Danielle is amazing at helping my daughter grow in her vocal abilities, stage presence, and putting personality into her songs. The other wonderful things that have happened at the same time is how her self confidence has improved, holding herself stronger, and loving herself more. Which is such an important thing for children to learn about themselves. We are forever indebted to Ms Danielle and having her be apart of our daughter's life.

I have been taking voice lessons from Eva Cassel for about 6 months. I am 53 years old, and I have…read morebeen studying voice since I was about 16. I was trained in the Traditional Classical style, and I have always been horribly self-conscious of my voice. I have always preferred to sing Pop and Christian Contemporary, and nobody in the "industry" sings that way, except maybe for Josh Groban. That was never the sound I wanted for my voice. Even the teachers I had who claimed to teach "Pop" never tried to change the tone of my voice. (They all thought it was fine.) I have always strongly disliked Classical Opera. During my first lesson with Eva, she was not judgmental with the way I sang, but she knew my voice was not the right sound for the styles I told her I liked and disliked. She informed me that I have a cavity behind my nose (everyone has it) and I wasn't using it! She gave me some exercises to brighten my voice. At first, I thought I sounded like bugs bunny. However, when I recorded myself, my voice was more clear and resonant than ever, and for the first time I did not cringe. Every week I have been getting better and better as I am really loving the way my voice sounds. Eva's approach to giving me the tools I need to sing has been life-changing. She is by far the best vocal teacher I have ever trained with. I am a professional Pianist and Fingerstyle Guitarist. I moved here to Nashville from Oregon a little over 10 years ago, and my lessons with Eva is much of how I think I have benefited from moving here! I wanted to sing, but I was scared. After almost 30 years, I took a chance. I'm glad I did. Now I sing for myself and I sound damn good!!! Linda is patient and wants you to have proper techniques. I learned to support my voice so I don't struggle to hit notes and how to use breath control to keep it going. She gave me the foundation to be a strong, clear vocalist. I sing pop. I sing jazz. I was referred to this voice coach by another voice coach who mentioned in passing that Mary Ann…read morewill never return phone calls even to a colleague. I had a performance coming up and the referral source thought I would fit with Mary Ann very well. I met with her numerous times (probably spent about $1000.00 over the course of 6 weeks at the rate of $110.00 an hour.) She is very knowledgable and helpful, but then for no reason whatsoever she cut off all communication with me. I e-mailed her, called her to see what was up, thinking she had experienced some terrible accident. She did respond that she was fine but that was it. Even her assistant who books for her could not find out what was going on. So if you want a professional, long-term relationship with a vocal coach do not choose this person. There is something very wrong with ghosting people at her age. (She is in her 60's and I thought that behavior was only done by twenty-somethings.) Life and musical passion are too precious to be affected by this kind of disrespect.

Our 5-year-old son just finished "Grow a Musical," SML's week-long musical summer camp. The group…read morewas lovely. The building was comfortable and spacious. With Carly's guidance, he and his peers worked together to create a musical adaptation of a children's book. They wrote their own song lyrics and choreographed a lot of the dance moves too! Through the games and activities, he learned about new instruments, stage directions, creative collaboration with peers, and I even learned some exercises to help him focus. It's fun to see everything come together at the end with the final performance on stage. The camp was 5 days, 12-4pm. The activities require a lot of focus and every day the little dude came home completely wiped out. The camp is most rewarding with parent participation at home, to practice lines and songs (2x10 minutes each day was plenty for us).

They both ended up doing so and the transition was super easy. They've been great with helping us use our makeup lessons, and the boys are still into the lessons. Definitely recommend.

My mom brought my violin to this place to have it repaired for me as a graduation present…read more My violin has never played like this! I am so impressed with the quality of the repair. Not only does my violin sound better than it ever has, it's easier to play too. They also did some cosmetic work, and it really does look much nicer. When we went to pick the violin up, we returned our rental and we were greeted with an opportunity to go to a practice room and test it out. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful, and I could really tell that they cared about my satisfaction with the repair. They also gave me great care advice when I asked. I'm so thrilled to have my violin sound so nice and for it to be so well taken care of. For any string instrument repair, I would extremely highly recommend. I am sure their lessons are top notch too, though I haven't experienced for myself.
