This not a place to seek a specific thing at a specific price (especially in a specific size)...but it's definitely a place to explore. There are a lot of unique pieces mixed in with the Tuesday Morning bob. Prices aren't "cheap" - but are definitely discounted over what specific branded bits actually sell for, even wholesale. Anyways: it's a place I check regularly when in BG. Be clear: this is not an "I would like to order XX in YY size, please call me when that's in stock," - kinda place. If you like it and it's the right size, you pay for it and schlep it anywhere else. If you like it and it's not the right size, you ask if they have any others to sell you on the spot, because if they don't, they won't. And that's fairly the end of it. Bits of creative furniture and creative dec on the fly. Worth the energy, especially if one if creative and flexible about their shopping list.

They also aren't a "salvage" store kr any sort-- 90% of what's there is new and imported from China and India. I was there today and walked in and the man at the desk greeted me. I need to preface this by saying I had an eye surgery recently and due to an immune disorder, the doctors don't want me within 6 feet of anyone as I could get sick and I have to wear sunglasses even indoors. The man greeted me and then I walked to the left and he said he could tell me about the specials and I said "thank you" and continued to walk as I couldn't get close and I was in pain in my eyes, ears, my whole head. He smarts off and says "well ok then" with a smart tone and a huff. Very childish. I walked around, saw how everything was mostly Chinese junk and left. I also took some photos of a few lamps and found them online NEW from the sites anyone can buy from for 60-80% less than this store has them listed at. Won't be back.

Very nice selection of furniture for every room. Found our perfect couch and love seat, they both recline. They are made by Catnapper, was not familiar with the brand. Wish we had heard of it years ago. They are the most comfortable couches we have ever purchased. Great support everywhere and they fully recline. We have purchased some very expensive reclining couches at some high end furniture stores. Again we say, these so far are the best. We were given are great deal on the set, so it was a win, win for us. They delivered them the next day, for free, win again. Shawn and Jonathon, who delivered our couches, were absolutely awesome. They put it exactly where we wanted, offered to help move end tables and coffee table. They were extremely friendly, answered all our questions, even the ones about the area, another win. We are going to be needing furniture for our other rooms and Jacob's Home Furnishings is where we will be going. So if you need furniture go here!

Not many stores allow you to get Large Lip Balm and pair that with Frog Jam .... just sayin, these are the making for a special shopping trip! That being said in addition to these cool things, they had a large selection of Swan Creek Candles, oils that came preloaded fir dipping your Italian bread, whole bag fresh grits ... plus tons of little bags of mix yourself seasonings for dips, clothing items .... plus more! The staff, again, were really friendly. The shop was clean and organized. Easy to shop and see what they had available. We'd totally come back here again and are looking forward to trying the oil we bought.
