time to explain how the process works or helping me envision what it would look like. A great place to get professional quality framing at a very reasonable price. This was my first time getting a piece of art framed. I had a canvas painting (rolled up) and was looking to have it stretched and framed. I originally went to a large chain Arts and Crafts store that also has a small framing section, but found their prices really outrageous and their customer service lacking. I came here on the recommendation of a friend. They were polite and helpful, guiding me through the process from beginning to end (without making me feel dumb for asking questions), and even went out of their way to present different options that would shave off the cost without sacrificing quality. I ended up choosing a beautiful frame that was part of their "overstock" discounted collection-- but it was so perfect for my painting that it probably would've been my first choice anyway! I found them because I needed passports taken but was impressed by all the samples they had displayed in the shop. Went back with my gf to frame a basketball jersey. The girl who assisted us was very helpful and took the time to show us different design choices on the computer (I think her name was Fae). Overall I was very pleased with my experience and glad to have experienced such good service which I find rare nowadays. The prices were considerably less than what was quoted from Michaels and the final product came out even better than expected. Great quality work! I got a family photo framed here and it turned out great. The whole framing process was really in depth and the lady who helped me really took the time to go through all the choices that I wanted to explore. I ended up going with a very elegant white frame with multiple mattes. When I went to go pick it up and I saw it, I was honestly very impressed. Anytime friends or family are over, I always receive compliments on the picture, and that to me made the custom framing job priceless. The young lady at the counter was very knowledgable and experienced. She showed me different examples of how that ticket and phot should be arranged and different frame designs. I would have just chosen a black frame and may but glad she suggested a Yankee pinstripe mat which she custom designed. The finished piece was better than expected and cost was very reasonable. I plan on bringing in more projects for them. I would also like to note how friendly and helpful they were throughout the process. The girls at The Framing Shop are so patient and professional, they take the time out to show you that you have several options. My Father had his WWII Army Platoon photo restored. Excellent job, they were able to restore a face that faded away due to age in the picture. Also, was able to bring forth the name of his unit that also had faded from the naked eyes view. Very professional, had the work done as promised. They also have some beautiful art for sale.
