Awesome service!…read more I've taken a few vocal lessons at Truimph and pop in from time to time when I grab a Booster Juice to grab strings or have a look at all their stuff! The person who books lessons is Jenn, she's really friendly and from what I can tell she works hard to meet your needs. I also happen to take my vocal lessons with her. She personalizes your lessons and really works to make you happy and to get a great sound coming from you. I'm a female vocalist in a metal band, and she's really helped me find an edge in my voice and connect with my pipes. In talking with a few of the other teachers there, they do lessons from beginner all the way to college/university prep. The staff are all very friendly and very knowledgable about their product, and they're really great at making you feel at ease if you entered the store as someone like me (knowing I wanted to start playing accoustic guitar, but knowing nothing about them.) They have a lots of entry level guitars, basses, and amps, but they also have lots of really nice stuff for a seasoned player. My husband has been playing bass since he was 15 and loves the selection of gear that they have, and he often wanders in there just to "talk shop" with the employees. Overall, if you're someone who wants to get into the music, or you have a kid who wants to start playing an instrument, I really recommend the music lessons, or just popping in and having a chat with anyone behind the desk. If you love music, still check it out.

We started the new Rock Kids program at their old location, and then moves with them to this…read morelocation mid-semester. The new location is great: the room used for our program is no and bright, and has lots of room for the kids to move around in with less fear of someone being bashed with a drumstick We really like this class. The variety of music is great, and the kids get exposed to a lot of different instruments, from basic shakers to ukuleles. There is just enough structure that you're not constantly having to wrangle your little One; if they wander off to investigate something, it's not the end of the world. This program was a new one for them this year, and I'm really glad that we got to experience it. A lot of other music programs we've done/looked at focused on juvenile music, and there's nothing wrong with that, but it gets old for the parents really quickly. A lot of kids, even little ones, have a very broad range in musical tastes as well, so this was a perfect choice for us. We've already reserved our spot for next semester, and I believe they've added more time slots starting be next year, too. The program has groups for several age ranges, so if you're looking for a preschool/early learning music program that's a little different from everything else offered, check this one out! I'm so glad we found Dominelli.

I attended this school for 8 months and when I started there I had basic knowledge on chords and…read morehow songs are structured. Early on I was able to gain good base knowledge, and built a foundation for me to learn from. I was not particularly impressed with some of the teaching methods, it could be the group format that was not working for me. At some point I felt like I was stuck and a good portion of the lessons then felt like a repeat. The teachers, one in particular that didn't seem super focused during lessons, and I felt completely ignored sometimes. I also had an issue with some of the individual workshops on guitar setups that EGMS offered. I was given the impression that the student (me) would getting a more hands on interactive experience, It was quite the opposite. You basically sit in a room for a long time and wait around for the teacher to do it for you. Overall, the value is descent for lessons in the early beginner stages of your journey at EMGS, but don't expect any big jumps in progress with it being group based. Also be aware of what your getting into if you investing in any of their other course offerings.
