I attended an event at the Tuolumne Community Resilience Center this weekend…read more I was blown away by the accessibility of this venue. You can learn a little bit more about the history of the building here - https://www.mymotherlode.com/news/local/2823816/tuolumne-county-celebrates-opening-of-first-resilience-center.html . The event was exceptional and this venue played a big part in the success of the event. Parking is easy here and there's plenty of it. The bathrooms are immaculate, modern, and spacious. The lighting was on point too. Always a plus when you're doing multiple mirror checks :) The main kitchen area was clean and well organized. There was plenty of room for multiple people to be in there, and it had a serving window cutout, which allowed for smooth catering during the event and it made for easy clean-up of glasses following the event. The plethora of trash receptacles throughout this venue helped keep all public spaces clear of clutter. The main meeting area, where the event was hosted, was beautiful. It was ideal for hosting a well-planned sit-down dinner event. The ceilings were high and every corner of the spacious room was superbly lit. I appreciated that the layout of the event room allowed for clear visibility of the main podium/stage for all attendees. The sound throughout the evening (for both the band and speakers) was fantastic and clear. This venue exceeded my expectations in every way. It was up to date with all of the necessary equipment, while still feeling welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this venue to others in the future. Trust.

I was recommended Van's as the source for the doors for my new custom home build in Copperopolis by…read moremy general contractor. I oriented myself to doors from YouTube as much as I could--a subject I knew nothing about--and thought through the design style I was looking for. When I went in for my appointment with Dave, sending the blueprints ahead of me, he was able to quickly walk me through the process of selecting my doors. For example, he knew from the blueprint that an exposed front door like mine really had to be fiberglass to hold up to the blazing heat and winter storms. The shaker style interior doors (MDF) were a no-brainer for me, but to choose the front door I had to take catalogues home. There was one stop back to finalize things months later before the order went in, and Dave pointed out that we had changed the front size, which would make the handle disproportionate. Changed it. I wasn't there for the installation process, the contractor coordinated it. It is Thanksgiving day, and I just wanted to thank Dave and his crew. All the doors make me happier than I could have imagined as a new home owner.
