He sends a completely different worker two days later who shows up with his girlfriend and a child. I told the owner to send the original guys and he refused, said he was losing money. I paid $250 for them to stain four posts, spill stain on my concrete and ladder. He walked off the job and refused to credit me back any money. Very unprofessional and completely unorganized. I was impressed with Arturo's knowledge and professionalism when he came out to give me an estimate. They had to replace some siding and that was a separate estimate from the painting. DON'T JUST TALK ABOUT IT, BE ABOUT IT!…read more This review is for the initial contact for a painting contract, (estimate phase only). Remember, this is the most important part of the painting process because it sets the tone for future work. Also, If the contract is not properly executed, your project will suffer. A few weeks ago I contacted this company to give me an estimate for painting the exterior of my home. The contractor comes out, and I allow him to walk around, make an assessment and give me his opinion. I did not accompany him to point out everything because I wanted to evaluate his thoroughness and attention to detail. He actually did a fairly good job and only missed a couple of things, which could be easily added. On 2/27, I received the following email (in part), along with the estimate: Thank you for giving us the opportunity to provide an estimate. We hope the proposals will meet your expectations. We know and we work convinced that a satisfied client will bring us more clients. Our goal is to become your trusted home maintenance provider. If you have any questions please email or call me at (number removed). I look forward doing business with you. On 2/29, I sent the following: Arturo, I received your estimate and I am waiting for a final written estimate from another company. I appreciated how thorough and detailed the estimate was and I will be in touch. Hopefully, I will be able to make a decision within the next couple of days. Thank you, Madelyn **By the way, the estimate was great, for painting it was a thorough checklist covering every detail and there was a separate contract for wood repair. On March 3, after removing some additional shrubs, I discovered additional areas that needed to be addressed so I sent him a photo of the house to jog his memory, (phone) and a detailed list, (email) of those additional concerns. I needed him to let me know if he would be able to complete the additional work so that we could adjust the contract accordingly. It has been several days and I have not heard from Arturo. Now let's review his words "We know and we work convinced that a satisfied client will bring us more clients. Our goal is to become your trusted home maintenance provider. If you have any questions please email or call me. I look forward doing business with you". Really? It all seems like just a bunch of malarkey because if he was really interested in obtaining my business, he would have returned my call in a timely manner. Am I upset? No! This is where I say "Thank you Arturo" for helping me make my final decision. If a contractor is going to have poor communication and go MIA, you definitely want to see this before you sign the contract so that you know exactly how business will be conducted. Contractors: Even if you decide that you are no longer available to service a client, you need to keep it professional and inform the client so that he or she can simply move forward. A simple email will suffice. Don't just talk about it, be about it! I am not interested in the words used to try and seduce me into doing business with your company, I am interested in your behavior. If you want my business, you need to earn it and that starts with timely communication and professionalism.

Plenty of companies I contacted weren't even interested in the job as it was "too small" (it was about 35 sq ft of drywall, 15 feet across and 2-3 feet deep in parts and pieces) or they quoted me over 1000 dollars for repair. Ezra came in and did the whole piece, including insulation, drywall, AND painting, all of which were excellent, for an incredibly fair price, honestly almost 50% below what other contractors were quoting.
