I came to this beauty supply during construction being done in the whole plaza. I was so glad they were open. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a young lady. I quickly found the braiding hair I was looking for and checked out. This beauty supply is pretty big and has a nice selection of braiding hair. I was in a rush so I didn't get any pics. I will say compared to other beauty supplies in the area they are about $2-$3 dollars higher than some other supply stores. I paid $10.99 for this particular brand I use but at another local store it's only $8.99 (but they were sold out of my 1b which is why I opted for MVP beauty). Overall my experience was a 9/10! I appreciate that MVP beauty has a good selection/variety of products and is typically well stocked with beauty essentials, the store is well organized; however, I am less impressed and rather disappointed in significant and steep price hikes for products that used to be offered at competitive prices. Due to such high price increases, shopping here no longer offers customers value for money spent. The staff at MVP don't really offer engaging or friendly service (while it's not entirely bad) the owners or management is certainly far more consumed with surveilling customers from cameras and you don't feel valued as a customer. Consumers could most definitely spend less for a better shopping experience elsewhere. They have sample products available with purchases' but only if you ask for them neither do they don't offer any type of loyalty program like other stores. MVP is closed on Sundays which is also inconvenient to shoppers who aren't able to shop during the week; nevertheless, I'd encourage consumers to check Amazon or alternative beauty supply stores before overspending here. read more

I bought a 4.95 blowdryer comb it didn't work, I took it back to exchange it and they would not exchange it. They said once it had been open they couldn't take it back, how would I know it would work if I didn't open it to see if it would fit. Just attempted try to purchase something. Attempted to walk into the store 5 mins prior to them closing. A women with glasses as I approach locks the door so I can't enter. IF YOU CLOSED JUST CLOSE. They sold repackaged cheap hair in a high end brand's package. I was charged over $200 for 2 packs of 18" hair that MATTED UP AFTER ONE WEEK! I should have known better when I saw the hair wrapped in friggin newspaper! I asked the male cashier why? and he claimed that it was to keep the hair fresh:(. Upon entering the beauty supply this morning I was the only customer. The two people talking in the front of the store who I assume are the owners completely ignored me. I walked around looked at everything without so much as a "let me know if you need any help". With that particular corner being as competitive as it is you would think that they would want to give people a better experience so they would want to come back and spend money. I had the worst experience here trying to get some good hair. First, the young lady that was attempting to help me was too busy talking to her co-worker and friend to listen n assist me. Also, as I'm trying on wigs, her friend and other woman crowded around and were commenting, which I thought to be unprofessional and rude. That is why I left and won't be coming back. A lot of people are giving negative reviews but I have nothing but good things to say about MVP. Whenever I go I do get help from staff. As someone that does their own hair I do like helpful tips whenever I can get it. When I buy hair for extensions staff is good about helping to match my hair color at the time.
