Brian is a professional. I have had many great interactions with him. I call him friend at this point. He's a great guitar repairman. When you walk in it feels like home. In a world of online purchases it's great to actually try out and touch an instrument I am purchasing. He has been sense of what a customer is looking for. I have made many great purchases over the last year. They hire great employees all willing to help and demonstrate the gear. We walked in merely for guitar key, printed version and ended up with a Necklace, Printed Guitar Theory, great information on electric drums. Although only 1 behind counter we were greeted, He was working with another customer afterwards he took a few minutes to show an acoustic. Awesome day, great finds for us beginners. read more

Beware of a high mark up on guitars. We purchased a 1989 guitar for our 15 year old son in May that wanted to learn to play. We had a specific guitar we wanted, but it was not available. The owners were there and were very personable. They walked through what to look for in a guitar and discussed why this model would be a good one to use. However, once we learned this was not the right guitar for him, the owners' attitudes changed to only making money. After 6 weeks, we inquired about options for a return or buy back of the guitar. They offered less than half of what we paid ($150 offered and $375 paid) citing the guitar was used and they needed room for mark up. A big benefit of small business is working with the customer to find the right fit. They were only interested in maximizing profit and not building a long term customer relationship. If you choose to buy there, be sure to do extra research on what they offer and be prepared to negotiate their huge mark up. read more

I just recently visited the store to buy a few guitar picks and was very disappointed with the buisness. None of the employees even glanced in my direction when I entered the store, nor did ther attempt to help me find what I was looking for. I atleast expected a "Hi" and/or "Can I help you find anything?". When I had finally sought out the picks and was ready to pay, it seemed that no one wanted to work the register which was kinda ironic considering that I was the only customer in the store and there were about 5-6 guys ALL behind the counter. For anyone looking for a music accessories store, this is one you will want to pass on. The staff are unfriendly and very unhelpful which will most likely ruin your visit. So spare yourself the hassle and go to another music store. read more
