Show up at scene of accidents to convince you to use their company. Even had me talk on new employees cell phone with boss and pressure me into using them... promising TD uses them and will pay, and when I said they may not as no collision if deemed my daughters fault. Said their yard is used by TD and is cheaper tow company. I would never have agreed to a tow far south as I love very north. $75 in km charged, plus admin fee... tow bill was $262.50. The owner/boss is shady and not true to his word at all. However I will say Mahmoud was fantastic when he came to open yard and wait close to an hour possibly for me to unload my personal belongings from my vehicle. He was friendly, kind, and gentle and also said if TD didn't pay they usually don't charge. I could recommend Mahmoud if it was only him. Ryan was also someone that was sent to open gates today for me for the sale and moving of my vehicle. For them I can agree to a "gate fee" I was charged... however the km and admin fee is preposterous. $262 for a tow is definitely cheaper than others. Complete crooks. Forcing people to pay cash to keep it off record. No notice of tow, and no notice of vehicle location. Parked my car infront of garage, as it was full of roommates vehicle and my other belongings, on back side of my townhouse to plug in for -35 Marc, unplugged my vehicle and towed it with out notice. DO NOT CALL. I WAS ASSAULTED BY ONE OF THEIR DRIVERS. They said that they would be around 45 minutes. An hour and a half later get a call from the guy and told him not to bother. I ended up calling someone else. 20 minutes pass and the second guy from a different company arrives. A minute passes and the driver from MY Big Tow arrives and then decided to get physical. He pushed the other driver, and pushed me. I had to strike him in the chest in order to get him to leave. Threatening to call the cops did nothing. I called their dispatch and they just yelled at me, calling me names. You took too long so I called someone else, and cancelled with you. Deal with it. These people are insane. read more

Predatory and Dishonest Practices -- Please Read On Wednesday, July 9th, 2025 our vehicle was towed from a private hospital parking lot. When discovered we contacted the towing company, "My Big Tow" and we were told it was "after hours" (7:00 PM at the time) so we'd have to wait until the next day to pick it up. The vehicle was towed after 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 9th, and we picked it up at 9:50 AM on Thursday, July 10th -- yet we were charged $428 for two full days in their lot. We asked for a receipt and itemized breakdown in person and via text, and were completely ignored. We received no documentation showing where the vehicle was picked up from, the time, or the date. The lot was unmarked, and there was no signage or legal office. The men we dealt with were highly suspicious. They do not accept credit cards -- only cash, debit, or e-transfer. Thankfully, we paid by e-transfer, so we have proof of the payment. We now have an active report filed with Consumer Investigations and are also working with Edmonton Police Services (EPS) regarding this incident. Very rude and unresponsible operators They damaged my car. And they charge me $370 less than 20 minutes drive . they are scammers.

Called them Saturday to get my vehicle towed - it was very cold and the battery (7 years old) was original and seems to have finally died. I called, spoke with a woman who quoted $85 plus gst, and said she "had a car really close". 45 minutes later, a truck with two guys showed up. I'd been expecting a tow truck with cables or something, but they just pulled up, walked over with a small hand-held charging box. Attached cables, and it started. I'd have to drive to my auto mechanic right away so there was some urgency. He said "pay now?" I said of course $85 plus gst. He said "no, $100 plus gst". I was in no position to argue since it was freezing cold and I had to get to the auto place before it stalled or something. I paid. Bought a replacement battery, and then decided to email the company and mention the issue with a different price AT the car. The person "Kamel Barhoumi" replied and said "sorry" and that they'd e-transfer the money for the overcharge back to me. I've replied a second time as well. Still waiting read more

Had my vehicle towed and they held it in an extremely sketchy lot overnight. They charged me $420 to get my truck back and wouldn't release it unless I paid them (this is illegal). I should have called the cops on these fools but I needed my vehicle back. Unbelievable, disgusting creatures running this business. I came on to check reviews because I was sure this wasn't a legitimate company my experience with them yesterday was so terrible and felt like a scam. My vehicle was towed and taken to a very sketchy lot, to which I was texted an address and had to wait for someone to arrive. The payment to release my vehicle was taken over his cell phone calling in to a person my credit card info followed by insisting on taking a photo of my ID before releasing my car to me, and when I became uncomfortable with that idea I was told that was the only way I was getting my car back, it's how it's done. When I asked how was I to know if they were a legitimate business his only answer was that I had their business card. No professional looking tow truck or lot, building, uniform or conduct. At best it's a money making operation but I will be on high alert for any other fall out from this terrible experience. read more

I honestly don't know why there are bad reviews for these guys. My truck got impounded and worked with me to get it out. They where super helpful. I'd they didn't do what they did, I'd have to declare bankruptcy. It turns out the caliper was leaking break fluid so bad I couldn't even drive it home. I offered to send the guy and extra 50 for the day it would be sitting there and he refused. He was a total stand up guy and it wasn't for him I'd be without a vehicle and it would have got repossessed. If you guys ever read this, thank you for everything you guys are life savers read more

My brother had an accident on June 10, 2020 and for some reason he gave my number to this the big tow company. I advised them I am not the person that was in the accident and l gave them my brother's contact info. When they couldnt get ahold of my brother. They called me relentless day and night to threatening me to pay my brother's tow bill. The person calling refuse to tell me their identity and told me they will harass me until they speak with my brother. They even said they will call me from unknown numbers until this bill is settled. This is the most unprofessional company that l never had the pleasure to access nor will l ever want to ever use their services. I dont know why they harass complete stranger but they are simple unprofessional and unethical. read more

They went above and beyond for me. My truck was totalled and I still needed to pick up my cheque from work. Bryan drove me to and from work and home again. He helped me through the whole process with insurance because it wasn't my fault and I was shellshocked. Just amazed at the professionalism and he REALLY saved the day. read more
