This does not allow proper foundation for yoga standing poses. It can cause damages to the knees and hips and make it more difficult to balance. A firm foundation is essential for yoga. If a person need to pad a joint a towel or sticky mat can be used. A house or a body that does not have a firm foundation will be damaged.Namaste

For years, I used to go get full body massages every other week because my muscles in my neck and shoulder areas were so tight from my occupation as a dentist. I urge you to try sitting down and working on upper back molars on patients who have limited opening of the mouth. Anyway, I digress. It was actually my massage therapist who told me to try hot yoga because she couldn't believe how stiff and tight I was. So I went to my first class in July 2008. I was hooked. The first day I drove home with my legs shaking and still sweating profusely but I never felt more refreshed. The yoga is the same 26/2 postures each time, yet it's not boring and it's always different depending on your body.My best friend from high school who has been doing private Pilates lessons for 20 years tried this yoga and said that she understood why I was so hooked and how it was a challenging exercise. I have a 3 year old grandson now and I want to be active and crawl around on the floor and keep up with him and I credit this yoga for allowing me to do so. I don't feel old and this yoga is the reason why! I even have my hyperactive, mountain biking, surfing and golfing retired husband doing this with me twice a week and he says it helps him with all his sports. I first took the yoga sculpt (not heated) class and got a great workout. They offer an essential oil disinfectant spray for your mats. One thing that makes this place different is their humidifier in the room. It's massive and makes a huge difference so I'm excited to get a hot class in soon. Tip: make sure to bring your own towel to clean your mat since they're eco-friendly and don't have disposable towels. They accept classpass but they're doing a special for Black Friday 11/28-30. Parking- there's street parking out front and thankfully I found a spot up the street.

The only two downsides is the parking, get there early to grab a spot. When i attended class, there wasn't an extra employee to help unlock the door and welcome people in. Only the instructor.
