As shown, my eyes are red and swollen, and the eyelash extensions were placed on my clothing.

On Friday April 29th, I decided to try a new eyelash extension studio. I chose Muzi Lash Studio. I was one of two customers in the establishment, yet they catered to me in a very rushed manner and with attitude. The lash technician was rough on my eyes, and didn't take my concerns into consideration when I informed her. My eyes were extremely red and puffy when the process was complete. I have gotten my lashes done with my regular lash technician every month or two for the past year. Therefore, I have experience with lash extensions. Redness or puffiness of any kind, which I rarely experience, usually lasts for only an hour or so. I paid the lash technician, even tipped her, and went home. Over the next few days, the redness and puffiness became more severe. My family members and even strangers asked if I needed medical attention. As a contact lens wearer, I did not immediately assume that my eyes were red and puffy because of the lash extensions. I removed my contact lenses and applied eye drops throughout the day to see if the condition of my eyes would improve. On Tuesday May 3rd, I woke up and my right eye was severely swollen. I could barely open it. The lash extensions were the issue. When Muzi Lash Studio opened at 10:00 a.m., I called the establishment over 12 times between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., and received no answer. My call was finally returned in the late afternoon. The lash technician informed me that her car broke down, and asked if I could come in another day. Although I was in pain, I remained understanding of her situation, yet informed her that I needed the lashes removed immediately because of the seriousness of my eye condition. She told me to meet her at the lash studio at 2:30 p.m. I showed up on time, and was met by two employees, one older and one younger, both of Asian ethnicity. I was the only customer in the establishment this time. I informed them that I wanted the lashes removed, a refund, and the name of the eyelash glue. I had clearly suffered an allergic reaction. Unfortunately, I was given the same hasty and distasteful treatment. The employees could visually see the swelling and redness of my eyes. Yet, the lash technician was just as rough with her removal as she was with her application. When I was voicing my grievances, she told me to "be quiet" and "stop talking." She claimed that me speaking was interfering with her ability to remove the lashes. We had several arguments throughout the removal process. When the removal process was complete, I asked for a refund. The lash technician was on the phone when I made my request. She counted the money and placed it on the counter without making eye contact. I signed a document acknowledging that I received a refund, which I had no issue with. Throughout the removal process and after its completion, I asked the lash technician multiple times for the name of the eyelash glue used during the initial application. She went from ignoring me to refusing to provide it due to "store policies" which she declined to elaborate on. During the removal process, she even moved the eyelash glue from my range of view when I attempted to look at it on my own. After consulting with my mother over the phone in a nearby sitting area, I decided to call the police. I never insulted any employees or the establishment itself. It was my right as a paying customer to be aware of the product which caused an allergic reaction for my own personal recovery. The women ignored me the entire time I was on the phone with my mother. Once they heard me place the call to the local police department, the lash technician wrote the name of the eyelash glue on a shred of loose-leaf paper and slammed in on the table in front of me before storming off. The older woman then approached me and said "You have something here..." She was reaching towards the top of my hoodie, which I was wearing throughout the lash removal process. I respectfully told her to not touch me, and used my phone's camera to look at myself. The lash technician had placed the dirty lashes she removed from my eyes on my clothes as opposed to on a napkin. During the removal process, I remember feeling utensils drag across my hoodie. I assumed it was accidental, but it was clearly intentional. I felt extremely disrespected. The two police officers who arrived at the scene were very understanding. They sided with me after I explained the situation, and offered medical assistance. The women tried to paint me as problematic, yet went back and forth with the officers for almost 20 minutes when asked to verify the name of the eyelash glue. I am disgusted that it took police reinforcement to gain respect as a customer. Following this experience, I had to see an optometrist and take time from work in order to recover. I would not recommend paying for services from Muzi Lash Studio.

the place is nice and neat & the workers are sweet. problem is, their product isnt good. i did a 60pc d curl natural classic set and right after i left, more than 15pcs came off. they dont look natural at all and ive never experienced bad lashes like this. i won't be coming back. this is a pic ONE WEEK after getting my lashes done: i can't make them go straight or anything.

The service and quality is always consistent. There is the change of technicians that may happen from time to time but that is the nature of operating a small business. What's impressive is the quality and service is consistently of high standard! I have always been satisfied with the results. They prioritize customer satisfaction. I highly recommend this place!

I absolutely LOVE Leann and my lashes every time I go to her. I first started getting eyelash…read moreextensions from around 2015 and have tried a few different places until I found Leann. I would drive out of my way just to see Leann because I only trusted her. 1.5 years ago, I moved to Austin, TX and have tried multiple studios but have yet to find someone as good as Leann. I came back to visit NYC and decided to see her new shop and nothing has changed!! She is not only FAST but the quality is amazing. My lashes always last at least 3-4 weeks and it's so much more affordable than the studios in Texas. I'm sad that I don't have access to Leann more readily but I highly recommend her to anyone !! She is WORTH the drive or commute !! Not only that, she is so sweet and won't harm your natural lashes. She's honest with me and let's me know when I may need to take a break from extensions as well. I would call ahead and schedule an appointment because she definitely fills up fast
