So, about 1 year ago my permanent front dental bridge broke in half and I had no front teeth. None of my 4 front top teeth. I called My Emergency Dental in East Cobb where I grew up and they were able to see me that same day. I thought I was so thankful. NO!! The owner/dentist told me my teeth could not be repaired and I would have to get a partial denture. OMG! I was so devastated. I thought they could make me one that same day but they said it would be about 1-2 weeks to have it made. THEY LIED!! It took them 10 1/2 weeks... that's almost 4 months...to make me a partial denture!!! I went almost 4 months, ALL OF SPRING...with NO front top teeth. I cried almost every single day. I kept calling asking when the dental appliance would be there and the front office kept acting like they had no idea who I was and said they couldn't find my order I had already paid almost $1,200 and was supposed to pay another $600+ when my partial denture arrived. As you can imagine, I lost all my self esteem, I lost out on work and social opportunities due to having no teeth. I grew up with a beautiful smile and love making others smile. That was taken away from me by these thieves! I called so many times and demanded that the owner/dentist call me back. I wanted answers as to where my new smile/teeth were and I was repeatedly told that they had not come in yet and they were looking into it.She (the owner) finally did call me back and she said she felt so bad bc it had taken so long (3 1/2 months) that she would refund me all the money I had already spent and not charge me any money owed. She said my new "teeth" had come in and were too long so she sent them back and the company refunded her all of her money. I thought, how could she tell they were too long when I never went in to try them out? She lied!! A few weeks after she called me, I went into her office again to have 2 teeth pulled and have this new apparatus put in the same day. It did not and still does not fit properly. She did NOT REFUND ME my money as promised and my top teeth are so short. I don't even look like myself anymore. Please BEWARE of this company and dentist!! Also, the front desk lady screamed at me on the phone while I was bawling crying asking about what to do about my mouth and money. She said, you can have your refund when you give us back your teeth!!! WHAT???? PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

This is a poorly run office. I called three times (got VM), so I left a message. It has been 5 hours, and still no call back. This same day, my friend went there and said there was no one else in the waiting room. The receptionist never said a word about completing the paperwork that was required to be filled out. I came here yesterday with severe pain from a dry socket due to extraction. Dr. Brandi Ard-Boynton took it upon herself to write me a prescription for a muscle relaxer, which not to my surprise, didn't work at ALL. Upon going to my real dentist today, he informed me she was probably assuming I'm "drug seeking" bc muscle medicine would do NOTHING for a tooth nerve, which I would expect a licensed "dentist" to know. I paid $400 for gel that's $20 on Amazon, X-rays I didn't need, and muscle relaxers that didn't relax anything nor did they help me sleep as I was awakened from my sleep from severe excruciating pain. Thank you "Dr." Ard for the $400 useless visit. If it's truly an emergency you're better off trying to get a same day appointment with a real dentist! read more

I took my husband here this past Saturday for a toothache. After examining him, the dentist told him that she was going to "take the tooth" and informed him that there was quite a bit of infection present. He described her manner as curt and rough. The tooth removal was very uncomfortable for him and when he came back out to the waiting room he was in obvious pain. I voiced my concern to receptionist. She asked my husband if he was in pain and he could only nod in agreement...he wasn't even able to stand upright because of the pain. The receptionist said he shouldn't be feeling anything and should be numb but it was obvious to everyone that that was not the case. After it became obvious that they weren't going to do anything to help or even re-examine him, I took him to the CVS across the street to get his scripts filled. While waiting in the pharmacy my husband vomitted in the waiting area because of the pain and actually cried. in 17 years of marriage, I have never seen him cry. We are now 48hrs post procedure and he is feeling better but I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. They are a chop shop and dont actually care about the wellbeing of the patients they see. Likely because they know they're providing an emergency service and probably won't see us again. Shameful place! read more

I went there to get a cap temporarily glued back on. The person in reception was very slow and we printing out RX forms for another patient. She asked my why I was there and asked me to wait. I did, about 10 to 15 minutes. Then she cameo over to me and explained that there would be a $50 afterhours fee for after 7:00pm. That's OK. And there would be a $200 fee for x-rays and dental checkup, before they got to the tooth. And insurance would not apply. I said no thanks, and walked out the door. Both locations have horrible customer service. They answer the phone, put you on hold and leave you on hold or hung up all together.

I thought I hit my self in the face while sleeping. 4 days later I was still in pain. My emergency dental was able to schedule me as a walk in. I have, and continue to have, a dental emergency. I am in Big Time Pain. I saw a dentist and was referred to an endodontist. Because the pain was so great, I needed to see an endodontist on Sunday so I called My Emergency Dental because their website says they do root canals and you see on Yelp Endodontist prominently mentioned. I told the woman who answered the phone at My Emergency Dental that I believe I needed a root canal and was told they do offer root canals. I also mentioned that the problem tooth was also a crowned tooth. She told me to come right in. She was VERY NICE! When I arrived I was immediately put off because every member of staff in the office was NOT wearing a mask. I told her I was shocked that nobody in the office of a medical establishment were NOT wearing masks during the pandemic. She said we are ALL vaccinated. I said, the vaccine does NOT keep you from getting Covid or keep you from passing Covid to others. When I got to see the doctor they took 1 X-ray and proceeded to tell me they cannot do a root canal through a crown. I would need to see an endodontist for that. She further said they have NO endodontists and are only dentists. I ended up paying almost 200.00 for 1 x-ray which is useless to me. It is NOT professional to say they offer services they simply do not offer. What a waste of time. If you suspect you need a root canal do not waste your time and money! read more

I was extremely cautious about going to a random, off hours emergency dental facility, but I was in so much pain that I had no choice. I am one of those patients who has a true, crippling phobia of dentists. I made the appointment Friday after work and was seen the next morning. The front desk ladies were super nice. I was called at my scheduled time. I believe my dentist was named Dr. Park. She was so sweet, understanding, calming and as gentle as can be expected for a tooth extraction. She clearly explained what needed to be done and answered any questions I had. I was given all pricing up front and the option to choose what I wanted to have done. I cried the entire time, but only because of my fear. Dr. Park made sure I was good and numb and felt no pain. I wanted to give 5 stars, but the only reason I didn't is because my discharge and aftercare instructions, given by the assistant/hygienist, were very crappy. It basically consisted of ... don't smoke, don't drink from a straw , don't spit and don't eat anything "crunchy". After a few days of my mouth feeling and tasting yucky, I researched extraction aftercare from several sources online. After my procedure I was never told about gentle, warm saltwater rinsing a few times a day. I began doing that and it made all of the difference in the world. It immediately made my mouth feel 100 times better and less yucky. I feel like it began to help the healing process also. Lack of aftercare instruction, which is pretty important, was my only negative. I'd recommend My Emergency Dental, just make sure you get good discharge instructions. read more

Excellent. I had to have two upper back molars removed on and emergency basis. I was scared to death. I didn't feel a thing. Amazing! Okay - I felt pressure - but not pain. Worth paying for the laughing gas. Pricing was upfront and I feel the charges were fair and reasonable. After the procedure, they gave me a ballpark idea of what they would charge for a partial, and that price was also reasonable. The entire office was professional and compassionate. Save yourself a headache on top of a toothache and a fat bill couple of weeks later. This place is a SCAM literally! They advertise a $99 exam but what they don't mention is a $200 x-ray fee on top of that and they have a $40 for working outside of the business hours. I was told I need a root canal with crown and was hit with a $6K estimate later to find out through another dentist I didn't need a root canal at all !!! Usually visit like that is free when you have insurance so when I paid over $70 out of pocket on top of my insurance I thought that was a little much but I was desperate so it didn't matter UNTIL....I got a late night email about 3 weeks later with almost a $200 bill, thought it was a mistake so I called the next day and was told that the amount was in addition to what I and my insurance already paid...and yes my insurance did not pay what they were asking for because they know those are ridiculous numbers. They had me sign an estimate print out of future work that's if I decide to do it at their facility and than said that I agreed to the additional charges for the exam visit. I would have asked more questions if I wasn't in severe pain but I guess that's the whole point...motto of their business lol....the advertised 30 minutes is also not true...waited an hour and a half before being seen with an appointment read more

The moment I stepped in the door they were well prepared and had all the paper work ready for me to fill out, very friendly and clean environment. I can honestly say this was the best dentist I have been too, better than the one near my campus as well. There were no hiccups everybody knew exactly what to do and I was comfortable. If your tooth is killing you mentally or maybe even physically, it stops right here at this place, they have set prices which you can find on the internet that are very reasonable I will recommend this place to everybody, this is now my go to place.
