I came to this beauty supply during construction being done in the whole plaza. I was so glad they were open. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a young lady. I quickly found the braiding hair I was looking for and checked out. This beauty supply is pretty big and has a nice selection of braiding hair. I was in a rush so I didn't get any pics. I will say compared to other beauty supplies in the area they are about $2-$3 dollars higher than some other supply stores. I paid $10.99 for this particular brand I use but at another local store it's only $8.99 (but they were sold out of my 1b which is why I opted for MVP beauty). Overall my experience was a 9/10! I would visit again. read more

Went with friends to buy some hair to add to braids. Great prices and the staff were super helpful. I had no idea all of the stuff that women can use to change hairstyles. I'm now educated thanks to the staff. Great experience. Lots of wigs and hair... wow. I never knew! read more

Went on Saturday. Lots of products. Glad they were open during construction. Prices are pretty reasonable.

I appreciate that MVP beauty has a good selection/variety of products and is typically well stocked with beauty essentials, the store is well organized; however, I am less impressed and rather disappointed in significant and steep price hikes for products that used to be offered at competitive prices. Due to such high price increases, shopping here no longer offers customers value for money spent. The staff at MVP don't really offer engaging or friendly service (while it's not entirely bad) the owners or management is certainly far more consumed with surveilling customers from cameras and you don't feel valued as a customer. Consumers could most definitely spend less for a better shopping experience elsewhere. They have sample products available with purchases' but only if you ask for them neither do they don't offer any type of loyalty program like other stores. MVP is closed on Sundays which is also inconvenient to shoppers who aren't able to shop during the week; nevertheless, I'd encourage consumers to check Amazon or alternative beauty supply stores before overspending here. read more

They have a lot of wig selection but they are unwilling to allow you to try them on. Sorry but I need to see how they look. read more

I bought a 4.95 blowdryer comb it didn't work, I took it back to exchange it and they would not exchange it. They said once it had been open they couldn't take it back, how would I know it would work if I didn't open it to see if it would fit. I will never go there again it's the principle over a 4.95 item. read more

Just attempted try to purchase something. Attempted to walk into the store 5 mins prior to them closing. A women with glasses as I approach locks the door so I can't enter. IF YOU CLOSED JUST CLOSE. Say you're closed 6:50 if you don't want do business, or make money. A just so we can validate that this happened so it's not the case of the owner coming on here saying "Oh I don't recall don't remember". It's was a women in her late 30s-50s with almost shoulder length hair. Don't shop here simple as that read more

I should have known better when I saw the hair wrapped in friggin newspaper! I asked the male cashier why? and he claimed that it was to keep the hair fresh:(. No! I can't stand this place. Not a good beauty supply. Way overpriced for the hair they sell. To me it seems old and outdated. I wouldn't buy anything from here unless I had no other option! Go across the street to Beauty Spot and don't go to beauty trendz. See review. Don't waste you life n go okuuuur! read more

If you looking for last minute place is ok to get hair.. but don't have a lot of selection of crochet hair to me... looks like a lot of product though... read more

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The two young ladies on the sales floor was anything but helpful, they were holding a conversation about a guy one of them was dating, and they gave me a look of disgust when I politely interrupted them to ask for customer service. This was my first and last time shopping here! On the other hand I went to Beauty Trendz across the street and received above and beyond excellent customer service! From the moment I walked in the door until I left, the entire staff was accommodating and professional. read more

The customer service is very good. Cali is the person that helps me most of the time in the store. She's very nice, thank you Cali!

I absolutely love this beauty supply I used to go to beauty trend next door but when I kept going to get a certain thing and they never stocked up (natural Shea butter) not only that I do hair and I do a lot of kids and beauty trend didn't have a big selection of beads and things for kids so I finally said let me just go to MAP I was hesitant because it looked expensive from the outside but I took my chances and tried them out This is definitely my new beauty supply! I mean they had everything from beads to all kinds of combs to all kinds of scarf and head wraps! A wide variety of hair and all the hair products u can think of I love this place and their prices are very reasonable I want be going to ant other beauty supply:) read more

Came here with a group of girls after leaving another wig store across the street, Beauty Trendz, for rude customer service and we were glad to have arrived at MVP Beauty Plus. They have more of a selection, BETTER customer service, and were stocked. We came here & were warmly welcomed and spent a lot of money here. I recommend coming here instead and not waste your time at Beauty Trendz. read more

Upon entering the beauty supply this morning I was the only customer. The two people talking in the front of the store who I assume are the owners completely ignored me. I walked around looked at everything without so much as a "let me know if you need any help". With that particular corner being as competitive as it is you would think that they would want to give people a better experience so they would want to come back and spend money. I won't be returning to this store because kindness is a universal language it has nothing to do with any cultural barriers. read more

I am going to have to give this place a thumbs down. This beauty supply has capitalized on the well-known art of markup in hopes nobody knows better... Also they probably make a killing by being one of the few Black-aimed beauty supplies (next to a small Black-owned salon next door) with a halfway decent variety in the local. Sorry I had to prove a point to my mom when I was looking at "human" braiding hair and the cost for 16 inch braiding hair was 59.99 (EXCUSE ME???) Sorry, being that I do most of my "hair shopping" in Los Angeles I was like oh hail naw...lol I asked how much a regularly priced $69.99-79.99 dollar pack of 16 inch weave (in LA) costs and got a $105.00 price tag... BOO Outre Velvet Remi is NOT that bombay PLEASE. #next. Pricey without a cause. read more

I only came here because Beauty Spot across the street is closed on Sunday's. I will say that the customer service is so bad! The ladies on the sales floor were rude and weren't helpful at all. I walked around looking for a product for a good 15 minutes while the sales associates sat in the corner and chatted it up with each other. When I finally asked for help, they seemed bothered and just pointed to the other side of the store. Now I know why I never come here and I know that I will never come back! read more

Had the exact wig i needed and she was very helpful and flexible with my price since my budget was a bit low. I would definitely recommend

Omg where do I begin with this place first off the customer service or shall I say lack of , the women behind the counter never want to answer questions and always seem bothered I will not come here again read more

I had the worst experience here trying to get some good hair. First, the young lady that was attempting to help me was too busy talking to her co-worker and friend to listen n assist me. Also, as I'm trying on wigs, her friend and other woman crowded around and were commenting, which I thought to be unprofessional and rude. That is why I left and won't be coming back. Their selections are pricey and not good quality. Plus, they have terrible customer service. Save your time and drive in that same parking lot to World Town, thats where I went and got what I needed. read more

Just got about everything you need for men & women s hair. They are just missing Johnny B. head manipulator which is what I use.

Store doesnt open at 9am as advertised on the door, it would be great if they posted their actual hours of operation. When ive gone other times their selection of items is average. Customer service was average. read more

A lot of people are giving negative reviews but I have nothing but good things to say about MVP. Whenever I go I do get help from staff. As someone that does their own hair I do like helpful tips whenever I can get it. When I buy hair for extensions staff is good about helping to match my hair color at the time. I have been shopping here since 2012 will definitely continue to shop here! read more
