My dad went in for a basic haircut and they left him looking busted af. The lady is so disrespectful for not even mentioning that she did a terrible job and let my dad walk around like that. My sister and I noticed his atrocious haircut when he got home. We took pictures to show him and he looked so sad and shook. My mom was speechless. I was given a price and as they started braiding my hair one of the ladies started checking the length of the braids and up'd the price $30! They barely dipped my hair... look at my pictures!! literally two hrs after getting my hair done and my braids were unraveling. They said this was waist length braids but the braids really stop right under my boob. The extra length isn't braided and it going to be trimmed off. They were nice ladies and worked crazy fast but I'd rather sit a few extra hours and have my braids come out looking right rather than pay $150 for subpar work... def not coming back. read more

I been coming to saver cuts before it was saver cuts and they do good braids and twist and they like to make ur closures by sewing they will braid up all your hair or if you prefer leave out they do that as well ! They will girip the shortest hair you've seen ! The goal is growth and everyone has there own methods it's a place to come grown your hair period you just gotta be consistent with them can't be switching up letting other stylist ruin your hair . Poor customer service and rude clientele. I enjoyed the work overall but the head beautician is very inconsiderate.

I called last minute to get a braid down for a lace front/wig and they took me right away, were very nice and really affordable. This is how business SHOULD be! I highly recommend. Just stop looking and go here because you won't regret it. read more

This place has GREAT Braiders.....but it's not the cleanest place to be in. There is no a.c. and even though they have swamp coolers it can be uncomfortable on a hot day when your sitting for hours getting your hair braided. I had an appointment and waited a hour before the woman showed up. I understand things happen, but this was my first time and that did not make a good impression. The whole time the women spoke in their native language and did not try to conversate with me unless I initiated it. My hair looks great I have received multiple compliments. So I think the quality of braids is 5 star the condition of the environment you will be in is a 2 star. With that being said I recommend it. But be prepared. read more

I got a weave on and was not happy with it at all. They did not moisturize my hair before applying the weave not even a quick spay. Nothing at all, and the weave was not sewed on tightly at all. I asked them to style it straight and they did not even do a thorough job with with that. The lack of professionalism was disappointing and I will not be back. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I took my daughter here to get her hair French braided back into a ponytail with added hair. Over the phone I was told it would be "50 to 60 dollars." When I arrived I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted and she then said it would be "85 dollars because I want it small and long." Despite what we she charged the braids were BIG, FRIZZY and POORLY done. The ends of the braids were unraveling on the way home so she must not have dipped them properly. The stylist took over 3 hours to do my daughters hair so I had to leave and come back. After talking to my daughter about the experience she said that the stylist CUT the frizzy hair at the top after braiding it because it was frizzy!!! Insane. Her braids look 3 weeks old even though they're just freshly done. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. The working area is unkept and nasty, the staff is not friendly or efficient at what they do. I was so glad when I was referred to this shop!!! I've had my Senegalese twists done there and REAL tree braids (NOT crochet braids). I am a lifetime customer. Nonny is the shop owner and she is very polite, Kiwi did my twists and then Fantu did my tree braids. Like another reviewer said, no frill, thrills, bells or whistles. But I love that you can take your children in there and not have to hear profanity or rude comments like you would at any other hair salon or barber shop. The women are very respectful and ALL of them can braid, twist and braid some more. High Quality and Expeditiously!!! You get what you pay for. Well worth it! I was a customer of Yinka's, who did excellent work. Yinka no longer works in the shop and the owner refused to give me Yinka's phone number and instead referred me to Liz. I decided to give her a try....BAD DECISION. I asked for medium Senegalese twists - 1. The twists were large not medium. 3. She did not trim the stray hairs well so they do not look neat like Yinka's. 2. Another customer was waiting for Liz so the owner told Liz to help the other customer and she would dip my twists. She did not dip them right and I have lost about 5 twists in 2 days. They are just unraveling. A complete waste of $115....I used to love this shop...I will never go back again. read more

The hair braided do not braid well and the braids are consistent and the hair braiders don't braid neatly

I went to this shop some time ago and a braider by the of Blessing was very unsanitary. She would pick in her nose and cough without covering her mouth. She would also drop the towel she used on me and the comb but would not wash the comb off or get me a new towel. She put my hair in her mouth and threw it in the trash. The shop could be a lot cleaner. I was quoted one price but was charged much more. I was given an appointment time but she told me to wait until she ate before starting my hair. TBH they come across like they do not like black Americans. I have gotten the sense of this with the African hair braiders I have been to although black customers pay the most and seem to be the majority of their clients. I had to tell the owner what she was doing although the owner watched her and said nothing until I spoke up. I will never go to this place again or recommend anyone to this gross and unprofessional place. I only gave it one star because I had to in order to post a comment. read more

I went there Easter weekend....The stylist who did my hair was very busy,braiding me while others (I didn't trip) but through my hair is semi short...It's long enough to grip for braids....A week later my braids started to slide out...1 by 1. When i came in for a fix...my stylist didn't show up. Later the manager scheduled me for a touch up and my stylist didn't show up again.
