Place was a bit pricey, but otherwise nice. Food and atmosphere are good and comfortable. Staff need to work on their attitude towards customers! They also will not do any sort of birthday anything for children amd its 10-12$ for a small cake-thing for the child which was disappointing. But the food is very good! read more

I took my mom to eat at MVPs for her 29th birthday (her choice). When we arrived the restaurant was very slow for a Sunday at noon after church. The restaurant was clean, the waitstaff was attentive but just a little slow for a slower day. It took our waiter a long time to come back with refills and ur ticket etc. He was very friendly. I had the Southwest chicken which was really good. The rice was just a little too salty. My mom had the steak kbobs and she said they were very good. Overall it was a good experience. read more

We went there for dinner. Had the crawfish they were very big sizes which was nice. They have great spicy flavor so be prepared. The potatoes, corn and pineapple sausage was great too. The Boudin balls were so yummy as well as the jumbo pretzel(so bit took half of it to go) . Staff was great for a busy Saturday evening . Pricing of the food was great. Took my daughter to eat crawfish. We ordered the same plate. They decided to sort my meal, the piece of sausage I added. When they brought it out. It was very expensive for young people. Food was good! Chicken sandwich was juicy and the chicken is almost hilariously large, about double the size of the sandwich. Potato skins are fun, they top them with mashed potatoes so it's almost like twice baked potatoes. Very tasty. The staff isn't wearing masks at all during a global pandemic so... There's that. It was weird they were out of fried pickles and all kinds of wings, boneless and bone-in, and sat us without warning us - that's literally what we were gonna get. MVPs is a new restaurant it's a sports bar restaurant with a variety of foods to choose from. They have pictures of local residents who have become professional athletes on tables which is Verrett interesting. My husband had the ribs, French fries and mashed potatoes he said he loved the food he also had fried pickles that he enjoyed. I had the chicken fried steak I must say it was one of the best one's I've tasted, my sides consisted of rice pilaf and garlic mashed potatoes whicH was also great. My husband and I also tried the alcoholic beverages which was the hurricane and huckleberry dream thumbs up for the drinks. Everything we had was good and wood definitely eat there again. read more

First things first- this place would thrive in a large city as well as the cute town of Jasper! First impressions- Up to date interior, kind inviting staff, and solid menu. I took a bar seat because I enjoy the conversation and was told their cocktails were worth the try. The drink was well made, both bartenders have pervious experience and were very attentive. We ordered our lunch at the bar as well. First dish was chicken tenders and fries. The tenders were not over battered or had any indication of being previously frozen. They were fresh and crispy just like I make at home. The second dish I ordered was chicken Alfredo. The unique spin they put on the dish was at the least refreshing! Has some fresh veggies and the sauce was not cakey. It was flavorful and smooth. Beautiful sauce. The best part however was the grilled chicken. Amazingly friendly staff. Beer taps full from the bottom of the cup so taps are super clean. Beer was great. The food was good. My hubs had the beef kabob and I had the triple play. The one thing I would say that was a small con was the fried mushrooms were slightly soggy but all in all it was a great experience. Service was terrible. Waited ten minutes before waiter came to table. After he brought our food he never came back to table until he dropped the ticket. My dinner was incomplete. They left off the garlic bread. He never came back for us to pay so we went to the front and waited. He finally came and took our money. Food - I ordered grilled chicken pasta. Good variety, at our table we had orders of burgers, pizza, wings, and shrimp and everyone said it was good. Red beans and rice were excellent. Waitress was attentive. Little bit cold in there, air conditioning was definitely up high so if you're someone that's usually cold there is outdoor dining or bring a jacket. Depending on who you get depends on the quality of service here. Brent is wonderful, makes your visit personable, mostly he is attentive and his customer service is in my opinion overall the best among employees. For this reason he tends to stay the busiest, so be patient with him, He runs to accommodate. Some servers are not polite with their initial greeting, and can put off the I really don't care about how or when you get your food. The restaurant could improve their prices and in some meals the quality of the food. So it really depends on what you get. Nutritional value here is not taken into consideration here, that's for sure. Freshness of vegetables and other foods could also be improved. read more

walked in and waited over 15 minutes for our waiter, Ashely. along with the rest of the tables she had. The host went and got our drink order. after about 25 minutes Ashley finally came around to to introduce herself and proceeded to tell us that we would probably have to call her name because she "gets to busy". the host then came back to our table and took our food order along with the other tables, running drinks and food, while still seating other customers. Ashley did not come around to her other tables the entire meal. luckily for us the host Jessica was extremely apologetic and made sure we were taken care of. We tried out MVPs on a Friday night and they were packed! We only waited about 10 minutes before we were seated. The atmosphere is really neat. Service was quick and efficient. The food took a little while to come out, but that was to be expected as busy as the restaurant was. Great menu selection and delicious food. The only negative was the portions were rather small.
