I understand what this place is going for with the organic coffee, almond milk, good local food vibe - I appreciate that. The food is a tad on the pricey side for breakfast, but it was good. I had the Migas - they were great, nice corn tortillas, coffee was good. The one thing that stood out was the smell! They were cleaning the tables I think with a very strong smelling product, and that's all I could smell, it was almost nauseating right when I walked in the door. I want to smell bacon, not bleachy chemical - when I'm eating. Seating is decent, it's a smaller place, servers were attentive sporadically - I did have my coffee refilled decently, and food was timely, but it took a while to initially take our order. I think overall, if you want to have the more natural & local ingredients, you need the "nicer" restaurant vibe to match the prices. The white paint on the walls was not neat, and it had more of a trendy diner feel. I would however return, the food & coffee was good enough for another visit. read more

Restaurant was very clean & service was amazing! Lot of people working. I had the southwest chicken wrap & sweet potato fries. The wrap was wonderful. I had the jalapeños removed & it was just the right amount of spiciness. Chicken was tasty & avocado was fresh. The waffle sweet potato fries was an up charge of $1 and came in small bowl. The only complaint I have is there was only 8-9 waffle fries. I would have liked more than that. My husband had chicken & waffle. He said it was really good. Good size portion. I'm so glad this restaurant has opened nearby. We have watched their hard work on this space just before the Covid shutdowns and are thrilled that they have finally been able to open! We wanted something new and different here in Flower Mound and after looking at reviews we thought let's try them out. We travel the world and eat at the most amazing restaurants in different countries. I ended up ordering the special and decided I didn't want it. The owner came up and right away ordered me something different. Not only was I shocked but couldn't praise them enough. The outstanding service, the amazing respectful staff and the fresh and hot food makes me love this place even more. I highly recommend this restaurant not only for the food but great service. BAD Experience I called about missing items on my order they said they were to busy and if I had a issue call the police. I will never eat here again worst service ever and very rude, I was hung up on twice. My order number was 1016 if the owner wishes to see who was managing that day because he refused to give us his name. We are Mexicans who migrated to this country hired by American companies and now we have decided to invest our assets here in Texas. We own 2 businesses where we employ, support the community, and pay taxes, in short, we are decent people. In the 9 years that we have been in this country, we have NEVER had any type of racist incident, on the contrary, we have always had an excellent relationship with our neighbors, community, and colleagues, until yesterday. Yesterday, April 22nd, 2023, around 11 am, my daughter, and her two friends (of Asian origin) went to the restaurant MY CAFE to have lunch. All 3 are students from Flower Mound High School, so they are not strangers to the area. The fact was that they were assigned a table and the hostess informed them that no one in the establishment wanted to give them the service, so that they would have to wait over an hour for the host to serve them or go to another restaurant. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE, a SHAME, and even more annoying when they do it to young people who still don't know how to defend themselves. Clearly a discriminatory episode. We will never go to this restaurant again where their employees are discriminatory and of course we do not recommend it. Such a Shame. read more

We had breakfast at My Cafe in Flower Mound this morning for the first time. We REALLY loved it and will definitely be back! It is very clean and decorated so cute! Love the country music playing. But now, onto the important part...the food! We went in thinking we were going to look for oatmeal on the menu, but after a few minutes at looking at the menu, the healthy choice was out the window (although there are lots of healthy choices on the menu)! There were just too many delicious options to choose from! Wow! They offer such a variety! The food was amazingly quick! It was hot and fresh. I had the "Mom's Breakfast", which could have been called the "Dad's Breakfast"! It was so filling! I asked for cheese on top of my scrambled egg and I loved that they didn't upcharge for the sprinkling of cheese on top, which most places will do. We loved that the syrup was warmed, when they brought the butter and syrup bottle on the side (an important added touch!) My husband ordered the Tex-Mex omelette, which was a three egg omelette, which he loved! He ordered the house potatoes and had onions added to those.
