We stopped at Shaggy's to try and purchase a dog crate because we had no way to care for the dog. Being a boarding facility they agreed to take her in and help us try and get reunited with her original owners. We have already been having a nightmare of a trip with car problems and other issues. Saw a few clients of theirs pick up their pets after grooming and they looked beautifully groomed too. I would highly recommend supporting this great facility. Apparently after 4 pm, you get charged for late drop off or late pickup, was never informed of this. 4 nights for $195?! Basically paid for 5 nights. She did get a "complementary" bath. Too steep of a board for just a place for my dog to sleep and she requires very little play time because she is 16 years old. Won't be going back there.

I needed help finding a type of dog food and so, I asked a woman who looked like she worked there…read morefor some help locating the food as she went walking by me and she notified me that she was on her lunch break, and that the bag of food was "somewhere in the area" because she had "remembered seeing it around there somewhere" and she just walked off and left me standing there wondering why she didn't at least use that little walkie-talkie on her belt to ask somebody else that wasn't on their lunch break to come help? I ended up mentioning it to the store manager after cashing out at the register. He apologized for her behavior and said, that "he was gonna have a talk with her about it." I've never had even a remotely similar experience with an employee of any business in my life. It was pretty disappointing that she was more concerned about getting to her lunch break then putting the least amount of effort forth possible when a customer was in need of some help.
