My wife and I had take out from here, but this was our first time dining in. The restaurant is very nice, don't let the strip mall location deter you. We started off with a classic margarita and a Skinny Guava, both excellent. For dinner, my wife had the Chorizo chicken with corn tortillas meal. I had the shrimp enchiladas. They were both delicious and very light on the cilantro which is a bonus for me.( taste like soap). We ended the night with another round of drinks and some Flan. We ate at the bar and the bartender (Matt) was fairly new. He was already knowledgeable on the menu and made fantastic drinks. It is going to be our local go to for Mexican! read more

12:30 on a Sunday Ordered tamales and steak street tacos. Chicken in the tamale was super dry and the tamale was very thick. The "steak" looked like ground beef and was also super dry. Ok, I go here often, and that's because the food is good and the service is friendly and attentive. The ambiance is typical strip mall meh. But the last several times I've been the place has been an ice box. Had to wear a heavy coat through the entire meal as did every other customer who was there when I was. Food: great; seating: needs work. My first time at My Cielo was on a hopping Friday night. My dad and I were surprised how busy it was for an early dinner. Warm, fresh tortilla chips and salsa at the table first thing was a great start. Service was friendly and quick. My tacos were fresh and flavorful. My dad mentioned his burrito was onion heavy, but it was good otherwise. One of the biggest down sides was the closeness of the tables. It was like sharing a communal table with the people seated on either side. This made conversation hard on top of the ambient chatter and music. One poor gent knocked a chair trying to navigate the tight space while leaving the banquet side. My mind was blown when I noticed a waitress trying to navigate a fresh guacamole station. I think I'd return for a lunch or weeknight dinner. I really wanted to rate this higher but the experience soured the overall quality of the food and service. read more

So here's the deal. Their website says they deliver. But they really don't. They use DoorDash. That's fine, but there's zero mention of this on their website. So you go to mycielo.com, you click order online, you click delivery - no hint whatsoever that they outsource their delivery. This would be fine, except that when door dash doesn't accept their order then your credit card gets charged (charged twice actually but that's another story) then your food sits. Then you call them (because the order status link on their website has you call the restaurant). And that's when they tell you it's not them it's door dash. So my food is now cold and my credit card has been charged, and there's no food on the way. I will never ever ever order online from My Cielo again. I suggest you don't either unless you go pick it up yourself. read more

If you haven't stopped into this place...DO IT!!! The food is excellent and the staff is so welcoming. The tacos don't disappoint and do yourself a favor and grab some churros for dessert (you will not regret it). The restaurant is cozy and inviting. Will be back here on the regular! read more

Ground chicken rather than shredded, come on now chicken is not that expensive. Rice had no taste and drinks not so good for $18.00 each. Noticed all bar items now lack prices on their menus. Left $90.00 there and did not even complete 1/2 my meal. Been going there from when they first opened but will not bother from this point on. read more

SO glad that we decided to come in tonight- the atmosphere is fun and inviting, love the decor. service was prompt and super friendly. our bartender and the servers all had great vibes, and were very attentive. and the food...! absolutely delicious. fresh, well-seasoned, and authentic. the tacos were delicious- although a bit on the dry side. and it sounds ridiculous, but the side of rice was out of this world. light, fluffy, flavorful... i've never wanted rice so much! can't wait to come back; this is truly a great spot! read more

Won't be going back. They're margaritas all all juice no tequila. We recently ordered chicken tacos and a chicken burrito bowl and they were made with some kind of ground meat, not shredded chicken. The only water option we were given was bottled so they could up charge. Seems to me they are cutting many corners on quality. Don't waste your time or $$$$ I would give it a half star if I the app allowed. read more

I really wanted to like my cielo. Tried the verde enchiladas which sounded good. The salsa verde was sour and the cheese was way underdone. Beans and rice were cold. My brother got a steak burrito which really lacked flavor period. I have had way better. I will go to casa tequila on Seabrook next time. It's too bad. My cielo is definitely a step up from La Carreta. I really liked the murals on the walls. The bar set up was nice. Came here for lunch and got the chicken quesadillas which were absolutely delicious. Next time I'll have to get a margarita as I've heard those are also yummy. This time just stuck to a Corona. Our server was really nice and super helpful. I had lunch with the better half today at My Cielo. I have to say that I was very underwhelmed with the food. I heard good things, but after a 45 dollar bill for two burritos and two cokes, not impressed. The food was dry and lacked flavor. I had to bring up the fact the charges did not match the menu pricing. I'll try it again but not for lunch, too pricy. There are better options for less $$$$. read more

My son and I ate here yesterday after his socccer game. The food was delicious! We had the Cochinita Pitbil Tacos. My son said they were the best tacos he's ever had! We sat outside to eat, which we live to do on a nice day. The service was great! The girl serving us was so nice and very attentive. Ive been to this place several times. The first time i walked in i thought the sewer was backed up it smelled so bad but you realize thats just how it smells. The food is pretty good but yesterday we ordered a diet coke which on prior visits was served in a bottle. This time was served in a glass that was almost all ice. When i asked for a refill they did so but charged me $1.50!!! We also asked for another basket of chips ans were also charged for those. We will never return! read more
