She was friendly and informative, and assured me she was there for me. When I did conceive, As things progressed something seemed to be wrong, and again, Brandy assured me that no matter the outcome, she would be there to help us through. Sadly, we suffered fetal demise only 9 weeks in. She walked me through my entire miscarriage process, and continued to check in with with me as I went through it at home. Later in the year, I had yet another miscarriage, and again, she walked me through every step. She still checks in with me as my husband and I try again, and I'm more than grateful for her dedication. For the naturopathic side, my 7 year old has had Tummy problems since she was two. Under the care of Seattle children's GI, they gave her heavy laxatives and diet change. With this treatment, my daughter experienced incontinence. I had discussed with them that I didn't not want the meds to be a permanent solution, and they assured me it was for just 6months. They said that for 4 years, all the while adding more meds and no other suggestions. After they finally told me they had no intention of taking her off meds and there was nothing wrong with her taking powerful laxatives permanently, I had had enough, and took her to Dr. Brandy, whose competence I had already seen in abundance. She asked two questions that should have been asked by the GI clinic years ago: "had she ever had PT for her pelvic floor?", and "has anyone tried the food allergy elimination diet?" No, they had not. After less than a month of food allergy elimination, she was off 2 of the 3 meds, her body was doing exactly what it should, her tummy hurt less, and even her asthma had gone away. We are 2 months in, and she's almost off her last med, and she's making lots of progress with her incontinence. I'm astounded by the change, and I'm a true believer now in naturopathy more than I ever was. Thank you, Brandy, for being there to help my family in so many different ways.

I'm sharing my experience with Dr. Farook to warn others about her billing practices, which I found…read moremisleading and unfair. I scheduled a routine annual check-up and went to the office, where I was weighed and had my blood pressure and temperature taken -- standard procedures for a yearly exam. When Dr. Farook entered the room, she asked how I was feeling and if I had any concerns. As soon as I responded, the appointment was reclassified as a "problem visit" instead of a routine check-up -- a change that significantly impacts how the visit is billed to your insurance. Annual check-ups are usually covered in full by insurance, but problem visits may not be, and I was never informed of this switch during the appointment. I later received a surprise bill. When I contacted the office for clarification, I was told that the "after-visit summary" would reflect the billing codes. However, this wasn't communicated clearly at the time of the visit. As someone over 50 who has had many annual check-ups with various doctors, I've always discussed general health concerns during these appointments without unexpected billing changes. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. In my opinion, Dr. Farook was not transparent about how her services would be billed. If you choose to visit her, I strongly recommend asking upfront how any discussion during your visit might affect billing -- especially before answering general questions like "How are you feeling?" I do not recommend Dr. Farook due to this lack of transparency.

Throughout preparing for and delivering my daughter, Kristin worked with me for over 30 hours. She's a stellar doula. At the time she was working as my doula, she had already delivered over 350 babies throughout her 20 year career. Her experience showed through in every interaction I had with her. Every question I had she could answer not only with broad knowledge, but also with specific examples from past deliveries. She knows birth inside and out. Beyond her deep knowledge and experience, she is also incredible at holding space and advocating for a mother-to-be through the birthing process. My original plan was to deliver at a midwifery clinic, but I had to transfer care to a hospital a week before my labor started. This unexpected change of plans would have been massively stressful had it not been for Kristin's steady consistency and emotional presence through the process. Her experience in both birth centers and hospitals again showed through to me. Throughout labor and delivery, she guided me through with clear suggestions and a calm demeanor. Because of her presence and the preparation I had from her class, I was confident in my ability to delivery vaginally without medication. She taught me (and reminded me in the moment) of the details of each stage of labor and how I could best empower myself through the process. She also helped me to be a strong advocate for myself and my own control over the birth process, which was invaluable in my transition to hospital delivery. One of my favorite things about Kristin was her passion for integrating my partner in the birth process, from the birth classes through delivery participation. My partner was well prepared and confident to be fully present in the birth process. Kristin is an excellent coach, guide and guru from the classroom to the delivery suite, and I couldn't recommend her more strongly. She also gave our daughter one of her first gifts during one of our follow up appointments with her!

After contacting them to ask about a service, Debora reached out to me telling me it would be X price for a certain number of treatments. I was interested in moving forward and started setting up a consultation. While I was making the consultation, a separate email came a couple days later, also from Debra, responding to my inquiry with a completely different price (almost 50% more expensive!). I tried to clarify that I would be willing to pay the first price, but not the second one, and asked if that was ok. This is when things got weird - when I brought up the two separate quotes, instead of apologizing Debra got defensive and refused to answer which price she would actually charge. She said I would just have to wait and see about the price until I came in for the consultation. Her responses seemed very rude and condescending to me. For example, when I asked why the price changed she responded "Our promotions change from month to month and quotes can be valid for two weeks". Since it was still less than a week since I was sent the first price, I tried asking whether the first price would still be valid if I came and paid for it within two weeks. But she refused to answer - I asked directly "could the price be different depending on whether I come in before the 2 week period?" and "is there still a possibility of getting the first price if the consultation goes well, or are you only offering the second price now?" She flat out refused to answer these questions and just said I would need to come in to find out (without any clarity on whether I should come in within the two weeks.) As someone with a busy schedule, I don't want to come in for an appointment if she is no longer considering the originally quoted price. Why waste everyone's time? Obviously things can change during the consult, but no other medispa has ever had an issue discussing their specials and base prices with me. I found this entire exchange super frustrating and I don't understand Debra's motivations unless she is trying to pressure me into paying more than I'm willing to, or just intentionally being rude and defensive about her mistake of sending two separate prices. I feel that she has wasted my time by telling me different things and making this simple discussion needlessly complicated. I can't imagine what she would be like to deal with if an actual issue came up! NuMe has offered the same service at the lower price quoted from Debra, so I will be going there. It was very easy to discuss this same information with them. It's a shame about Debra's poor customer service because I was looking forward to trying this place.
