My Doctor Now is a great! I've been to several other doctors and they do not take the time that these doctors do. I have some major medical issues and I had to get a lot of referrals. And the referral team is awesome.! They actually care about you.! I went to other doctors and they did not want to get referrals for you and they would complain about it and they would take months to get them to go through to specialists. These doctors are great. Over the past year, I've had to file multiple complaints, call over 24 times for 4 major issues, sit and wait in callbacks that rarely comes and just have to sustain the torture from the absolute worst referral and authorization departments. From the company forcing patients to make multiple appointments to make money on followups, refusing to refill prescriptions as to hold medication hostage to drive up revenu on return trips, failure to send messages, reply to messages, assist patients with getting proper referrals and authorizations, failure to take accountability on bad referrals or incorrect authorizations, causing delays on surgeries, procedures, or testing, and most of all, just never really focused on effective communication. The latest drama was over two issues that started in mid Feb. One was solved after 6 calls, by me, and a threat to file a medical provider complaint, and 5 additional calls to my insurance company to confirm this company flat out lied to me. As of today, im still waiting on a second issue, which I've called times on, was told the situation was corrected, which it wasn't, and again...I had to call 6 specialists and then my insurance company because the worthless referral department and manager cant do their job. Its now going on May and im still waiting...thank God, my insurance provider is opening an investigation and hopefully they will pull this horrendous company from their provider list. This company is nothing more than a deplorable money generating cash flow machine. They dont even have doctors to see so you are stuck with PA or NP providers. So blessed my insurance company is taking action and found me new providers once I get this months and counting referrals. Reddit forums, local nextdoor threads, and bad reviews across most their locations should warn everyone to steer clear. The only good things are far outweighed with detrimental Healthcare for patients. If you value your health, go elsewhere. I could write a thesis on how bad this place is, but once this referral comes through, its quitting time. I doubt this latest issue will ever get fixed, so if I end up in the ER, at least its easy to point the finger. I honestly worry for patients for anyone thst uses this company. So many times I've gone to a doctor and been rushed out the facility because they are on a tight schedule. I never felt rushed here. Neglectful. I've never had an issue with this business before until I had a telehealth appointment with Alyssa Orr to discuss a condition that causes severe emotional distress and suicidal ideation. I explained how debilitating the symptoms were and asked what treatments were available. Instead of offering guidance, she told me I could either go on birth control or see an OB-GYN. When I said I wasn't comfortable with those options, she gave me nothing else. She then asked me what medication I wanted her to prescribe because she didn't know. That's not just careless it's unsafe. A provider who can't offer basic support for a life-threatening hormonal disorder should not be handling women's health or mental health concerns. I left the appointment feeling worse, unheard, and emotionally neglected. If someone had been in a more vulnerable state, this experience could've pushed them into crisis. This is not trauma-informed care. This is not patient-centered care. It's negligence. I suggest anyone struggling to please seek better support and not put yourself at risk going to her. read more

First I want to say I don't know why they have only 2 stars, I just moved to the San Tan area a few months ago and had to have an annual check up, blood tests, cancer screening for women. Had an issue, they sent me to a specialist, did all the set up for me. Nicest people you'll ever meet. Made me feel comfortable and I laughed quite a few times. I felt cared for and welcomed. Maybe it's me but the process in which they use was easy to access and they actually called me back to update me on my blood tests. I was told to arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork. I arrived 15 mins early as directed, the lady at the front desk was very nice. I wait 30 mins past my appointment time, I understand most doctors offices don't run on time. I was taken back by a medical assistant who was cold not very personable or friendly. Once I was in my assigned room I only waited a few mins. Dr. Sutton was great he listen to all my concerns and got me in and out quickly. I spent more time in the waiting area than I did with the doctor. Other than the medical assistant being cold the visit was great. read more

The clinic staff and PA I seen were fine (except for the frequent wristwatch checking during my brief appointment), but the problem is with the MyDrNow after visit support. If you notice all the branch locations have the same phone #, when I called that number for a simple medical question regarding my recent visit I was told the best/only way to contact my clinic was via MyChart portal messaging and that's where the BS began. If you're lucky they may respond in 4-5 days as was in my case the first time, in fact I had to send the same message several times and this happened multiple times. Plus I'm not sure that the same person was reading the comments in the message chain as it's like starting over again each time, this got to be increasingly frustrating each time. I asked twice if someone could please just please call me and we could my concerns resolved real quick, but they either couldn't or wouldn't do that. This went on for almost 3 weeks as I was trying to get a proper referral from them sent to a specialist for review, I NEVER ACTUALLY GOT THE REFERRAL I NEEDED so I told them to just forget the whole thing and said I'll never return to their clinic system again. I just hope this low cost version of medical clinics doesn't fully catch on everywhere, these clinics are basically 'minute clinics' with minimal staff and minimal patient follow-up. Plus where is the actual doctor at? These clinics are staffed with PA's only! read more

I've been coming here for years and never had an issue. Dr. Ship is amazing. Always listens. I like that i can usually get same day appointment for urgent care needs and can schedule online for everything else. Blood work always comes back super fast and all their staff is super nice. Wait time just depends on time of day. Been times where I felt that I had to wait a little too long but it never bothered me. I never feel judged or not heard by the care team. read more

FnP Devin Walker puts me on anti anxiety meds and tells me to slowly ramp up the dosage until I find a comfortable point. He says "let me know if you need more thorough the message center" I asked "do I need to come in?" He says " no. Just use the mychart app and I'll send a higher dose over" When my 30 day supply became a 15 day due to my ramp up, I do just what he asks and they tell me to just pay full price at the pharmacy since insurance won't cover an early refill. So many of my questions would be answered through a simple email to my Dr. But no, this company requires that you make an appointment just so they can bill the insurance company. Even a virtual visit is still billed to the insurance. Get into the 21st century MyDrNow. I like my Dr. so much I come to San Tan all the way from Gilbert. This place has great hours and you can be seen without an appointment, but other than that they are horrible. Calling their call center is beyond poor! My daughter was given an antibiotic that she had a reaction to, so we needed a new one. Dr she saw was off the next day so they could not do anything till he returned. (Really!!) we left a message stating she would need a Z pack, because she has had it before and it worked fine. What do you know the new prescription was called in after our 3rd attempt to reach someone. Lets hope she does not have another reaction to this. If youre a U.S. Veteran, attached to the VA, & was reffered, DON'T come here!!!!!!!!!! No one has a clue how to do their job if we've been reffered! I mean NO ONE! Front desk, billing, providers, etc. Its a nightmare! I've been with them for 4 months, which has been a desaster the entire time! In my INITIAL primary care consult, I told PA Kiara Deem I'm transferring from the Long Beach, CA, VA Hospital, since I JUST moved to the area. Community care at the Phoenix VA reffered me out, and I chose MyDocNow since it's close to me. Remember, this is the INITIAL appointment and I've been in AZ 2 weeks! My medical records were requested from Phoenix VA, NOT Long Beach, which they STILL didn't have at my last appointment, last week in February! That's 3 months later! Why? They requested them from the wrong VA! I didn't get my supplements that were prescribed for me for 2 months since they were sent the wrong places, 2x. 1st mail out with Scipts, then to Walgreen's. It took them 3 tries to figure out where to send them to, which was supposed to be to the VA, so they're covered under insurance. As the patient, I'm NOT responsible to know the inner workings of the VA or My Doc Now, admin process. The physical therapy i needed for my back pain request wasn't submitted correctly by Sara C. for 3 MONTHS! My initial primary care appointment with Kiara Deem was in November, and now it's March, with no appointment yet! The physical therapists office said they called My Doc Now several times to let them know they do NOT submit it directly to them, and need to submit it to the VA, which My Doc Now didn't do until Feb 8! Now, were in March. I only requested a different PT location hadn't gotten back to me for an appointment, BECAUSE Kiara DIDN'T SUBMIT IT CORRECTLY IN NOVEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Instead My Doc Now decided to wait 3 MONTHS to do their job correctly, which wasn't the PT offices fault! Furthermore, since I'm covered under Triwest, care is approved PRIOR to my initial appointment, that i had in November. After my appointment, I had a $100 charge on my account that shoul've been billed to Triwest, and wasnt. I told them i won't be paying for it since it's covered under my insurance, nd they need to to their job and figure it out. The BILLING department, Vanessa P. on MyChart, the app they use to communicate, was so INCAPABLE to resolve the billing issue, that I had to call Triwest and 3 way conversation with My Doc Now, to have them explain billing Triwest to them. I should NOT have had to do that ever! Do you know how much wasted time on this worthless facility I spent, because they were clueless & had to be hand held through this entire process, so they could to do their job correctly?! Now, it's coming up on 4 months because My Doc Now staff are INCAPABLE and SUCK at their jobs (except Trey, the NEW front desk Mgr)! I've NEVER had such a horrible experience with this transfer process [Which Trey wasn't involved with] in all my life, especially the last 20 years I've been a Veteran! Of the 3 appointments I had during the last 3 months, 2 were video appointments. Those 2 providers didn't even look at me when introducing themselves in the begining of our appointment, whom I've never met before. I found that unprofessional and rude. Who looks somewhere else when introducing themselves? **The ONLY 2 REDEEMING factors in my process, was the speed to make an appointment, and 1 person in this process was Trey, the NEW front desk manager, that I trust will get the staff the proper training they need, SOP's in place, who listened well, and helped find solutions. " Because it was under $15.00, but you should have seen that your insurance did not cover your entire bill when you got a statement from them. I don't consider that a bill for the provider and have never had a provider think that was satisfactory billing either. Asked to be provided a bill so I could pay it. As soon as I hung up, received a text message with a bill for $106.12. Called to question and was told I had accrued ten months of late payment fees. He did me a favor and reversed the late fees when I said I would not pay late fees for a bill I was never even notified existed. Very shady billing practices! Do not send bills if balance is less than $15, so you can rack up late fees and then try to collect more? I will never go back to them ! read more

Never have I been treated so poorly at this office, but today, WoW! The receptionist was EXTREMELY rude. There were two people in front of me when I walked in. The first one had to offer several minutes of complaints. The second one was clearly irritated that she had to wait and then Karma came back to her and she kept me waiting for an additional 10 minutes while she had issues checking in. The receptionist was clearly on a call when it was my turn so I patiently waited to be called to the front desk but wanted to keep my distance from others since I was sick. Her greeting to me was "Why haven't you signed in yet?" I explained I wasn't sure if she was ready for me to come to the desk due to her complaining and explaining how much she didn't care about all the people checking in while she was on the phone. Then somehow it was my fault that she could handle her job because she is swamped. I apologized even though I did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to provoke her.
