I found Dr. Sanjay Bardwaj to be professional, thorough and overall invested in my care. After one session he was able to alter my gait which had been off for months post knee surgery. I went there with back pain did the xrays and blood test dr Jon Siegel calculated 40 visits that I didn't need, the front office told me they were associated with my health insurance( they weren't ) I had several visits, feeling better I went there and told them I didn't needed to continue with the treatment, 1 month later I found charges from this office called and told them to stop it, and I found more charges again for the same amount this month , called again they told me i had schedule 40 visits! I've gotten help at BodyWorx for neck and shoulder pain that other chiropractors and acupuncturists before them were unsuccessful in treating. They are kind, attentive, thorough and current. Massage by Nikolette and Chiropractic assessment. Pros: 1) Massage was good; 2) nice office; 3) have parking. Cons: 1) While I was getting my chiropractic assessment doctor said that I need to get x-ray and take some tests, I said that I just got tests like 6 month ago, he said that they too old and didn't even looked at them; 2) annoying with text and calls about X-ray, I got assessment and I didn't want to have any adjustments, I tried to be nice and said that I'll let them know if I get my x-ray, but they were still was calling and texting about reminding to do it. What a joke of a place. I called to make an appointment and wanted to know if they were Webster certified as I was looking for a chiropractor that was due to pregnancy symptoms that suggested I use someone who is. The woman on the phone was so rude and assumed I was a solicitor of some sort and hung up on me before I could even explain why I was asking. The staff is absolutely excellent. I was having extreme neck pain and found out via xry's that it was from slight scoliosis in two different areas of my spine. After 6 months of therapy my posture is much better and I can feel the alignment in my spine has healed. I do recommend going through with the program they offer. It is time consuming but worth it. I have been going to this office for massage. Also I was getting the Myers Cocktail. At one point I purchased a pillow from them at $86 and then found out I could have purchased it for $45. The office offered me a free B12 shot when I complained. Not exactly what I wanted but ok. Then I discovered the Myers cocktail did absolutely nothing for me so I stopped the shots which are also expensive. When the massage therapist left in September I was supposed to get a refund of my last two massages It is now the end November and I have been given the run around for the past two months. This wonderful place has helped me correct my posture, get rid of the hump starting to show on my back and is assisting me to get the "S" curve back in my neck. In my late 60's with arthritis down my right side, through a series of exercises, adjustments, electrical stimulation and massage I've been able to accomplish these goals in 4 1/2 months vs 30 + years of pain and suffering by going 3 times a week to the studio and doing the exercises at home the other 4 days a week. The inflammation is gone and I'm balanced posture-wise. The entire staff is very friendly. Dr. Jon Segal is marvelous as is Nicolette, the massage therapist. It's convenient to get to in West Delray and there's plenty of parking. I see the healing of patients of all ages. I have had quite a few massages in my lifetime for the purpose of finding relief from my shoulder and back pain. I find that a deep muscle massage really works best. Although at the time of the massage it can border on painful, working the "knots" and relaxing them really helps me. Nicole is a very skilled therapist. She always asks if there are any areas in particular that need attention. I usually tell her my priorities and ask her to dedicate as much time as she feels necessary. I prefer to have Nicole pay attention to the troubled areas as opposed to feeling pressured to massage every part of my body. I have had more than 1 massage with Nicole, and in a very short time she has learned the trouble spots that I have. She is able to apply the right amount of pressure, and she also senses when it is to much. Nicole also seems to incorporate massage techniques such as Shiatsu into her massage. Dr Segal only seems concerned with bringing patients into his business and taking their money. After my intake, he never helped or dealt with me again. He actually does nothing for you. He farms you out to Dr Frank a chiropractor. Very nice but does the standard chiropractic thing. Then you do neck traction and head weighting with a tec. I went to my bodyworkx in July 2018,in search of a new Chiropracter to help alleviate neck pain from car accidents.I had been hit from behind on 2 separate occasions from 2011-2013causing a lot of problems with my neck and back.I was going to a very good chiropractor and who was definitely giving me some temporary relief but even after adjustments my neck would go back to having that "jammed up feeling", I even went to a neurologist who told me I would eventually need surgery as my C5&6 had very little space left. When I met dr John he explained I would go for X-rays and also Gave me the most thourough explanation of how the process of head weighting and shoulder weighting plus their adjustments and neck extractions would not only give me a permanent fix but also correct my posture and give me more space in vertebra Without Surgery! I was skeptical at first but figured what the hell,nothing else was helping! The accidents had also given me herniated disks in my T12-L3 not to mention and old coccyx break ,and also had winged scapula from a 2015 incident,which had improved a lot but still wasn't perfect. I started my plan with bodyworkx and was immediately happy with this office! From Laura and Lucia at the front desk,to Lily who showed me how to use equipment and set me up every time I came in .Lily is an absolute pleasure,friendly knowledgeable and clearly loves her job. I really enjoyed going for a visit and gaining lots of knowledge from him on my procedure, and WHY it will be beneficial before jumping into anything. He walked me through every single concept he offers and its benefits, from in depth weight loss programs, to just a simple infrared sauna visit and/or body contouring that carries its great benefits as well (gotta give this a try*). I had a great experience and best part about it was that I actually FELT and SAW results the next day. Now I'm not a person that has much weight/body fat to lose but I do need a RESTART button every 6 months to a year & this is a healthy way of doing so.
