He did a great job; took out the screens to clean them (said a few of them were backwards- new house to me) and hand washed the windows- even the ones that were on my fourth level! Addendum: I wanted to emphasize this point: So I'm from the DC area and it's not a thing to wash windows. When they finished the job, I could see only very tiny moss on my roof, but it was very very small. That's what sold me on them. You get immediate results after the cleaning rather than having to wait on the moss inhibitor powder from kicking months down the road. Having said that their prices were in line with 3 of 4 quotes I had gotten and I was able to call someone on the phone and ask several questions that they did a great job answering. The only issue I had was that they had to come back to my house two more times to get the job done right. The first time they had a miscommunication with my gutters that was stated in my quote but wasn't done, so they came back and did it. I managed to catch them where they weren't that far away. The second time, was because I requested it because they missed washing a gutter and the ends of my gutter on my dormer were not quite clean. I took pics and sent it to them for proof. They did call me back the next day and apologized and had someone come over in the afternoon to clean the missed gutters and double check all gutters. They did clean all the debris quite well, in fact it looked better than when they started. I really appreciated that. Roof looks great, gutters look great and I'm satisfied, however I was told I would get before and after pics and it's been a few days so far and I have not gotten any pics. I would use them again but definitely recommend double checking their work to make sure nothing was missed.

Disappointing Experience -- Customer Questions Seem Unwelcome…read more Well, Max initially communicated with us by email and seemed like a friendly sort of chap. After a few exchanges, we were handed over to Peter, who was equally friendly at first. Rather than coming out to inspect the property, they provide a basic quote based on Google Maps. We answered their questions and asked a few of our own. After several more days of correspondence, Peter informed us that they had a particular way of doing things and, apparently, our job wasn't a fit for their service. All we wanted was to have our gutters cleaned. We didn't want the roof cleaned, anyone walking on the roof, our downspouts disturbed, or our underground drainage pipes damaged. Nor did we want downspouts carelessly plugged with a blower, or the downspouts simply ignored altogether. I've personally maintained these gutters for 35 years, but at 72, I'm no longer keen on crawling around 30 feet off the ground. Having done the job myself for so long, I know what matters to us: attention to detail, care for the property, and integrity. We were polite and patient throughout the exchange. We simply wanted to understand their methods and make sure our concerns were understood before hiring them. Unfortunately, our questions seemed to wear out their patience before we ever got to the point of scheduling a job. Apparently, asking too many questions is enough to get shown the door. In hindsight, I'm glad we discovered this before hiring them rather than afterward. We want a service provider who welcomes reasonable questions and takes pride in doing the job properly. Willies has kept it in top shape all this time. Every 3-4 years i have them clean it and apply stain. They have excellent pricing and always do extras like they had to go over a small deck to get to my roof, so they pressure washed it and stained it for free because they already had everything there. By mistake they got some stain on the paint and told me about it, asking if I had left over paint to fix it and they did without being asked. No high pressure tactics and no trying to expand the job. These guys truly are the best at what they do, honest and honorable, which explains why they have been around for so long.
