My dad has been raving about this place for a while so we went here with the family on a Tuesday and it was packed! The service was impeccable and the food was excellent. We started with risotto balls with manchego sauce. They were fried perfectly and not greasy at all. Highly recommend you order this. We also had the empanadillas de carne and bolitas de bacalao. I don't eat bacalao but everyone at the table said it was delicious. For my main course I ate a risotto with chorizo, churrasco and mushrooms. So tasty! The churrasco was cooked perfectly. The portions are very big so plan on sharing plates. For dessert we got the tarta de guayaba. This is a must, you have to leave room for this dessert. The only complaint I have is that it is very loud but it is a small place so all sounds carry. Not the place you want to go if you are planning on having a quiet dinner. Had dinner here on Friday with my wife, son, and parents to celebrate my birthday. As usual, it was a hit. Service was good. There isn't one server assigned to a table. Throughout the evening we had about four different employees check up on us. They were all friendly and professional. We started with the chorizos parrilleros and the pork belly. The porkbelly isn't on the regular menu. It was on the daily specials menu. It was one of the best I've had. The skin was crispy and delicious. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. It had a pineapple bbq sauce that was amazing. My wife ordered a cream of pumpkin soup, also on the daily specials menu. It was excellent. For the main course I went with the bife de chorizo (sirloin). It was cooked and seasoned just right. I got it with a side of truffle parmesan fries. Great night. read more

Stopped in for dinner. I was early and was seated immediately which was nice. I wasn't all that hungry and saw the pizza oven from the window so I knew they were making a Neapolitan style pizza. I ordered the margarita, and mind you the restaurant was not that busy at the time. The pizza took close to 20 mins which seemed a little excessive being that I know the cook time in the oven is no more than two minutes. I was not impressed with the pizza itself. The bottom was not crispy or charred like I'm use to and it lack tomato sauce. Maybe for some that's preferred but for me it was lacking. The dough was soft and kind of chewy. Not my cup of tea. Worth maybe visiting in the future. I always will try a place twice before deciding not to go back. read more

I've been here a couple of times. It has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants here in Puerto Rico. Everything they do they do well, from the service to the food. I really like the chorizos, empanadas, skirt steak, Pizza Argentina, and the papardelle pasta. This last time I went I ordered the papardelle pasta with a 4 cheese sauce and shrimp. One of the best dishes I've ever had. Portion sizes here a big. Unless you are a glutton, expect leftovers. Food is pricey, but considering the portion size, I would say it's fair. In my first experience with dinner there, we had a good pizza to start and my wife and I shared the risotto with mushrooms, chorizo and churrasco that had me talking about the meal for days afterwards. Great place. Be warned that parking is valet only and can be very busy. Otherwise, everything is great. Kind of an Argentina style, but with a very mixed menu. Had the ribeye and the skirt steak. Both were excellent. Good selection of beers, and a diverse enough menu to take people with you who don't like steaks so much. As I said, I will come back in when I'm back in the island so I did and wow!!! Delicious!!!! Pizzas are tasty and filled with meat and delicious ingredients. Filet mignon is to die for, cooked to perfection just as I remembered. Fish of the day was extraordinary served with a scrumptious majado (mashed jams). Good selection of wines at reasonable prices. Food is honestly terrific in flavor and presentation. Service is excellent. There is only one detail I don't like and it is the parking. You can only use valet parking, which can be annoying, but at least the guys are great about it. Muzzarella is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the island for pizzas, good meat, and great service. It gets really crowded on weekends so come with patience. read more

My favorite meal in Puerto Rico!! Muzzarella is marketed as Argentine food, but expect Italian. They are known for their pizzas and pastas, and have both English and Spanish menus. We tried the Risotto of the Day, two Alfredo Linguini's, and two Carbonara Linguini's with shrimp and skirt steak, which all totaled to a little over $100 including tax and tip. Prices range, but they average between $19-30. And that 'skirt steak' was honestly better than a LOT of the pricier meats I've had. Unlike a lot of other med-high end restaurants, there's no argument about quality vs. quantity because Muzzarella delivers a FILLING meal that is also delicious. Ya girl is picky about her pasta but this place far exceeded my expectations. In addition, despite the medium range price tag, the restaurant is not too pretentious, and it doesn't have the too uptight, too refined air to it. Rather, the servers are all wearing cute little orange adidas shirts, and are friendly enough, although a bit hurried. Customers are dressed nicely but casually and the space is not too quiet. It's location is rather unceremonious, and it faces a large avenue of oncoming traffic. This is a splurge location, especially if you're a college student like me; although for a semi-special night, it's a satisfying and unforgettable meal for a decent price. Food is greasy and expensive. The place gets so loud at lunch you can't hear yourself think. Idk if it was the acoustics but the ambiance is loud and claustrophobic.We came out with the biggest headache from the noice we really couldn't eat like that and took whatever pizzas we ordered to go. The rest of the menu is a bit limited. We took a chance and my wife and I split a pizza - half Argentinian, half seafood. The steak size had an ABUNDANCE of steak and sweet sausage, good cheese and a great thin crust. I was very surprised. Service was one of the best I had in Puerto Rico. Very attentive, the team all 'shared' the table. Very pleasant and they went out of their way. Place is a bit cramped so make reservations and get there on time. Place is also a bit out of the way. Cab or doorman never heard of it. That was a plus because typically hotel guests go to touristy places so we knew we were on the right track. Prices for wine and meal was VERY reasonable. This place is truly a hidden gem Tucked away in the most random sketchy place ever. Staff is super friendly and service and food was exceptional. I was quite skeptical when I walked in because the place is really small, quite run down and definitely needs some updating. This is one of those places where you cant judge its appearance because the food and service speaks for itself. Ordered chorizo pizza (delicious), filler mignon medium (incredibly delicious and cooked perfectly) And papardelle (simple and flavorful). For dessert the dulce de leche pancakes, to die for. More like "boo-zzarella." This place gives you an average meal with spotty service in a lackluster environment. Top 40 music serves a purpose in a nightclub, but it's not something I want to hear at lunch, specially when I'm trying to have conversations. The music here was too loud, even after asking the waiter to turn it down (which he did not). Speaking of service, it's not quite attentive here. My water was pretty much empty the entire time. For a place priding itself on grilled pizza, Muzzarella's efforts fall flat. For starters, the mozzarella they use on the pizza isn't fresh. They pile too much on it, to the point that it becomes a globby mess overwhelming the tomato sauce and toppings. I honestly could not tell that the pizza was grilled, were it not for the grainy TVs in the dining room showcasing the kitchen area. The pizza was not smoky, and it was only slightly crispy. Overall, disappointing. No complaints about the churrasco with rice and beans. But, then again, this is Puerto Rico. Churrasco with beans and rice are a very standard dish. Muzzarella delivered on this, but had they not they'd be in real trouble. Give this place a pass. read more

My favorite restaurant! I adore this place! The service is excellent and the food is superb. The only bad thing is that it is kind of difficult to find. Their sign is not as visible. But once you arrive, you are received by the valet (free-valet), so you don't have to worry for parking. It tends to get very crowded on Fridays evenings, so make sure to make reservations or arrive early. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The decor is very pretty and with kind of a trendy vibe. Now, let's get to the food. For appetizers, the arancini filled with manchego cheese risitto are great! Their sangría is very, very good. My favourite is the bubbly sangría (it has champagne, and I adore champagne). The single glass of sangría is huge! So it's worthy. They specialize in Pizzas a la parrila (pizzas on the grill). The best one and the one you MUST try is the Pizza Argentina! Thin crust, and full of flavor. Great food!!! The unique style of the food makes this place a great choice to go. The pizzas are served on the stone which is original from argentine style. The sangria was delicious. Wow, what can I say, everything was sooo good, I can't wait to come back. Hopefully next year. This was our last night and we went out with a bang. The service was exceptional, the food, phenomenal. Everything was above and beyond what I expected from an Argentinian restaurant. We had 2 pizzas, one being the churrasco and the other was the I can't remember, but it's was exceptional as well. Also for starters we had the salchicha with out a bread and chimichurri sauce, excellent.
