Here are my inspiration photos and then what she did to my hair. It was $275 before tip (and I still tipped 20%, because I'm a decent person). I think it's safe to say I didn't get what I came for at all. She was super excited to do my hair, so I assumed she would do it well. This was my first time in 6 years getting my hair professionally done instead of just doing it myself. I will continue to do my hair myself, as it's clear I cannot trust others to do it for me.

I booked an appointment at Salon Haven specifically with a stylist named Christina after a trusted…read morerecommendation. When I called, I was told she wasn't available Saturday but had an opening Friday at 10:30, which I booked and received a confirmation text for with Christina. When we arrived, no one introduced the stylist or mentioned any change. My daughter was taken back, and we went through the entire appointment under the impression she was with Christina. The haircut itself was not what was requested. My daughter brought reference photos, but the bangs were cut far too short and uneven, and the layering was incorrect. It was only after we left that I realized the stylist was not Christina at all. The business card we were handed when leaving said "Bailey," who isn't even listed on their website. The lack of transparency is unacceptable. If a client books with a specific stylist, they should be clearly informed of any changes beforehand. We would not have booked this appointment otherwise. To make matters worse, I reached out to the salon via email weeks ago to resolve this and never received any response. No acknowledgment, no follow-up, nothing. This appointment was for my daughter's birthday, which makes the experience even more disappointing. Based on both the service and the complete lack of accountability afterward, I would never recommend this salon.

The young lady greeted me with a wonderful smile, and paperwork to fill out. The waiting area was clean, and offered many products for sale. The service room was neat, and tidy. Kat offered a warm bed, clean robe and hair band. The service was amazing. Kat not only did a wonderful job with my facial Dermaplane, she offered a wonderful neck, shoulder and arm massage. The oils, lotions and products she used smelt amazing! And my results were awesome! My face wasn't bright red and I was able to continue on with my day as if Dermaplane didn't happen 30 minutes prior. I highly recommend Kat, and her team. My next 6-week appointment is booked.

I'll definitely return and plan to check out more of the services offered.

I don't get my nails done often, and while I was home from college, I decided to try this salon. David was my technician. I asked for a lavender color with a chrome finish, and he showed me one on the sample palette that looked like what I wanted. When my nails were finished, there was no chrome, just plain lavender. When I asked about it, David asked another employee and tried checking with others, but I felt more embarrassed in the moment and ended up saying maybe I was wrong. He then laughed, and I was already anxious about speaking up, so it made me feel uncomfortable. I left a tip because I panicked and just wanted to leave. Afterward, I felt really overwhelmed and ended up crying in my car. I understand miscommunication can happen, but I wish there had been better communication and customer service.

Let this be your warning. Nurse Shara, you have completely ruined my lips. I put my faith, money, & trust into you and disappointed isn't even the word. The filler I had when I first sat in your office was perfectly fine and you manipulated/fear-mongered me into believing they looked bad in hopes of making an extra $500 off of me? Pathetic. I really loved my lips those first couple of months, but as time has passed, the progression of my lips grew to be absolutely horrendous in size, shape, feel & appearance. I only received "two syringes" (or so she alleges to have given me) from her over the course of maybe 3 months earlier this year! Something I found strange, beside the other nonsense, was that I would show her pictures of the EXACT lips that I wanted to build and they never looked like what I showed her. I even confronted her about in at our next appointment and she would say she normally does and even prefers the "bimbo look". Yes she said this verbatim. If bimbo equated to BOTCHED then maybe. Here below I have a photo of my lips currently. Shara, this is nothing short of a malpractice. Even my friends who had payed for your services in the past warned me about your reckless injection practices such as overfilling the lips, coercion to buy more filler, & dismissive behavior when customers confront you about it. I should listened to my gut and ran the opposite direction instead of letting you manipulate me on the day of that consultation. You have left me with weird, lumpy lips, a crooked smile, hard to the touch duck lips, and a hell of a lot less confidence. You have ruined my lips and I would like to be compensated for this. The pictures don't even do them justice. It looks a lot worse in person.

Emily put a full set of lashes on my eyes when salons opened after lock down. I honestly didn't…read morereally know anything about lash extensions etc and she walked me through it and they were perfect. I was hooked. This service was $80. I didn't know that this was a special one time price. Fast forward, Emily filled in my lashes several times and they were awesome every single time. I ended up having to quarantine with different family members a few times due to COVID and missed having my lashes filled in. By the time, I could come back I needed another full set but Emily wasn't available. They booked me with someone else and I didn't even ask what the price was. I just assumed it would be the same or close. Nope, when it came time to check out I was told it would be $145. I spoke at length with Jason and maybe he was having a bad day but he basically told me that they had plenty of business. He did end up giving me $15 off and I left. When I got home I was surprised when I really looked at my lashes and saw what a shoddy job had been done on them. I was disappointed but just decided to let it go. Less than a week later almost every (much more expensive) lash was gone. I paid a lot more for my second set of lashes here and they were a complete waste of money and I, too am a small business owner. If you do decide to use this salon for lashes, ask for Emily and just wait until she has an opening. She is great and takes her time to make sure you leave happy. They are lucky to have her. I hate that I can't go back to her but I can't support this business again. Jason answered my review on Google but never tried to contact me so I had no idea that they would try to fix the shoddy lash job. I had barely any lashes left (they were not very full to begin with but I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings) in just a few days. I actually had friends ask me why I hadn't gotten my lashes done because everyone had gotten used to how great they looked. I never one time had this problem when Emily did my lashes. Again, if you are looking for a place to have your lashes done, I would suggest you look elsewhere. My hair stylist gave me several recommendations today and I, of course, told her my story.
