We used the playlists in the portal to put the songs we definitely wanted played, and some we didn't, then we gave him free reign on the rest! He was very engaged during the wedding and definitely kept the party going. Oh and...do the shoe game!!!! We were hesitant about it at first and we decided to do it last minute (like dinner was about to be served at our reception and we told him we were going to do it). We were served our dinner first, so we did the shoe game while everyone else was finishing eating. It provided entertainment and got all the guests involved, they even started shouting out answers! It went by super fast and it was a great personalized addition to our reception! We also got the Photo Booth through Mike and it was a hit! Everyone loved going in there with different props and different groups of people. It served as an amazing and memorable guest book for us for years to come!

My husband is Greek, and he had all the music we needed for our Greek dances, as well as all of the other music the bride and groom selected. Before the events he visited the venues with us and gave us guidance in terms of the flow of the events occurring during the evening. Billy is first class, and top-notch! I recommend him 100%!

Jamie Jansen is a rockstar…read more After changing my wedding plans 5 months before the big day from a traditional medium-sized Ohio wedding to an intimate ceremony in NYC's Central Park I didn't know how Jamie would react. All I did know, is that I wanted him to come with us! I saw his books, studied his website, and heard raving reviews from friends that used his services and knew that no matter what over-priced, world-renown photographer I found in New York, their work would not compare. He is a true artist. He tells your story through his photographs. Did I mention he is super sweet, personable, and funny? Yep, He made everyone loosen up and laugh. He has a great personality, which helps him capture true emotion and genuine smiles. He went above and beyond. He actually brought another photographer with him to NYC (free of charge) just to be sure he was prepared to do the job right. And man, did he nail it. I have gotten a ridiculous amount of compliments on my pictures!! Why am I even rambling?? See for yourself...This is a sneak preview he sent to me a couple days after the wedding: http://www.jamiejansenphoto.com/slideshows/2009/bivins/index.html So boys and girls...what have we learned? Jamie is better than whoever else your considering, I promise you. Even if your not from Ohio (attention my NYC yelpers!) he is worth the travel fees. If he lived in the city he could charge 3 times as much so your actually getting a pretty damn good deal:)

This is someone who is schooled in photography and really understands what he's doing, not just snapping away hoping for a good shot. He stacks the deck in his favor because he's schooled in film and photography. Jamie did our engagement shoot as well as our wedding, and it was FANTASTIC!!! Our engagement photos were the best photos of our lives until our wedding photos! He takes his time to make you comfortable, puts you in settings that will look great, and then has you be yourself. He is not a traditional "SMILE! NOW MOVE OVER HERE! NOW HERE!" He's looking to capture the real moments, not posed, forced, awkward incidents. He'll get as artsy as you want, and will incorporate any and all ideas into the shoot. We could not be happier with our photos, and recommend Jamie wherever you are!

Events held there and sure to be done right! The bar is well-stocked and their bartenders know how to properly pour great drinks. I've attended many events there and have never had a bad time. The center has extras that customers can rent, such as a Photo Booth, and can contract with a local DJ, photographer, and caricature artist. For less than $6100, the center can host up to 115 people for a wedding that includes food, a DJ, photography, cake, linens, and even 4 hours of open bar. In this economy, that is one heck of a deal! The large banquet hall also has a beautiful fire place that can be lit and they have an in-house officiant if you choose to hold your ceremony and reception in one place. If you're in the market for a wedding venue or a place to hold your next big event, definitely give them a try!

Friendly, responsive and VERY flexible with the schedule of special announcements, etc. The food was probably where this venue lacked. We had Charlee Parker for our dj at my daughters wedding on May 31 at The Reserve at Stonecreek…read more I don't like to leave negative reviews but I feel as if I need to let you know my experience. I know Charlee was going through a divorce and maybe that's why he was not very "present" for my daughter's wedding. He was very laxed in his communication and most of the conversations were about him. My daughter spent so much time creating a play list which he did not follow and never played more than half the songs on the list. He did not announce things that were supposed to be announced and had to be reminded several times to do so. He was also drinking during the reception. He lost the father of the bride song an it was very awkward waiting for him to find it while my husband and daughter just stood on the empty dance floor. He was suppose to only play 1:30 for the father of the bride dance the mother and groom dance and the mother and bride dance and he played the entire song for each one. He never announced last call at the bar and he had no idea that he was supposed to stop Playing music at 10:45. We had to go to him and tell him. For what we paid for this service I am so disappointed and will not be recommending him to anyone. I hope the next wedding he dj's he is more present.
