When I arrived, an older man working the front told me there were two people ahead of me, so I politely waited in line as instructed. A few minutes later, the technician doing inspections came outside, pointed directly at me, nodded, and motioned for me to drive into the shop. I wasn't even sure it was my turn, so I pointed at myself to confirm. He nodded again and waved me in. As I began pulling my car forward, the older man rushed out yelling at me, accusing me of skipping the line and asking if I "didn't want it anymore." I tried to explain that I was called in by the inspector, but he kept interrupting me, talking over me, and insisting I was wrong in a very rude and aggressive way. Thankfully, the actual inspection technician came back out and confirmed that he did in fact call me in, and that the person before me had not come out yet. He corrected the situation and even told the older man to call the next customer properly. The inspector was polite, calm, and professional. The complete opposite of the front guy. This whole situation was unnecessary and embarrassing, and it could have been avoided if the front staff communicated properly instead of yelling at customers. The inspection tech deserves credit for handling things professionally, but the older man at the front desk seriously needs training in customer service and basic respect. I won't be coming back here because no one should be spoken to that way just for following instructions.

Now if only people would stop crowding and blocking the way for others to enter the station, they need to filter down the row and get in line during peak times. It usually bottlenecks at the beginning of the lot because people stop and wait for the first couple pumps. They are EXTENDED gas lines so it doesn't matter what side of the car your gas port is on. If you don't already know there's a small white arrow by your gas indicator on the dash that tells you which side your gas tank is on. They've upgraded the pumps to have barcode scanner for your membership and tap capabilities for payment. They also have one singular air pump, FREE air to inflate your tires especially during winter months when your pressure may be less then desired! Never had to deal with staff but i do greet them if happen to be walking by, everyone seems pleasant!

This morning the pumps were active, but there was no attendant on-site and card payments weren't working, so you couldn't even pay cash if you wanted to. Cars began to pile behind each other, no communication, it was a mess. After calling, the person on the phone told me "if there's only one assistant manager staffed for the morning then the other locations will remain empty until he can go over there" How has BJs allowed this? After what you pay in fees to be a member and not to mention the price of gas these days, this is not how you run a business. Staff your gas stations! Seriously?!

I brought my vehicle in for what I assumed would be a basic inspection and maintenance. Not only did they completely mishandle the situation, but their actions--or lack thereof--put me in a dangerous and costly situation. First off, the shop returned my vehicle and told me it was in good shape and needed no repairs. The mechanic, Wayne, looked me in the eyes and assured me everything was fine. That turned out to be a major lie. Less than 24 hours later, while I was working and driving on the highway--50 miles from home--my vehicle broke down completely and would not start. I had to call AAA and pay $175 out of pocket to have it towed, with two of my employees inside the truck. This was not only an inconvenience but also a loss of time, money, and trust. To make matters worse, Leo & Walt's failed to take my contact information when they took my keys. I had to go back to their shop just to find out what was going on--completely unprofessional and avoidable had they simply taken five seconds to get my number. After taking the vehicle to a different, far more trustworthy shop, I found out the actual issue: bad spark plugs, a faulty coil pack, and two leaks--one from the brake fluid system and one from the power steering. All of this should have been caught by any decent mechanic. Wayne, the head mechanic, was consistently rude, dismissive, and disrespectful throughout the entire process. I also felt that I was treated differently and unfairly based on personal bias and prejudice. I do not use this word lightly, but the treatment I received had unmistakable racial undertones. It's unacceptable in any context--especially in a professional setting. Giving my car to Leo & Walt's was one of the worst decisions I've made. They put my safety and livelihood at risk, cost me hundreds of dollars in avoidable expenses, and treated me with a total lack of respect or professionalism. I would strongly urge others to avoid this shop at all costs.
