She went above and beyond to color coordinate our event and set up the space perfectly for our needs before we even arrived. We adored the decor and the decorating she has selected for this unique and interesting historic space. A late September wedding and it was really chilly on the water, but the views are quite lovely. The holiday event was really nice and drew a large crowd. We didn't wait to see Santa, but we did enjoy some cookies and punch and we also got to spend time with the sweet animals there for the nativity. There were some school choir performances that we heard a little bit of. I will say that both times I've been here, the bathrooms were either closed off or very hard to find. Where are they? Does anyone know? No one had an answer either time I was there. So as long as you don't have to go potty, it is a great event venue. They also had a couple food trucks there during the recent event and the chili was really good. They had some interesting baked potato options too. My son and I enjoyed visiting the Tudor House and I thought the December event was well orchestrated.

It was an outdoor event so I didn't get the full experience of touring the inside of the house, but I can't say enough good things about the yard, the views, the setup, the food. The house/mansion backs up to the lake and the view is spectacular. There's ample parking but the overflow lot is a bit of a walk. My only criticism would be that the drive leading up to the house is very dark and narrow so it could use more lighting for night time events. This is an awesome place for an outdoor wedding if you're willing to chance the weather in northeast Ohio!

They came to the venue in time to set up, fire up the oven and start serving right at the scheduled time while the rest of us were off rehearsing. Scott needed no direction from me other than "where would you like me to set up my serving table?" It was the easiest event I ever hosted. All of the pizzas were all unique and used many topping combinations from standards like pepperoni to unusual like Thai chicken or spaghetti and meatballs. Everybody enjoyed trying the different options and picking their favorites. Buffalo chicken wing and the one with mashed potato were mine but I heard others rave over the seafood Alfredo that I didn't try (far more options than one belly can handle!) There was quite a bit left over too, which reheated very well. Also included was a delicious salad, cheese stuffed breads and wood fired cinnamon rolls for dessert. It was all delicious and nobody went away hungry. For me, the best part was that Scott did all the work and I was able to relax and enjoy watching the pizza production and sampling the tasty results just as though I was one of our guests. The stuffed mushrooms were excellent, it was the best dish we got. Fish was fried a bit hard but still tasted good. The Raspberry Mojito was decent, the mint added didn't add anything but didn't take anything away. The service was fine, nothing amazing but nothing bad. It was dead when we went just some people at the bar and some golf bros that came in as we were leaving. The bad: Please offer bottled water, that tap water tastes straight from the lake. If it is bottle water it's the cheapest water I've tasted. Good thing I ordered lemon with it. The fries, there was so much salt that they burned to eat. Whoever was so heavy handed with the salt needs to scale it back a bit or offer the fries by default without salt. They had a good taste but it was lost to extreme sodium. The inside was clean, like I said it was dead so it was organized. The bathroom floor was sticky but it's not the worst bathroom I've been in. We might come back, we really enjoyed the mushrooms but I got my entire sodium allowance with just a couple of the fries. We barely ate the fries, yet we're not comped them as we stated they were bad. They removed the soda I had to ask for to get the salt out of my mouth because that water tasted so bad. Both plates of fries went back after the complaint and we still had to pay for them.
