I absolutely love The Musician's Studio and I could not be happier in sending my daughter here for…read moreher violin lessons. The main reason why I love it here is because they actually focus on learning music -- learning how to read music, learning how to feel and hear music, learning how to understand music -- all of which enables a student to gain such a deeper understanding of music and can then actually have a lifelong knowledge & skill of where they know what they are doing & why -- which is what really fosters a love and joy from within. In speaking with the owner of The Musician's Studio (Bob) you will see how he genuinely loves music, loves playing and wants to share that knowledge and love with students so they can also achieve their own joy in music. In our time at The Musician's Studio, my daughter has learned more in a few months than she learned in 4 years at the prior place that we used to attend. My daughter's violin teacher at The Musician's Studio (Ms. Emily) is beyond awesome as she in knowledgeable, very encouraging and positive, and purely loves and enjoys music and teaching that subject to others. My daughter feels so motivated and inspired because of Ms. Emily and is excited to practice during the week so she can show Ms. Emily what she accomplished by the time of her lesson on Saturday. I give The Musician's Studio 5 stars (more if I could) and would fully recommend as place where you or your kids can come and actually learn music and expand your horizons.

Between my own praises of his teaching methods, as well as the difference it has made in his physical and occupational therapy sessions, Mark has just gone above and beyond. He is SO knowledgeable, and he shares so much about music with me..I feel as though I am absolutely getting the most well-rounded lessons available. I have been taking lessons on and off since I was 9 years old ( I am 32 now), and I can safely say I don't think you will find any instructors that will compare to the ones here at Sweet Music.

He has been very patient and she gets something out of every lesson. Her first recital was at the world famous Stone Pony. How many 6 year olds can say they played the Stone Pony. My son started with Drew and now works with Matt. Both were just awesome starting with basics and now moving him in to more complex beats and songs. My son plays in the Beach Music Rock Band now. He plays between 5 and 8 shows a year, usually 2 to 3 songs per show. The confidence and stage presence he has gained far outweigh the skills he has learned on the drums. However, he is still the best 10 year old drummer I have ever seen. He has played the NJ Boardwalk, BlueClaws games, the Stone Pony, iPlay America and few other places. His experiences with the band, Drew, Matt and Danny have made his childhood so much better.
