The place itself felt like it may have once been luxury apartments that eventually got converted into a hotel. It definitely had that "someone's old apartment" kind of vibe. I kept the windows closed since the view was directly into nearby businesses, and the A/C unit's light was blinking, likely needing a new filter. I found this hotel through a Priceline "VIP discount," but it didn't feel very VIP. Parking also wasn't included, and when I politely asked about it, the front desk agent immediately got defensive, saying I should have booked it when making the reservation before even checking my file. When I asked how I could tell if it was included, she snapped that "it says it on the website," though I never saw the website since I booked through Priceline. The interaction happened around 3:30pm, so it wasn't even late at night. On the bright side, the Monday morning team was much more pleasant, which helped end the stay on a better note.
