Without question repaired (I believe they cut entirely new jackets) and mailed them. I couldn't be happier with the quality or the customer service. I'm on the way back to order a couple more sport coats!

They were able to recut my jacket and fix the crooked part and help deliver it to my office. I appreciate the effort in their resolution / believe the jacket was finally cut to the quality that everyone speaks about when it comes to Martin Greenfield. I truly wish the business the best of luck. --------------------------------------------- DO NOT GO HERE. I have NO idea where they got their credibility from because they are scammers and the worst tailors I have ever dealt with. I came here after getting stellar reviews from friends and I regret every dollar I spent here. I bought 2 suits from here for my wedding and not only did they mess up my suit jacket, they continued to pretend they were fixing it when they weren't. I noticed the front edge of my jacket was crooked and I told them about it. They said they could fix it no problem. When I went to pick it up, it looked exactly the same. I asked them to fix it again and their pattern maker said the jacket was cut wrong and he would fix it himself. At this point we are a week away from my wedding because they kept saying they would fix it when they didn't. When I came to pick it up the day before my wedding, they told me they couldn't fix it in time and that after my wedding I could bring it back to get it fixed. I brought it back after my wedding and gave them 3 weeks to fix it. What do you know, AGAIN, they give me the SAME jacket, completely untouched and STILL CROOKED. I had a friend who is a pattern maker look at this jacket and the only way to fix it is to RECUT THE SUIT. Which Martin Greenfield is clearly too cheap to fix his own mistSince then, I have called 3 times which has led me to their front desk person who keeps taking my number down and saying someone will call me. No one calls me back. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT AN ACTUAL CUSTOM SUIT. Go to Enzo Customs in midtown if you're looking for solid guys who won't mess up your suit and then keep tricking you by telling you they'll fix it when they won't. PLEASE SEE PICTURES FOR THE WORST SUIT YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE.

One of those truly inexplicable overall Yelp ratings to me. I had a couple suits tailored here,…read moreand I wouldn't ever use them again. A. Extremely expensive. Both suits required a moderate amount of work but nothing major, and I was charged about $350 total -- no specifics, more of a holistic billing approach. But the Yelp reviews were very positive (even better at the time than they are now) so I was willing to shell out. B. The work was very clearly farmed out to someone else, and was done terribly. One of the pants was taken in so far in the seat that about half my butt fit inside it. Nelson's response was to say "oh, one of my guys must have done that" and he fixed it in about ten minutes, and to his credit fixed it very well. I have no idea who that other guy was or how he could possibly have believed a human ass would have been covered by his tailoring, but he was not ready for his assignments. The other pants were cut similarly, but I was fed up and just left -- before I even noticed that the sleeves on one of the jackets were uneven. Nelson himself is probably a great tailor, as evidenced by his cleanup job, but whoever he's giving work to...well, you might as well do it yourself with nail scissors and floss. C. It took forever. I finally called after 5 weeks or so and was told that "your suits have been here forever, we left you several messages, why haven't YOU picked up your suits?" This was, of course, blatantly not true . . . especially since I then showed up, and only one of my suits was there (the other still with Tailor X, as he figured out how to eliminate more butt fabric). PSA: take your stuff elsewhere. You've been warned.

I don't recommend them for alterations or repairs - a simple request to re-sew a cuff was done a bit shoddily - but for cleaning they're consistently good enough for me to go fifteen blocks out of my way to bring my clothes here. I wish they'd be a bit more forthcoming on the cleaning process they use (they claim they're green, but that could mean anything) and oh dear heavens are they pricey. Although the slightly longer turnaround time for a custom suit (vs. normal off-the-rack suit) was not possible with my schedule at this time, I plan to return in the near future to go the custom route. The selection was fantastic, and I ended up purchasing four suits and two sports jackets. Great designs--modern, but nothing over the top. The wash was done OK most of the time. But there were times we would get stuff back and it just wasnt clean. Here's what I mean. We had stuff we wanted washed a certain way and hung on hangers. We would get it back with marks on it instead of clean. Never anything major but it was not as it should be. This Sunday we got our stuff back and didnt inspect it. My wife starts to get her stuff ready for work later and discovers ALL of her work clothes look like they were wet down and then used to mop a floor and hung on hangers after. This is at 1130pm, so guess what I have to do at almost midnight on Sunday??? Find a 24 hour laundromat and do wash. I wish I could post a picture to show just how messed up it was. The only reason this is not a 1 star review is because the owner is a really nice guy. He did try to save us as a customer but just had too many excuses. I demanded our money back and he did return it but I just cant take my stuff someplace that I have to worry will do the job this poorly. EDIT: This place also does a really poor job on dry cleaning and pressing, which is why I went back to using Dartmouth cleaners
